As we know, ZTE has a premium sub-brand called Nubia. Its members are really beautiful and strong smartphones many people desire. And in the near future, we all will welcome 2 handsets belonging to this Nubia series. They are Nubia Z11 and Nubia X8. A few live photos of these devices have showed up and we can say they will not let you down. There are still some familiar features in terms of design such as the curve in the display and the signature red circle on the home button.

As for the Z11, it looks extremely slim and probably sports an arching glass on the back, which reminds us of Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Spec-wise, the machine is said to boast a 5.2-inch 2K display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, and 4GB of RAM. Those are top specifications for smartphones nowadays, but the true highlight in ZTE Nubia Z11 specs is its dual camera setup. The main one will be capable of 21 megapixels while the second cam is maybe for assisting in depth sensing.

About ZTE Nubia X8, it has been rumored for quite a long time, but we guess now the phone is really coming. ZTE Nubia X8 will be likely to include a big 6.44-inch screen, a Snapdragon 820 processor, and a huge 4,500mAh battery. Other features have not been unveiled yet. But, with such info about the X8, we feel that it’s gonna be a gorgeous phablet on the market in 2016.

Though some pictures were spotted, the company has not confirmed anything yet. However, they released a teaser for a ZTE event occurring on January 18, 2016. In 2015, Sony caused many discussions of their Sony Xperia Z5 Premium‘s 2160 x 3840 pixels screen. And we could not deny that it was the only 4K handset in the world… in 2015. Yes, this year, the Premium will no longer be the “only one” since Vivo will release a phone equipped with the same resolution, which obviously makes Premium lose its exclusive place. This Vivo’s product  is called Vivo Xplay 5S, considered as Vivo Xplay 3S launched in 2013.

Furthermore, according to the source we have, Vivo Xplay 5S release date is near because not long ago, a live photo of the 5S was leaked and more details about the device has been unveiled lately. Specifically speaking, the well-known analyst Pan Jiu Tang said that Vivo Xplay 5S specs would include a 6-inch 4K screen, a Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a set of a 12MP selfie camera and a 21MP rear shooter. Wow, that’s just… AMAZING!

Design-wise, looking at the pic, we’re sure that it will come with an all-alloy build. Additionally, the 5S is assumed to sport a thickness ranging from 7.2 to 7.6 mm. On the back, there is a fingerprint scanner, a camera and a dual LED flash. Overall, it seems a beautiful and strong machine which is worth the wait.

Vivo Xplay 5S price and availability

Though the company has not officially announced the Vivo Xplay 5S launch date, many sources claimed it would be some day in late February, which is also the time when MWC 2016 will occur. As for the price, if Vivo Xplay 5S costs around $650, we will not feel very surprised. How about you?

Sony did not show up at CES 2016. Hopefully they are preparing something special for consumers. Something like… Sony Xperia C1, for example!

Beside the flagship Sony Xperia Z series, Sony also has other pretty awesome ones like Sony Xperia C. Lately, we have been able to spot a smartphone which will probably be the next member of the series and a potentially successful one as well. It is called Sony Xperia C1, designed by the designer Daniele Enoletto. The handset looks beautiful and maybe… weird a bit, but in an interesting way, right?!

Speaking specifically, the machine has very slim bezels with a metal build. Besides, it also looks angular but with some nice twists and curvature along the bottom edge of the device. It packs a new Home button and seems to have a new user interface on top. So, that’s all for design. How about Sony Xperia C1 specs? Unfortunately, the designer did not provide detailed information related to the handset’s hardware. But…

Yes, that cannot stop us hoping Sony will equip the phone with great features like what they did to their previous products. It is likely to sport  a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, a Mediatek MT6752 chip, 3GB RAM, and a set of fantastic 13MP rear and 13MP front-facing camera. Additionally, the C1 will be run by a decent 3,000mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Well, an ideal package of specs, huh?!

2015 was a great year for Huawei when they released many powerful and beautiful smartphones and increased their sale in total. According to recent news, Huawei has been preparing a plan to take over the place of either Apple or Samsung by the end of 2018 and CEO Richard Yu claimed this when presenting at CES 2016. The company is being the third biggest one in the world, but now they are aiming at being the second one, which is possible as Mr. Yu demonstrated that Huawei was able to post a 70% increase in revenue year on year, so they could continue doing it or even more.

At the moment, Huawei is having a 76% brand awareness, which means people can easily recognize the brand more nowadays. 76% is an awesome number if compared to their 3% in 2011. Besides, people also become better at pronouncing “Huawei”. We guess Mr. Yu did not know this. Anyhow, congratulate Huawei on what you’ve got so far!

Sony Xperia C6: A handier selfie-centric smartphone…

Many people as well as Sony fans were kind of… sad when Sony did not show up at CES 2016 with new products. However, this somehow makes the theory that Sony will do something real big at the upcoming MWC 2016 even more possible. Besides the next flagship Sony Xperia Z6, we also expect other fantastic handsets from the company just like what they released in 2015, including the selfie-centric phone Sony Xperia C5 Ultra.

Lately, we have seen a handset appearing on the internet and it is considered as the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra’s successor but with a smaller size, so that they call it Sony Xperia C6 only, without “Ultra”. Looking at the pictures, we can recognize not only some familiar Sony design trademarks but also a great edge-to-edge display, pretty much like the C5 Ultra with 6.0-inch FHD screen. Nonetheless, we guess because of sporting 5.5-inch Full HD screen, it cannot be named Sony Xperia C6 Ultra.

Besides the display, we heard that Sony Xperia C6 specs would probably contain an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 2.0GHz chip, which is absolutely stronger than the C5 Ultra’s Mediatek MT6752 processor. And hopefully, C6 will still keep the gorgeous 13MP selfie camera to make it outstanding from other smartphones on the market.

As we mentioned, Sony missed a chance to impress people at CES 2016, so they’d better prepare well for MWC 2016. Sony Xperia C6 seems a pretty good device and hope that it will come to MWC 2016 with a bigger sibling called C6 Ultra. As for the price, C6 can cost around $380 once going on sale. Yes, it’s been a long time since Meizu released a new smartphone, but now we’d better be preparing for their next flagship called Meizu MX6. Obviously, it is the successor to Meizu MX5, launched in July 2015, and will be equipped with a gorgeous design and more advanced features. Though, at the moment, there has been no leaked image showing the handset, so we cannot tell you anything about its appearance, except for the hardware.

Spec-wise, as purported by AnTuTu, Meizu MX6 specs are likely to include the super strong MediaTek Helio X20 10-core 3-cluster (2x Cortex-A72 at 2.5GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 at 2.0GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 at 1.4GHz) chip, Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. No doubt the MX6 can be the world’s first Helio X20-powered smartphone, promising to bring you great experience when using. Moreover, Meizu MX6 will probably pack a Full HD display, 32GB ROM and Android 6.0.

Well, those are such top specifications for smartphones, which even makes us more excited to look forward to the device. However, please note that there is still no official information or confirmation from the manufacturer. So, let’s wait a bit more! Hopefully more details will come in the next weeks.

2015 seemed a pretty good year for Lenovo when they released many budget smartphones such as Lenovo A7000 and A7000 Plus receiving good feedback and love from consumers. So, it is not strange at all when they want to introduce another handset belonging to the A series in early 2016. The new one is named Lenovo A7000 Turbo and will be officially introduced in India first. It’s like India will be an important market in Lenovo’s strategy this year.

Spec-wise, there will be a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, Vibe UI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB). Design-wise, we can see that it looks pretty similar to the Lenovo A7000 with a thickness of 7.99 mm. So, those who love Lenovo’s traditional design will probably fall for Turbo immediately.
