We haven’t heard anything from LeEco for a while now. This is most likely due to their financial trouble. But just like any Android manufacturers, their leaks still keep coming out. Now they finally brake the silence with their newest phone, the LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite. It is a variant of last year’s Le Pro 3. However, don’t let the title confuses you. This is not a new phone or even an update model of the Le Pro 3. The Snapdragon 821 has been replaced with a Snapdragon 820. One more feature also missing from this phone is NFC.

As for LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite other specs, it comes with a 5.5″ LCD Full HD panel. The phone is powered by the quad-core Snapdragon 820, along with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the back of the phone, you can find a 16MP f/2.0 main camera. Meanwhile, the selfie snapper uses a 76.5-degree wide-angle lens with 8MP resolution and f/2.2 aperture. The plus side is it comes with a large 4070mAh battery. You’ll also get 3 months of free subscription to LeEco’s streaming service with the phone.

In terms of connectivity, the LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite supports 4G LTE (with support for bands in India), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth v4.2, apart from USB Type-C. The smartphone measures 151.4 x 73.9 x 7.5mm, and weighs 175 grams.

LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite: price and availability

LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite is already available at lemall.com with a price tag of CNY 1699 ~ $245. It seems that the downgrade processor and the lack of NFC help reduce the price by $30 from the original Le Pro 3.

In the sea of devices at MWC this year, the Darling really stands out for its design and weirdness. Being called the world’s first “VR mobile phone”, the Darling has an extremely unique design with its built-in 360-degree “VR” camera. The phone is unusually long because of the fisheye lenses on top. It’s coated in pure gold and has four diamonds below the front fisheye camera.

The phone uses a 5.5″ FHD resolution display, a Helio X20 2.5GHz deca-core processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. In term of Protruly Darling cameras, it has four in total, which means two on each side.Beside the dual 13MP fisheye lenses on the back and front, there are also a 13MP main shooter and an 8MP front snapper. The 360-degree fisheye cameras are the most bizarre things on this phone. Just toggle the VR camera mode within the default camera app to take pictures or videos. The results look comparable to what you’d get from a budget 360-camera.

The phone runs on a customized version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also has a headphone jack, USB-C port and fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button. However, there’s another model without gold/diamond jewels and has a fingerprint sensor on the back instead.

The Protruly Darling is indeed a strange phone. It’s like a Frankenstein device that no major smartphone maker like Apple or Samsung would ever try making. Despite all of that, we have to give credit to Shenzhen Darling Intelligence Technology, Co., LTD for trying. If you want to own this monster, prepare to pay $800 ~ RM. 3560 for the one with jewels or $500 ~ RM. 2225 for the other version.

According to the rumor, it seems like Xiaomi is going to opt for a “Standard”, “Prime edition”, “Pro edition” tier system again. However, this time resolution would be the difference, not RAM. The source claims that Xiaomi Mi 6 will come in two variants: one with 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, accompany by a Full HD display panel, while the other variant will come with 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and a 2K display. Different storage options sound perfectly reasonable and have been done before by many brands. However, using 2 display resolution for one device is a little uncommon and may result in confusion for buyer.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is also said to have 4GB RAM, so opting for this amount should help Xiaomi Mi 6 to compete with the bigger brands. There were rumors claimed that Mi 6 would come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chip, which is also the same processor used on Galaxy S8. However, there were other contradicting leaks about the device’s CPU so take this with a grain of salt. As for Xiaomi Mi 6 cameras, the flagship is said to use a Sony IMX386 sensor for its main 12MP shooter and borrow the Sony IMX268 8MP selfies setup from the Mi Note 2.

Some other interesting features of the phone include a 5.15″ IPS LCD display, Bluetooth v5 and USB Type-C port. Okie, here is our first member and it’s gonna make you feel excited: Nokia 6. It was unveiled not long ago and has just gone on sale recently with $245 as the Nokia 6 price. And you know what?! The handset was going out of stock in just a minute. Wow! People still fall for Nokia, huh?!

No. 3 is a Xiaomi smartphone called Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. It has just appeared on TENAA lately with some specific information about its hardware. Accordingly, the machine will own 4GB of RAM coupled with 32/64GB of ROM, a Mediatek Helio X20 chip set, a package of 13MP primary snapper and a massive 4,100mAh batt. Those Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X specs are pretty good, rite?! However, we guess its design is not impressive enough, still looking a bit like Xiaomi Note 4. Anyway, let’s wait and see!

4. Coolpad Cool S1

Next is Coolpad Cool S1. Spec-wise, it packs a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD screen, a Snapdragon 821 chipset, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with EUI 5.8 on top, a big 4,070mAh battery supporting by Quick Charge 3.0, Harman Kardon sound enhancement tech, and a 16MP main + 8MP selfie shooter duo. Additionally, Coolpad Cool S1 specs offer two choices over the device’s ROM (non-expandable) and RAM capacity: 64GB + 4GB and 128GB + 6GB. But, their prices have not been revealed yet. 5. ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom ZE553KL

Here comes our ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom, a camera-centric model for those who love taking pictures. It boasts a great 13MP sensor on the front and a dual cam system on the back that still can “provide 2.3x magnification before going into digital zoom mode” like its predecessor. Continuing our list is another Xiaomi phone named Xiaomi Mi6. To be honest, because we were so impressed by the designs of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Xiaomi Mi Mix, we are really looking forward to the Mi6’s appearance. Apart from that, Xiaomi Mi6 specs are also expected to be powerful. What we know so far is that it will probably come in three variations: the first will be equipped with a Helio X30 chip and cost 1,999 Yuan ($290), the second with a Snapdragon 835 and 2,499 Yuan ($360), and the last one with a Qualcomm’s chipset, a dual-edge curved display, and 2,999 Yuan ($434). Hope that a full sheet of Xiaomi Mi6 specs will be unveiled soon.

7 + 8. HTC U Ultra and Play

Next, let’s meet 2 guys from HTC: U Ultra and U Play. Design-wise, they are really stunning if you ask. Spec-wise, each machine has whatever it takes to do most tasks well. Specifically, HTC U Ultra specs contain a big 5.7-inch 2K Super LCD5 screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (64GB ver) or Sapphire crystal glass (128GB ver), 4GB RAM, a microSD card slot, a 3,000mAh battery, Quick Charge 3.0, a Snapdragon 821 chip, Android 7.0 Nougat OS, and a set of 12MP primary + 16MP secondary snapper. Interestingly, Ultra has an extra display on the front, measuring 2.05 inches and capable of 160 x 1040 pixels. All you need to do to bring it home is pay about $749.

As for HTC U Play specs, it is smaller with a 5.2-inch Full HD Super LCD screen along with other still-good-enough features: Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Helio P10 chip, 32/64GB ROM (expandable) paired with 3/4GB RAM, a 16MP + 16MP shooter package, a 2,500mAh batt and fast charging tech. Nonetheless, we have not been informed of official HTC U Play price yet. Let’s wait a bit more!

9. Xiaomi Mi S

Number 9 is Xiaomi Mi S, which is said to be in the works right now. According to some new reports, Xiaomi Mi S specs will have a handy 4.6-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 821 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 4MP f/2.0 front + 12MP Sony IMX378 (with f/2.0, PDAF, and dual LED flash) rear camera combo. In addition, there will be a decent 2,600mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 under the hood to fuel the whole device. So, what do you think about it?

10. Vivo V5 Plus

Last but not least, we’ve got Vivo V5 Plus with price starting from $400. Spec-wise, it has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Snapdragon 625 octa-core 2.0GHz chip set, 64GB of expandable ROM, 4GB of RAM, and a 3,160mAh batt with fast charging tech. Specially, Vivo V5 Plus specs offer a wonder set of 16MP rear (with f/2.0, PDAF, plus LED flash) and dual 20MP + 8MP front (with f/2.0 and 1/2.8″ sensor size) camera. Well, this can absolutely be a great option for those who are seeking a selfie-centric smartphone.

Huawei P10 Lite: 4GB RAM, Android 7.0

Huawei P10 Lite just appeared out of nowhere on Geekbench. The phone is the downgraded version of the flagship Huawei P10. The device is listed as Huawei WAS-LX1A and was spotted on January 29. While most of Huawei P10 Lite specs like display and cameras remain unknown, we know for sure that it will run on Android 7.0 when released.

Surprisingly, another Huawei phone with model number WAS-AL00 was certified at TENAA in early 2017. This model has almost the same specs as Huawei P10 Lite: a Kirin 655 chipset with 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 4GB RAM. The only difference is internal storage space. While the model WAS-AL00 has 64GB ROM, there is no information about Huawei P10 Lite ROM.

For now, we can assume that these two models are the same device. The rest of Huawei P10 Lite specs are still a mystery, but we can be sure that the phone will have some common flagship features. These include a non-removable battery, fast battery charging technology, USB Type-C and expandable storage up to 256GB.
