LG G4 Malaysia is found in SIRIM’s database!
The LG G4 has been spotted in SIRIM’s database recently, possibly signalling its arrival on the Malaysian mobile market this year.
If this comes true, you will not have to purchase this machine through any other unofficial channels and can get official warranties by LG Malaysia.
LG G4 Malaysia Specs:
LG G4 owns a 5.5″ Quad HD display, enhanced with brightness and contrast ratio with its Advanced In-Cell Touch tech. LG did not use Snapdragon 810 for the G4, maybe because they thought it could cause overheating issue for the phone like other SN810 devices. Instead of 810, the manufacturer uses a Hexa Core Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB RAM to power LG G4. Besides, there is 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card.
In terms of taking photos, it has a super cool combo of a 16MP f/1.8 rear cam with Optical Image Stabilisation and a higher resolution 8MP f/2.0 front shooter. We bet that selfie lovers would be totally satisfied with this feature. The whole handset is run by a 3,000mAh removable battery supporting fast charging and wireless charging and Android 5.1 Lollipop with LG’s UX 4.0 interface.

LG G4 Malaysia Price:
In the U.S., the phone is offered at $630, so we think that LG G4 price in Malaysia can be set around RM2,300. That is pretty much hefty but since there is no official announcement from the LG Malaysia, so we should wait for the final decision.
What would you say for LG G4 specs and price? Anyway, welcome to Malaysia, LG G4!

Elephone P9000: 4GB RAM and newest Helio X20 10-Core to launch in October
After the success of Elephone P7000 and P8000, Elephone is likely to introduce the next strong competitor in the future named Elephone P9000.
Elephone recently has updated about this new machine on their official website, mentioning that the Elephone P9000 will be one of the most powerful smartphones consumers can get. The most important selling key for P9000 is the new 10-core Helio X20 MT6797 processor built inside.
According to Mediatek, Helio X20 will be launched in Q3 2015 while Elephone P9000 will be released around October, 2015. On the other hand, Q3 also will see many launches of flagship phones as well as great devices, so we cannot tell what will be the very first handset sporting Helio X20 to meet the public. Perhaps it can be the Elephone P9000.
Elephone P9000 Specs:
Elephone P9000 is said to own a 5.5-inch 1080p display with the powerful 4GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Photo lovers will feel satisfied with the excellent 20.7MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. As for the battery, there is a 3,100mAh batt on board. Besides, other specs include dual SIM dual standby, FDD-LTE 4G networks and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Elephone P9000 Price:
The listing on the internet has unveiled the price tag of Elephone P9000. It seems like due to so many wonderful specs it has, the price also somehow reflects that. In fact, Elephone P9000 will probably cost around $500 as the retail price, which can be the highest price an Elephone has ever had.
If it turns out to be true, Elephone P9000 price in Malaysia will vary around RM1,875. What do you think about that? Reasonable or too expensive? Tell us your expectations!

Meizu MX5: Stronger than S6 Edge and Mi Note Pro in first Benchmarks!
As we are coming closer to the end of June, more leaked images and information of the Meizu new flagship Meizu MX5 appear on the internet. Let’s take a look at the following pictures of the successor of Meizu MX4, which can be seen on June 30 in China:
Meizu MX5 Leaks
This time, we can see what is inside the machine. If these new rumors are true, Meizu MX5 is totally made with full alloy chassis, which will make the machine look and feel premium.
We can see clearly that there would be space for a 128GB SD card and a fingerprint scanner to be on board. Many people predict that the fingerprint sensor will be built in the home button.
In addition, we estimate that the Meizu MX5 will boast a 5.5-inch 1080p display, which will write its name in the list of the best phablets in 2015. Besides, as we have mentioned in the previous posts, the new handset will own a 3,150mAh battery, updated Turbo version of the 2.3Ghz Mediatek MT6795T octa-core processor and a 20MP primary camera. The whole phone will run on FlymeOS 4.5 on top of Android Lollipop.
The bigger brother, Meizu MX5 Pro, will also be released in the near future with a 6” QHD display, using Exynos 7420 SoC chipset and remaining the 20MP camera. It’s going to be very powerful with 4GB RAM.
As for the GeekBench points, Meizu MX5 is able to get an impressive multi-core score of 5352 points. That even beats those scores of Samsung Galaxy S6 edge and Xiaomi Mi Note Pro when it comes to multi-core performance.
In terms of Meizu MX5 price, Meizu is believed to satisfy their Chinese fans by keeping the price at an affordable point. Reportedly MX5 is set at 1,799 Yuan ($290 and equivalent to RM1,085 in Malaysia). Is that what you expected to see as the Meizu MX5 price in Malaysia?
Though it has not reached the June 30 yet, Meizu MX5 leaks are still spreading around. Thanks to them, we get a general view of the Meizu Specs, Design and Price, yet just take them with a pinch of salt and wait for the official to come out!

OnePlus Two Specs will include USB Type C port!
Now we continue with the series OnePlus Two! This time, we’ll update you with a new feature of OPO 2 Specs that has just been announced. It is the USB Type C port!
LeTV might have been the first company to have Android smartphones equipped with USB Type C ports, LeTV One, LeTV One Pro and LeTV One Max to be specific. Now, it is OnePlus that takes up the trend. They claim via their social streams that OnePlus 2 will be the “first flagship smartphone to use the latest Type C USB”. Some people wonder if OnePlus is aware of the case of LeTV or they will really have some Type C USB different or they just simply imply that OnePlus 2 is the first flagship in the house to sport that feature.
So, until now, we know more about the famous flagship machine of OnePlus. A few days, we were informed of the Snapdragon 810 built in the OPO 2 and clocked down to get rid of or reduce the overheating issue. However, many people still doubt the possibility. Then, manufacturer hinted that OnePlus 2 price would be “more than US$322“, which means OnePlus Two price in Malaysia can be up to RM1,205, not really a price tag most consumers have expected.
Nonetheless, it is not the end yet. We have to see it to believe it, right?! Just take what we have heard so far with a pinch of salt. OnePlus One was outstanding last year, so the company would try their best to make the OnePlus 2 outstanding again or even more.
Stay tuned for more updated details!

Sony Xperia Z3 Plus Malaysia can be purchased now
Though Sony Xperia Z3 Plus (the international version of the Japanese Sony Xperia Z4) has not been launched officially in Malaysia yet, DirectD is coming up with Sony Xperia Z3 Plus (imported) with either single SIM or dual SIM versions.
To be specifically, Sony Xperia Z3+ price in Malaysia is set at RM2,599, quite similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9+ sold officially in Malaysia. If choosing the Xperia Z3+ dual SIM, you may have to spend RM100 more, which makes the phone’s price RM2,699. One thing that should be mentioned is that because it will be imported, so you cannot have the official warranty from Sony Malaysia, but don’t worry. You will have 2-year warranty from DirectD.
In terms of design, Z3+ looks the same as the current Xperia Z3, yet if looking closer, Z3 Plus is actually slimmer with the thickness of 6.9mm and lighter at 144 grams. More than that, there is a cap-less microUSB port, which helps the phone to be charged without removing flap cover. Like its predecessor, Sony Xperia Z3 Plus still waterproof at IP68 rating. It means that the machine can be submerged under 1.5 meters of fresh water in up to 30 minutes.
For the Sony Xperia Z3 Plus Malaysia Specs, it owns a 5.2″ Full HD, Qualcomm 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor paired with 3GB RAM. There is 32GB of expandable storage. The camera combo includes a 20.7MP Exmor RS sensor with f/2.0 lens and a 5MP front shooter. The whole handset is powered by a 3,100mAh battery, enabling it to last for 2 days per charge. Besides, it is equipped with quick charge feature, so you can get a full day of use after just 45 min of charging.
To recap, if you are looking for a Sony smartphone with slim design, more than 1 day battery life, waterproof ability and gorgeous camera, you can take Sony Xperia Z3 Plus Malaysia in consideration.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 round-up: What have we got so far?
This year, Samsung has two flagship smartphones to compete with many mobile brands on the market. They are Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. As for S6, it has gone on sale and claimed the 2015 Android flagship crown for modern looks and newest hardware. And in the next months, Samsung will release the Galaxy Note 5 that we have been taking about a lot recently.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Design: Mysterious but worth waiting
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Round-up
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is considered as “Project Noble” internally. Based on the rumors and Samsung’s tradition, it is expected that Galaxy Note 5 and Note 5 edge will take after Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. In general, Note 5 is said to be slim at 7.9mm, not the slimmest one but really good when it comes to a device packing good specs and a large battery.
Furthermore, the Note 5 is rumored to be one of the first devices to ship with the new USB Type-C connector that will let you stream 4K videos without a hitch.
Along with the handset, there will be a new pop-up S-Pen. Samsung has patented a mechanism that can not only automatically slot the S-Pen out of its silo by voice or gesture command but also keep the pend locked safe at bay.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Display: 2K or 4K resolution, which is better?
Many consumers predict and expect that Galaxy Note 5 will be available with ultra-high resolution (4K). With this rumor, we cannot be sure of that since most of the industry is still hesitating even about jumping from 1080p to 2K. So, is it really necessary for a phone with some inches, not as large as a TV to see the differences between FHD and 2K resolution?
Moreover, making a 4K display phone can increase the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 price, which has been predicted to be quite high already. In fact, to be honest, for a phablet like Note 5, we think 2K could be the best choice.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Processor: Special chip for special phone
Reportedly, they are testing Galaxy Note 5 with an Exynos 7422 chip. The special thing about this chip is that it includes all components inside itself. It utilizes its own ePoP (embedded package on package) production method, fitting 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage in a 225 square mm chip. Basically, this helps decrease the total semiconductor area and set more place for more interesting things, say, as larger battery?!
Talking about batt, we hope that Note 5 will get at least 4,100mAh battery capacity, which will enable the machine to work longer than 24 hours.
Back to the Exynos 7422, Samsung may sport CPU, GPU, DRAM, storage, and its homebrew LTE modem all together. Seems like this chip is an ambitious one! However, there is another source saying that Note 5 edge will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC, which gets the job done in up to 90% of use cases. Nonetheless, it lacks LPDDR4 RAM support and gets limited graphics performance, so whether it will be used for Note 5 edge is still a mystery.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Camera: Best combo cam
A 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP front-facing shooter are likely to be put in charge. Photo lovers may want to take this guy into consideration.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Launch Date: If not July, then when?
Samsung Mobile CEO J.K. Shin has confirmed that the rumors of a July launch cannot come true, but he also did not deny the possibility of a Note 5 launch before the annual trade show IFA in Berlin in September. Therefore, Note 5 could make its debut at a big conference and then go on sale around the end of the year.
So, those are pieces of information we collected until now. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is getting hot than ever, right before it comes to the market. Will our expectations become true? Stay tuned! We’ll keep you updated.
Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus – Fantastic Phones to come
Before this news, we know that Xiaomi is preparing for the debut of new flagship machines which are considered as Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiaomi Mi5 Plus. In our point of view, Mi5 could be an upgraded version of Xiaomi Mi4 with a bigger screen and more powerful specs.
Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus are coming!
In terms of Mi5 Specs, it is said that Mi5 screen has been improved compared to Mi4, specifically from 5 inches to 5.2 inches for Mi5 and 6 inches for Mi5 Plus. Besides, rumors also mention that Xiaomi Mi5 display will come with 1080p resolution while the Plus version will feature 2K. In addition to 2K, Mi5 Plus will be designed as a borderless smartphone. On the other hand, some sources claim that Xiaomi Mi5 Plus should be coming with Snapdragon 820 processor and supporting fingerprint scanner. Other fantastic specs of Mi5 Plus include 4GB RAM, 16MP rear camera. If the design is good and the specs turns out to be what we have heard so far, Mi5 Plus would be a real phone killer.
However, with such design and specs, Mi5 Plus is likely to be priced at more than two thousand yuan. If you remember the latest high-end device of Xiaomi which is Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, it is priced at 2,999 Yuan (RM1,811), so we predict that Mi5 duo could range around RM1,850. But, before Xiaomi company speaks their mind, we still hope both of the flagship would come with reasonable prices.
So, is that the Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus price in Malaysia you want? If not, what’s your prediction?
