This September, Apple introduced their latest phones: iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. One of the most controversial specs of these phones is the headphone jack. The company decided to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack to make the phone thinner and waterproof. Now, it seems that HTC will follow Apple’s step to add no headset jack to their new phone- HTC Bolt.

Last month, Bolt renders had shown up online. At the first look, this phone resembles the flagship HTC 10. The phone has an all-in-one metal design with two antenna lines on the top and bottom of the rear panel. On the front, there will be a fingerprint scanner. Not only are HTC Bolt renders leaked, some of its specs also spotted online.

According to some sources, the phone will come with a 5.5-inch screen with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 px (Full HD). It will pack 3GB RAM paired with 64GB of expandable storage. One of the most impressive HTC Bolt specs is its 18MP primary camera with f/2.0, dual LED flash, and 4K video recording. On the front, you’ll also find an 8MP shooter. In addition, this HTC new handset will feature a USB Type-C, BoomSound audio technology, and a single speaker. It could run on Android  Nougat OS.

The explosion made the phone split into two pieces. Unluckily, the owner was injured on the face and hands. It is reported that the incident occurred last week. After that, Chinese press posted share the story over the Internet. In response to the unwanted incident, Apple’s representative in China also reported the situation back to the head office.

Until now, representative of Apple in China has yet to make any announcement about the problem and solution. Therefore, we don’t know the reason of the explosion and how Apple will deal with the incident. However, such breaking news somehow will affect the reputation of the company. It seems that smartphones nowadays are no longer safe for users, even when they are made by big brands. After the Samsung scandal with Galaxy Note 7 explosions, Apple could very well be next in line. From the report of ABC30, an iPhone 6 Plus exploded while it was charging. This iPhone belongs to a woman named Yvette, who is living in Fresno, California. As Yvette said, her iPhone suddenly exploded while she was sleeping. The explosion created a big noise and wake Yvette up at around 3AM.

According to Yvette, she bought the iPhone 6 Plus at an Apple retailer three months ago, with full accessories from Apple. The woman also confirmed that she charged her phone with the correct adapter. She called Apple on the next day to announce the incident. After that, Yvette received the replacement product from the local Apple store. Although the explosion didn’t hurt the woman, her Apple Watch and some furniture such as tables and glasses were damaged.

Noticeably, there was another case of iPhone 6 Plus exploding happening just recently. Earlier in September, another iPhone 6 Plus exploded suddenly in the back pocket of Hlavaty – a college student. In both incidents, the fire is reported to come from the battery.

It only stands behind SND 820 on the Antutu benchmark. Now, A10 Fusion is even stronger with 40% faster performance.
