Well, it has been a while since Meizu released the latest smartphone, right?! Therefore, now we are quite excited when being informed that a new Meizu product will come and it is called Meizu Pro 6…

Of course, Meizu Pro 6 is the successor to Meizu Pro 5, which was the champion of the Antutu benchmark list in the third quarter of 2015. As a result, we bet it is going to be much more fantastic than its predecessor in terms of design and specifications. And also, we have to note that the 6 will be the second member of the “premium” line-up Pro of Meizu. Perhaps it will even sport a 6-inch screen just like the name. Who knows?!

Actually, at the moment, there is not much information related to this flagship. However, some reliable news sources has leaked that the Pro 6 has already been in the works, which means Meizu Pro 6 launch will probably occur in the second quarter of 2016. Accordingly, Meizu Pro 6 specs will include a the next-gen Exynos 8870 SoC chip made by Samsung which is considered as “a knocked-down version” of Exynos octa-core 8890 processor.

We can feel Meizu really wants to produce a strong premium series in general and a strong premium handset in particular to compete with many high-end machines on the market now. Nonetheless, we should wait a bit more for the company’s official confirmation of the Pro 6’s features, then decide whether it is the winner of the battle or not.

Xiaomi is really a versatile company since they have been trying producing many things like TV, smartphone, camera, laptop, and of course tablet. The latest Xiaomi tablet is Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 and it has just done something amazing…

After releasing Xiaomi Mi Pad last year and receiving positive feedback, the company has decided to continue this sub-brand by introducing Mi Pad 2. As you know, Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 specs include 16GB ROM, 2GB RAM, Android or Windows 10 OS (optional), a 7.9-inch screen with 1536 X 2048 pixels, an Intel Atom X5-Z8500 2.24GHz chip and a 6,190mAh battery. So, that is the original Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. We say “original” because lately, the firm has sell a new variant of the Pad 2 with up to 64GB ROM. And you know what? However, if we think more carefully, it can be understood since Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 design and hardware are excellent while its prices are super affordable.

If the situation has to be explained, here are three possible reasons. The original Pad 2 with 16GB is just not enough for users to store or download what they want. Secondly, the larger memory option is not priced much higher than the 16GB. Last but not least, we assume the additional Windows 10 option is somehow able to attract those who like this OS.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 was released not long ago. The 16GB version running Android OS costs 999 Yuan (approximately $156). The new 64GB ver running either Android or Windows 10 is very affordable at 1,299 Yuan ($203). Well, it seems to be becoming one of the hottest Xiaomi products of the year. Don’t you think?

Samsung produces 5 millions Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in their initial production!

Lately, South Korea’s Electronic Times has reported that Samsung will go with 5 million units of their upcoming smartphones Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in the initial production. This is kind of a great number, also showing the company is very confident that their products will attract a lot of people. Specifically, there will be 3.3 million Galaxy S7 handsets and 1.6 million S7 edge ones.

However, it is important to note that the flagships will not be completely new  models. In other words, they are simply upgraded and improved versions of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, which reminds us of the way Apple has been doing with their iPhones. If a few days ago we just got some leaks related to HTC One X9 specs, now we know what it really has from the official HTC One X9 launch.

HTC One X9 owns a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 2TB via microSD card). Besides, the whole handset is run by a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) octa-core chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, PowerVR G6200 GPU, a dual SIM, Sense 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, and a 3,000mAh battery. Wow, those are great features for a smartphone, promising to bring you fantastic using experience.

New Sony Xperia Z6 design: Gorgeous enough?

Needless to say, Sony has to change more in 2016 if they want to stand out among a lot of smartphone manufacturers at the moment. One of the main factors that can help them do it is phone design.
