It seems like Huawei’s strategy this year is to develop their affordable sub-range Honor. We say that because they are going to introduce Huawei Honor 4A on July 21, 2015 right after Huawei Honor 7 launched in China about two weeks ago.

So, Huawei Honor 4A launch date and place have been set. It will occur on July 21 at the Beijing Galaxy Soho in China, which will also be a part of Huawei Summer Whirlwind festival from 21-23 July. Besides, a teaser of Honor 4A has been released, showing some musical instruments. That makes us think the new phone will probably have some special features for music or so. On the other, in the festival, Huawei products will be discounted also, but the number is not clear for now.

As for the Huawei Honor 4A specs and price, we have not been able to collect official info about them. However, the way they name the new Huawei reminds us of Xiaomi Redmi 2A. If it is produced to compete with the Redmi 2A, we predict that it could sport a 5-inch HD display, 1GB or 2GB RAM, 8GB of storage and an 8MP rear camera. And of course, the price would be very affordable like around 599 Yuan (RM367).

Xiaomi Mi5 & Mi5 Plus are coming!

The Mi series of Xiaomi brand is always one of the most favorite trends. Recently, Xiaomi is going to launch the Xiaomi Mi5 & Mi5 Plus. This point has attracted many notice of people. Thus, there are may leaks around these two flagship devices. The information below are some notable point of the comparision of the two machine that we have known up to now.

Design & Interface

According to some rumored sources, the two devices will come with the same feature is that their thickness. They will be just around 5.1 mm slim. Then, with the Mi5 it may have the 5.2-inch screen, with curved corners covered by a metal frame and Mi5 Plus may have a little bigger display with 5.7-inch, together with a full-metal body.

The to upcoming Mi series will have the same powered programs – Android 5.1.1 version with the MIUI skin. Moreover, the two devices have the optimized, with extensive customization options,  good-looking animations. However, follow the previous MIUI v6 program, there is a small difficulty in the translation part of some Chinese words. Although MIUI v6 has the abilities to translate English well, there still have some characters that cannot be transfered in the appropriate way. Hope that this issue can be solved in the upcoming Mi5 & Mi5 Plus with the new MIUI 7.

Inside Specifications

The Mi5 is expected to have the Quad-HD resolution display with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC. It is equiped with 3GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. In terms of the camera, there will be a 16MP for main camera and 13MP front-facing camera. It is packed with a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging ability, 30% in 5 mins and 100% in 40 mins.

For the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus, the phablet also has the Quad – HD resolution incorporates Qualcomm’s next-generation. It comes with the higher mega-pixels camera comparing to Mi5, 24 MP for the main one and 13 MP for the front one. The battery capacity can be up to 3,500 mAh. As the Mi’s brand have done with its high-end devices, the company may shop camera sensors from Sony.

The two Mi machines are expected to have the fingerprint scanner. Memory capacities of them can be between 16GB and 64GB of eMMC 5.0 storage, expandable via microSD card.

Price & Launched Date

The prices are rumored around the Mi5 can be between $371 to $386, which is listed in the high-end smartphones. Then, the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus with the powerful inside hardware, the price can come with $600. The announcement date still not be told exact. Nevertheless, they are supposed to be present to the public in the period of October and November.

We can say that last year was a great year for OnePlus. Though they just had OnePlus One as the only one product to compete with other flagships, they were still able to get much success. Therefore, this year, the second device by OnePlus has been drawing a lot of attention. When we are getting very close to the OnePlus Two launch, a rumor that we think that can be good news has been spread on the internet, saying that the OnePlus company is going to not only release the Two but also another new device.

OnePlus Company to launch TWO smartphones in late 2015!

OnePlus’s CEO – Mr. Pete Lau, once talked to Adevarul.ro, a Romanian website, about the company’s plan. He was asked if there was any chance that more than just one smartphone would be introduced this year, and the answer was YES. Besides the response, he did not clarify more anything. It seems like the OnePlus wants to surprise people and perhaps expand the company’s business more.

After that confirmation, some rumors about a possible OnePlus Mini have started to go around about a OnePlus Mini. Even the company co-founder, Mr. Carl Pei, used to claim that OnePlus would bring a gorgeous machine with special focus on aesthetics to consumers in late 2015.

Sony Lavender got leaked!

With this one, we have more detailed info. It will probably be powered by a Snapdragon 808 chipset, having a 5.8 inch FHD display. Moreover, Sony E5706 can feature 3GB RAM, a 16MP rear and an 8MP front snapper and run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Though, we still cannot identify the real names of both Sony Lavender and Sony E5706. Some rumored that the Lavender would be T4 Ultra and the E5706 be C5 Ultra. However, actually, we like “Lavender” more. So, what do you think?

Upcoming Galaxy Note 5 flagship

The Samsung brand reported to launch the next version Galaxy Note 5 toward the end of August. It was supposed that Samsung brand intend to create a big hit and beat the Apple coming device – iPhone 6 Plus, which is expected to be launched in the mid of September.

UPDATED NEWS: Xiaomi Mi Note price in Malaysia has been revealed!

Xiaomi has eventually officially released Xiaomi Mi Note in Malaysia. With 5.7-inch screen, it is a strong competitor to famous phablets like Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Xiaomi Mi Note Malaysia will be available on sale on July 28, 2015 with the retail price of RM1,549, a bit higher than what we expected. Besides, there is only White color option for now.

However, we are still glad to welcome Mi Note to Malaysia and waiting for the top product of the line: Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, equipped with a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 810 processor and 4GB LP-DDR4 RAM.
