The OPPO R7 Plus is Chinese smartphone that has been lately offered in the Malaysian market with the price tag of RM1,998. However, there is just the gold version available for now.

Spec-wise, R7 Plus comes with a 6-inch (1920×1080, 367ppi) AMOLED display that stretches from edge to edge, surrounded by premium metal. The phablet Xiaomi Mi5 Plus is likely to sport a nearly 6-inch Quad HD display and a Qualcomm next-generation chip (SD820). It comes with the higher mega-pixels camera comparing to Mi5, 24MP for the main one and 13MP for the front one. The battery capacity can be up to 3,500mAh. As what Xiaomi usually do with their high-end devices, the company may shop camera sensors from Sony.

The Xiaomi Mi5 Plus with the powerful inside hardware, the price can come with $600. The announcement date is still unknown. Nevertheless, they are supposed to be presented to the public in the period of October and November. So, let’s wait and see!

Not long ago, Xiaomi hinted that they would introduce a new version of Xiaomi Mi4i, which comes with 32GB of internal storage. Lately, the firm has added more information related to this handset. The 32GB ver will be available on sale with Dark Grey for $235 (about RM895 as the Xiaomi Mi4i 32GB price in Malaysia).

In terms of specs, there is no change, of course except for the ROM. The handset fearures a Snapdragon 615 SoC octa-core a 5-inch FHD display, 2GB RAM and a 3,120mAh battery. As for the camera combo, it has a 13MP primary and a 5MP secondary shooter, not bad for selfies, right?! Other than that, the phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI 6 on top.

To recap, Xiaomi Mi4i has finally confirmed what they leaked days ago about an upgraded Mi4i with larger ROM capacity. However, the info about its availability here in Malaysia is not announced. As a result, it is launched in India along with several new products and promotions to celebrate the day.

Finally, everything is clear now, or at least the truth that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 launch is going to happen sooner than expected has been claimed, according to a recent report of Korean media.

However, there is some slightly confusing info about Note 5 release date. Previously, intel mentioned that August 12 would be the big day for the flagship Note 5, yet the latest news tells us that the event has been scheduled to be on in New York on August 13, 2015, which means there is no more than one month before the official launch. This decision is considered as a head start over Apple and their iPhone 6s and 6s Plus released in mid-September.

So, whether it is 12 or 13, we all know that it is going to happen in August for sure. As we are getting pretty close to that day, many phone renders and info related to the new Note of Samsung have been spotted and spread on the internet.

On the other hand, Note 5 is said to feature a microSD card slot that supports microSDXC card capable of up to 128GB. Besides, there would be a 16MP rear and 5MP front camera like what we see in the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. Even though some rumors as well as expectations showed that Note 5 would have 4GB RAM to make it as strong as possible, it is more likely now that the machine will go with 3GB RAM.

The Oneplus brand is going to launch its next generation device – Onceplus two. This has attracted a lot of attention due to the near future release on 27th July. Just only next fews day, this important event will be occurred.

Therefore, there are many leaks and rumors have been mentioned around this expecting machine. Recently, the front panel of the Oneplus two handset has revealed from a Weibo account of tipster, some related OnePlus Two leaks information was also posted from this source before.

On the panel, there is a cutout with the oval shaped form, it can be assumed that the cutout is space for the fingerprint sonsor of the phone. The handset already teased the inclusion of the security feature. Besides, there is another information is that the co-founder of Oneplus Carl Pei said that he doesn’t fond of putting fingerprint scanner backside.

During the recent quarter of iPhone, it may have a disappointing sales numbers. Nevertheless, the company seeks to give proof that iPhone still has powerful wave of demand to ride.

During the earnings call, the CEO of Apple Tim Cook said that the company has witnessed this quarter with a record-breaking number of Android switchers ever. This means Apple is emphasizing more people from Android are switching to Iphone than they were in the past. Apple saying about this to prove that the brand is still growing.

Perhaps, when iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were released with the larger screens than the previous iPhone’s generation, it’s likely to attract those using Android. There are some analysis sources worried that, Apple might has limit to develop since the iPhone 6 has done so well. It seems like future upgrade of iPhone and its further will still on the way the get the attraction of consumers.

Even though Tim Cook said that the rate of switchers is higher than ever, he didn’t provide the specific number. He just pointed out the various strategies and the grow of iPhone’s market share. It’s convincing first-time smarphone shoppers to choose iPhone. Besides, encouraging the recent customers to keep up with the iPhone when they upgrade.
