Now we should forget all the rumors we’ve heard before. It is time for the Meizu MX5 official specs and facts to be unveiled!

As we know, Meizu MX5 is the successor of the MX4 and MX4 Pro, and of course, it will continue the Meizu history with a new chapter from June 30, 2015. Let’s start with all facts about Meizu MX5 that were introduced in the launch:

1. Meizu MX5 owns a 5,5-inch Super AMOLED display.

2. Meizu MX5 supports dual SIM.

3. Mediatek Helio X10 processor is in charge of powering the handset, paired with 3GB RAM.

4. Meizu MX5 boasts a 3,150mAh battery, charged up to 50% in just 30 minutes.

5. The whole machine dresses a full alloy body and measures 7.6 mm of thickness and 149 grams.

6. There is a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with laser focus and a dual-tone flash. For the front surface, the MX5 goes with a 5-megapixel snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.

7. The Meizu MX5 comes with Flyme OS 4.5 based on Android Lollipop!

8. Eventually, Meizu MX5 price is the main concern of most of us. Its remains the same as the Meizu MX4. The Meizu MX5 16GB version is priced at 1,799 Yuan ($290 and RM1,095 as the Meizu MX5 price in Malaysia), 32GB 1,999 Yuan ($320 or RM1,216) and 64GB 2,399 Yuan ($386 or RM1,460).

In conclusion, MX5 is finally released. This device also got very high AnTuTu score, over 53,000 points to be specific. Some pictures and videos showing real Huawei Honor 7 have been seen on the internet right before the official Huawei Honor 7 launch event happening today, June 30, 2015. Let’s take a look at them:

Those pictures reveal an elegant Honor 7 with premium alloy body. There is also a fingerprint sensor built on the back of the machine. Other than that, we have to admit that despite seeing many leaked images of Honor 7 before, we are a bit amazed by the real look of the smartphone. If this is coming with a good price also, it is definitely a big competitor on the mobile market since Huawei Honor 7 Specs are already awesome.

Quick review of Huawei Honor 7 Specs:

The device is said to own a 5-inch Full HD screen and Huawei’s own Kirin 935 processor. A 3,280mAh battery will be in charge to power the whole machine. As for the camera, there will be a 16-megapixel rear cam with autofocus and optical image stabilization. Besides, Huawei Honor 7 will be running Emotion UI 3.1 on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Besides, there is information saying that Huawei Honor 7 will come with two variants: low-end version with round corners, metal frame, 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM, and high-end ver with all alloy body, 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. That sounds interesting!

Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 updated news:

We heard that Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 was going to be launched on June 29, but the only thing we got was another leaked photo of the Redmi Note 2. So, there is a high possibility that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 launch will take place on July 15, 2015 as what is planned on the Xiaomi’s roadmap 2015, along with its sibling Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro.

However, they also hinted that something ‘jaw-dropping’ would happen today, June 30, 2015, for Xiaomi fans. As the post stated that it is ‘note-worthy’, we think of the Redmi Note 2 or the new version of Mi Note with full network support, but that’s our prediction. Xiaomi is the one to decide, right?!

Well, everything is unclear for now. Whether Redmi Note 2 will debut earlier than the fixed date on the Xiaomi’s roadmap? Whether the “Note-worthy” they mentioned is the new variant of Mi Note? Let’s wait for Xiaomi company‘s announcement today on their official social media pages.

Xiaomi Mi Note new variant which features full network support has been launched recently. Beisdes, Xiaomi Mi Note price and some other information are also leaked by a Weibo user named Zang Zhiyuan.

If what Zang Zhiyuan said is correct, the new Xiaomi Mi Note and even the Xiaomi Note Pro will support dual SIM and all 19 frequencies available in China. Those are owned by China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom. On the other hand, they include 2G, 3G, and 4G networks such as GSM (Band 2 /. 3/5/8), TD-SCDMA (Band 34/39), TD-LTE (Band 38/39/40/41), WCDMA (Band 1/2/5/8), FDD-LTE (Band 1 / 3/7) and CDMA1X & EVDO (Band BC0 and BC1). Furthermore, there will be two editions of the new Xiaomi Mi Note known as a standard and a high-end version which are priced at 2,299 Yuan (RM1,396) and 2,999 Yuan (RM1,812), respectively.

Apart from this good news, we have an even better one for Xiaomi phone consumers. On Xiaomi’s official website, there is an announcement saying that Xiaomi Mi Note price is cut down to 1,999 Yuan ($322 or RM1,215) for the popular Xiaomi Mi Note 16GB version and the special Xiaomi Ni Note Bamboo Edition.

Though, there is one thing you should note is that you will need a voucher to purchase a Mi Note for 300 Yuan less. Once you have the voucher, you will be able to redeem it from 6-13 July, 2015. Yet, many people predict that Xiaomi company will also keep the new price afterwards.

We think that the price cut of Xiaomi Mi Note at the moment is for the release of the new Xiaomi Mi Note version used for all network support. Before wrapping up, let’s take a look at the following key features of Xiaomi Mi Note:

As we have seen the fingerprint scanner in the leaked photos of OPO 2, now OnePlus team announces that OnePlus 2 will feature the most advanced fingerprint scanner in the world.

The latest and the most advanced FC the mentioned is said to be even faster than Apple’s TouchID. Just one quick tap will lead phone users right to the home screen and they can program up to 5 fingers. On the other hand, Qualcomm has introduced Sense ID with 3D fingerprint tech to be built on the latest Snapdragon 810 and SD425 processors. So, we cannot ignore the possibility that OnePlus 2 will use the Sense ID for its fingerprint scanner. If that’s the case, will it make OPO 2 the first smartphone to have such tech? Two first real pictures of OnePlus Two have been seen on the internet. If this is authentic, its design is somehow similar to the predecessor OnePlus One and OPO 2 will sport a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera. Anyhow, that’s also what we have predicted, right?!

Another leaked image of OPO 2 has been spotted, but this time, it’s leaked in a sketch. Of course, it is a picture edited with sketch-effect filter maybe in order to make the phone still a mystery but give some hints of its design at the same time.

So, we can see that it’s kind of different from what we saw in the company’s photography campaign. It is predicted to boast a screen from 5.5″ to 5.7″ and a thickness from 5mm to 6mm. If we base on the current model OnePlus One with 5.5-inch FHD display, we can imagine how large the OPO 2 can be. Anyhow, there’s no official words made for the phone’s screen size as well as resolution.

One more important thing is that OnePlus team has finally confirmed OnePlus Two launch date to be on July 27, 2015 at 7 P.M. PT (10 P.M. ET) and people can watch the event in virtual reality. In other words, the viewers are enabled to “look around as [they] check out the phone in a new way and maybe even find a few hidden Easter eggs.”

“For the OnePlus 2 launch, we didn’t want that barrier between us and you; we want to invite you into our world, because you’re a major part of it. We are very close to June 30, 2015! So, what will be going in on that day?

Both Huawei and Meizu are going to officially launch their new flagship phones: Huawei Honor 7 and Meizu MX5. We are really looking forward to see them in person though there are a lot of rumors as well as renders spreading these days.

To quickly recap on those strong competitors, let’s look at the new Honor and Meizu in terms of specs and design:

Huawei Honor 7 Specs:

The device is said to own a 5-inch Full HD screen paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB of storage. Huawei’s own Kirin 935 processor and 3,280mAh battery will be in charge to power the whole machine. As for the camera, there will be a 13-megapixel rear cam with autofocus and optical image stabilization. Besides, Huawei Honor 7 will be running Emotion UI 3.1 on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop. Still, there are some more features that have not been unveiled.

Meizu MX5 Specs:

According to recent leaks, Meizu MX5 is going to have a full alloy cover, boasting a 5.5-inch 1080p display, which will write its name in the list of the best phablets in 2015. Besides, as we have mentioned in the previous posts, the new handset will own a 3,150mAh battery, updated Turbo version of the 2.3Ghz Mediatek MT6795T octa-core processor and a 20MP primary camera. The whole phone will run on FlymeOS 4.5 on top of Android Lollipop. Also, there could be space for a 128GB SD card and a fingerprint scanner to be on board.

But, lately, Xiaomi‘ President, Mr. Lin Bin, has announced that they will also have something special for June 30, 2015. What a day!

Previously, people expected that Xiaomi would release a new Xiaomi Mi Note Pro variant before 30 June. However, through the picture of Mr. Lin Bin on his Weibo, he, wearing a Brazilian soccer uniform, claims that Xiaomi will bring a surprise for everyone on June 30.

So, this is the first time we have heard about the plan. So, mysterious! Will it be related to Brazil? Or will it be the variant of Xiaomi Mi Note Pro with Brazilian style?

All the questions will be answered on June 30, 2015. Can’t wait!
