Not long ago, OnePlus team announced that OnePlus 2 would be powered by Snapdragon 810 third edition processor. And they also claimed that overheating issue would be gone! However, there are a lot of opinions for and against this idea.

People know that Snapdragon 810 chipset has caused overheating problem for many smartphones. Therefore, when informed of the official chip of OnePlus Two, phone users keep wondering and asking about that issue. Some even think that it could be an advantage in the winter since a hot device can warm up their hand.

On the other hand, OnePlus has made it clear that they are aware of the situation and have claimed on their forum that they will clock the Snapdragon 810 at 1.8GHz instead of 2.0GHz for the new OnePlus 2 as a precaution against heat.

Besides, also in that forum, OnePlus officially denies the rumor saying that OPO2 price is set at $322 (about RM1,202 for OnePlus Two price in Malaysia), but actually it will cost more than that! They also explains that they are paying up to 60% more for the Snapdragon 810 compared to Snapdragon 801, which makes the OPO2 price higher. Would you feel OK to pay more than $322 (RM1,202) for OPO2?

Other than that, there is no more news for this OnePlus flagship phone. If costing more than $322, perhaps OnePlus Two could come up with a 2K display, 4GB RAM and 16+ megapixel camera. Who knows?

The Oukitel new phone that is coming with super large 10,000mAh battery has just been leaked in some photos on the internet. This time we also know its name, Oukitel K10000, and some other Oukitel K10000 specs as well.

We think that Oukitel company has taken a very bold move when deciding to something that has never been tried before. It could be the very first phone on the market to feature such a huge battery. In the following pictures, we can see that K10000 looks a bit more robust than other common smartphones. Some say that it’s too rugged while some others think it’s gonna suit the powerful cell.

And we also have Gionee Marathon M5 featuring 6,020mAh battery and lasting for 4 days, which is considered the largest up to now. But if Oukitel is really making a phone with 10,000mAh batt, that would be the first in the world!

Besides the incredible batt, the new Oukitel phone is said to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop sport the rugged look with large screen. It seems like the new handset (in the pictures) cannot come with a slim design.

Except for the battery and some pictures of the new smartphones, there is no more information of other specs! We will update you more as soon as possible!

If you have visited the Meizu official website today, you may have seen a new poster on the page, perhaps referring to a big event that is going to happen at the end of the month, June 30, 2015 to be specific.

Meizu new phone 2015 is coming!!!

The new teaser is impressive with the black background a the tag line “Born to Kill”. Sure that Meizu company will hold a new conference on June 30 at the Beijing National Convention Center. It is likely that they will introduce some new product(s) at the event, but there is no official information about them.

According to some expectations as well as predictions, it is going to be Meizu MX5 because it has strong specs and premium design to compete with other flagships of Xiaomi , ASUS, or Lenovo. Meanwhile, Meizu M2 Mini, which is also rumored to be launched on June 30, does not really have what it takes to be “born to kill” compared to other famous flagship phones. So, the debut of Meizu M2 Mini could be a false rumor.

Some people wonder if the number 630 has any meaning. We do, too. Perhaps it just implies the date, June 30, or it could explain the material used for the new machine. Some say that refers to the grade of stainless steel material of Meizu MX5. But, only Meizu has the right answer.

In terms of Meizu MX5 specs, TENAA reveals that the Meizu MX5 will come with the following key features:

– Processor: Octa-core 2.3Ghz chipset (rumored to be MediaTek MT6793)

– RAM: 3GB

– Camera: 20MP rear and 3MP front-facing

– Battery: 3,150mAh

– Display: 5.5-inch Full HD

Other than that, consumers may feel more excited to know that it will sport 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage. All of them will make an amazing smartphone.

As for the camera, LG G4 Pro is said to own an incredible combo of a 27MP rear and a 8MP front shooter. Those who like capturing pictures will seriously take this into consideration. Also, there are rumors saying that LG is going to let G4 Pro dress a metal clothes. It would look premium! Yet, bear in mind that the information has been not confirmed by LG company.

In conclusion, there might be a strong fighter ready to compete with other flagships on the market in the next months – LG G4 Pro with all the best specs at the moment: Snapdragon 820, 2K display, 27MP cam, and 4GB RAM. If you remember, Xiaomi was the one that started the trend of omitting earphones from retail packages and many manufacturers nowadays also follow its path. In 2015, it is likely that Xiaomi will start another trend, perhaps omitting the phone charger!

In fact, we are living in a world that one person has more than just one smart device on average. And each machine is accompanied with chargers, yet people are tending to spend on standalone ones. So, there must be some adapters obsolete. Of course we know that producing chargers increases costs of a phone package and affects the environment. Those can be the reason why Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun is considering shipping Xiaomi phones without chargers, which will even make Xiaomi devices much more affordable. However, some other opinions state that if that is the case, they will have to buy chargers if their own one cannot fit the new handset. The point is that will it cost more or less?

Personally, we would like to have one charger fitting all the devices. As a result, when travelling, we just have to bring one for everything. Another good point is that if we buy new phone, we can use the old charger. That would be more convenient, right?!

As we know, ASUS ZenFone 2 comes with many different versions with different RAM and ROM. So, we know that OnePlus has got a new permanent price, reducing up to 300 Yuan (nearly RM182) to be specific. And then OnePlus team confirmed the debut of OnePlus Two along with 2 promotional programs before that. Now, the manufacturer continues to unveil another detail of OnePlus Two as a way to maintain consumers’ attention. That works!

Lately, one of the most important OnePlus 2 Specs that we care about is the processor. There is a picture released on OnePlus’s official Facebook page and quickly spread to overseas official forums, announcing that Snapdragon 810 v2.1 will be use to power the next OnePlus generation. Xiaomi Mi Note also owns the same version of the third edition of the processor.

UPDATED NEWS: Huawei Nexus 2015 specs have been leaked!

After the partnership between Huawei and Google was confirmed by an employee of Huawei in the UK, now we’ve got an even more exciting new about the Huawei Nexus 2015 specs. A popular leakster @evleaks has just revealed some detailed features of one of the most anticipated flagship in the H2 of 2015. 

According to the leaks, the handset will be equipped with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, a 5.7-inch QHD screen, and a fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the Nexus produced by Huawei will start its shipment in the Q4.

So, it is important to note that we are glad to be informed of the Huawei Nexus 2015, but we should take the info as a pinch of salt. None of the specs is claimed officially. Anyhow, if that the case, Huawei Nexus 2015 will be worth the wait!

Huawei and Google are working well together to release an amazing smartphone. It is also quite easy to notice that Huawei company wants to get their brand name more recognized in the mobile market, which can be helped by the association with Google in the Nexus project. On the other hand, sources say that Huawei will not be able to put the Nexus on sale in their home market, which is China for sure. It is because most Google Services have been banned in China. Yet, who knows what can happen in the next months. Everything can be changed. Perhaps Huawei Nexus 2015 with the same hardware but with tweaked software will debut here.

However, there are not many details spotted for this flagship device. According to reports, the new Meizu smartphone will be coming with a 5-inch display. “Meizu M2 Note Mini” are what leaking news calling it because of the size.

In terms of Meizu M2 Mini Specs, the machine will be powered by a smooth MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor, a Mali-T720 GPU and strong 2GB of RAM. This can be a bad news for Samsung smartphone users since hackers now can break into Samsung Galaxy phones and do things such as remotely monitoring them, installing malware, stealing personal data, etc.

According to NowSecure – a security firm, a vulnerability in the keyboard software on the devices is the main way for the hackers to get into the phones, look through their camera, listen to the microphone and read messages. Reportedly, over 600 million people using Samsung mobile with SwiftKey keyboard pre-loaded have been left exposed to a serious security risk.

Actually, NowSecure did inform the Korean tech-giant Samsung of the vulnerability in November, 2014. Then, Samsung gave a patch to mobile operators across the world. Nonetheless, there are still millions of Samsung handsets with SwiftKey vulnerable to this problem. The list of affected machines includes Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini, yet NowSecure cautions that it is not an all-inclusive list, so be careful! Unfortunately, you cannot uninstall SwiftKey from the Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones because the app is deemed to be native.

Lately, new pictures of Samsung Galaxy A8 in real life has been spotted. It also comes with pretty good specs and aims at the mid-range smartphone market.

Galaxy A series marks the change of Samsung into all-alloy design with affordable prices. In fact, Sony Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 have gained a lot of attraction from phone consumers not only in Japan but also all over the world. And now, it looks like Samsung is going to continue their strategy with Samsung Galaxy A8.

According to some previous leaks, the new machine was initially said to feature 5.7-inch display. Meanwhile, a GFXBench listing mentioned a 5.5-inch. Now, we see the picture showing Samsung Galaxy A8 together with Galaxy A7 which sports a 5.5″ screen. It is easy to notice that A8 is obviously larger. That means the original rumor has turned out to be true. A8 is a 5.7-inch FullHD AMOLED device. On the other hand, there is a change in the design of A8. Its corners are much rounder compared to those of Galaxy A3, A5 and A7.

Even though the images do not tell us much about Samsung Galaxy A8 specs, we know that it will come with a Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. Besides, there is a combo of 16MP primary along with 5MP secondary shooter. The whole handset will be run by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and 3,050mAh battery. We can say that A8 is gonna be super slim as it measures 157.7 x 76.7 x 5.9mm and weighs 140 grams.

Anyhow, we still do not have the official Samsung Galaxy A8 price in Malaysia for now. Hopefully the nearing official announcement will unveil everything!

Sony‘s new flagship has been unveiled, revealing many interesting things about its specs and design. It is Sony Xperia Z4v, a Verizon-exclusive device with upgrades over Sony Xperia Z3+ (aka Sony Xperia Z4).

Sony Xperia Z4v Specs:

Sony Xperia Z4v will boast a 5.2-inch WQHD screen. It is the first upgrade from the Sony Xperia Z3 Plus‘s 1080p display. The second one is that there are Qi and PMA wireless charging support built in the machine. Next, the battery also has a quite a big change for the capacity. It’s bigger with 3,000mAh, instead of 2,930mAh batt of Z4.

As for the design, this new model has the “v” sign on the front surface of the phone together with the “Verizon” as you see in the picture. However, in comparison with Z4’s thickness, Z4v seems not as slim as the predecessor. In fact, the new phone measures 8.7mm and 162 grams, which is 1.7mm thicker and 18 grams heavier than Z4.

Apart from those differences, other specs remain unchanged such as the chipset, RAM, ROM and cameras. In other words, Xperia Z4v will still come with Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of storage, a combo of a rear 20.7MP and a 5.1MP front-facing cam. Other than that, it will feature IP65 and IP68 ratings for water and dust protection.

In conclusion, the new member of Xperia family called Sony Xperia Z4v is coming with a beautiful design and good specs this summer. Nonetheless, so far there has been no official information about Sony Xperia Z4v price in Malaysia yet, but stay tuned; we will keep updating you with great news.
