It’s been a year since Xiaomi first set up shop in India. To celebrate its first anniversary, Xiaomi will announce a new device or it can be known that a new variant of an old device. The Xiaomi Mi4i 16GB was launched in April this year in India, now it seems like the Mi brand is going to introduce its 32GB variant.
The company sent out a teaser via its social streams “Move 4 to double” with matchsticks reading “16”. From the teaser it is likely that the company will launch the higher storage of Mi4i smartphone. However, it’s still a mysterious for pricing.
The current 16GB Mi4i model does not support microSD card slot and let only 13GB accessible for users. The launche of 32GB Mi4i will come together with the previous statement of the company’s Vice President Hugo Barra, which is planning to enhance the internal limit storage of Mi4i.
This launch of coming product is also for celebrating the Xiaomi brand one year in the Indian market on July 22.
Both of the two devices Xiaomi Mi4 and Mi4i lack 32GB variants. So, it’s predicted that the 32GB versions will bring out to the market soon. It’s make all of us curious for the Xiaomi’s plan, but logically thinking it can be the 32GB version of the Xiaomi Mi4i.
By the way, this mystery will be showed out not so far. As the schedule on July 22, 2015, we will all witness the coming new device!
Antutu Benchmark is quite common in evaluating how well a smartphone performs. Therefore, whenever there is a new device introduced, most people would ask about OnePlus Two Antutu points. The higher scores a phone can get, the better it is. Still, the numbers and reality are two different things, so we can take the Antutu points as a reference, not everything about what the machine can do.
This time, we’ve got the first Antutu scores of the most anticipated flagship in the H2 of 2015: OnePlus Two. However, it turned out to be a bit lower than what we expected. Is it a bad sign for a start?
It is not strange anymore to see a Chinese phone get over 50,000 Antutu points. Yet, previously, most phone consumers in general as well as OnePlus fans in particular hoped that the next OnePlus flagship would show something outstanding, something that could beat other upcoming flagships. Nonetheless, in fact, it was just able to score 51,460 Antutu points to be specific, just a bit higher than 51,011 Antutu points scored by OnePlus One.
As we know, OnePlus 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 810 new generation chip without overheating issue, and equipped with 4GB RAM which is the biggest one on the market nowadays. It seems like OnePlus team has given it almost TOP features at the moment, but to be honest, 51,460 is not really impressive. Does it also mean OnePlus Two would not perform well when it reaches consumers’ hands?
Some people think that it is because of the processor, but if Snapdragon 810 is the problem, how can we explain for the case of Xiaomi Mi Note Pro? It uses SD810 and scores over 60,000.
SENCOND TIME:
After the low Antutu scores of OnePlus Two were revealed, lately the second number has been spotted. It is also the same OnePlus 2 A2001 model but with over 63,700 points, even higher than the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro scores we mentioned above! This shows a powerful smartphone that most people are waiting for. Nevertheless, is it the final scores for OnePlus Two? If yes, that would be awesome!
There are only a few days before the OnePlus Two launch date. Everything will be clear! So, stay tuned!

The e-SIM cards will appear, and traditional SIM cards will no longer exist? The two companies Apple and Samsung are in discussion with mobile carriers with the purpose to create virtual SIM.
Then, users may no longer need to swap the SIMs to switch phones, all they have to do is just interface on the device. This will be easier for the end users. This e-SIM, unlike traditional SIM cards, will allow smartphone, tablet or smartwatch users to switch the SIM freely between networks.
GSMA CEO, Anne Bouverot, states in the report,”We have got everyone one one point, with Apple and Samsung agreeing to be part of that specification. We have been working with them and others to create an industry solution for machines and will agree a solution for consumer electronics.”
Operators expected to give their backing to the initiative include AT&T, Deutsche Telekom, Etisalat, Hutchison Whampoa, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone.
As we can see that this is the remarkable step of Apple and Samsung to create the dominant change in recent technology generation. It can be seen that virtual SIM can make it easier for not need to switch SIMs and carriers. However, there is a concern whether current SIM card will fit on a specific phone and the upgrades seem to be built-in and unremovable.
It’s reported that the new SIM solution is unlikely to arrive in devices until 2016. Let’s wait what the two giant tech of Apple and Samsung brand will bring to us. Hoping this will be the promising and optimistic mark for technology users.

Two of the most expected flagships in this H2 of 2015: Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge Plus, are about to take off. We are glad to be informed that they will be released earlier than the time planned which has been said to be at IFA – the world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, in Berlin in September.
According to many news sources, Note 5 and S6 edge Plus will be announced on August 12 and available on sale around the end of the month. This can be a Samsung‘s strategy to start early sales of their new flagship smartphones in order to avoid a hard competition with Apple iPhone 6S as well as other potential candidates.
Specifically, both Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge Plus have just passed certification in Singapore’s IDA database where the Note 5’s number is SM-N920I and S6 edge Plus’s is SM-G928I. The info also makes it clear that the rumor of a Samsung Galaxy Note edge replacement with an S-Pen will not happen at least in the Q3 of 2015.
As for design, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+ are reported to own premium glasses and metal unibodies like the current Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. It also implies that removable batteries and expandable microSD card slots will not be seen in the new machines.
As for specs, firstly, Note 5 will get a 5.67-inch 2K display and Samsung’s latest Exynos integrating octa-core processor, RAM, ROM, GPU and modem in just one unit. And of course, as what we have been heard for a long time, Note 5 will sport 4GB of LP-DDR4 RAM and a larger 4,100mAh battery than Samsung Galaxy Note 4‘s cell.
Next is the Galaxy S6 edge+. Though it was rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, recent news has mentioned that S6 edge Plus specs will be similar to Galaxy S6 and S6 edge specs. That means it will probably come with an Exynos 7420 chip and 3GB RAM. Anyhow, it will not let us down since we know the S6 has been number one on benchmark list so far.
Besides some similarities, there are differences between S6 edge+ and S6 edge to note. The screen size of the Plus version is going to be bigger, about 5.3-5.4 inches, and so is the battery, up to 3,000mAh.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge
So, if those new handsets have appeared in Singaporean database, we predict that Malaysia will soon get confirmation for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge Plus launch here. Moreover, Malaysia is also a key market for Samsung, so it is likely that Malaysia consumers can see both devices in early September.
There has been a fast growing speed in the mobile market of India recently. However, there still exists some works that need to be implied. For instance, the 4G LTE connectivity is one of the features that some devices haven’t reached. Then, Microsoft has started to update its Lumia gets 4G LTE capability.
It’s said that new 4G-enabling software update rolling out to select Microsoft Lumia devices in India. It will make the 4G services to be available on many Lumia handsets in the region of India, where 4G LTE networks are not very popular. It is to be noted that this update only supports FDD-LTE (1,800 MHz) band but not the TDD-LTE (2,300 MHz) band.
OTA update will simply enable those features on a software level and unlocking the phone to its actual potential. There is no official list of eligible devices has been updated yer, somehow, many users has announced that they have recieved the services. Up to now, those handsets are :
If you are in India and own one of these devices that received the update, then make sure to check the mobile network setting to use the 4G connectivity. While it is still not known yet, some phones may get the OTA in coming weeks. Beside, oweners of Microsoft Lumia 1020, Lumia 735 and Lumia 640 , Lumia 640 XL can also check the devices for new OTA notification.
Recently, ZTE has launched the new premium device, the device is no longer from the Nubia series. Instead, it’s called ZTE Axon and was made mostly in the US market. This is totally the new coming brand!
The Axon has the similar design style to HTC Desire or HTC One X in the early period, though it is covered by a premium metallic body in Ion Gold, Chromium Silver and Phthalo Blue.
ZTE Axon phone has the 5.5-inch QHD LCD touch screen, it runs Android 5.15.1, boasting 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 510 SoC. The smartphone is equiped with the 3,000 mAh removable battery with the ability to charge fastly. Moreover, it has the 4G LTEThe device supports 4GB of RAM, 32GB unexpandable internal storage..
Especially, sharing the same techinical feature like HTC One (M8), Axon has combo camera, including 13MP and 2MP snappers, along with dual-LED flash and 4K video capture and a 8 megapixel selfie in the front side.
The Axon unclocked will be on sale with the price of $499.98 (without tax), which is approximately RM1,903.
