Lenovo P70 – Octa-Core 64 BIT CPU, LTE and a huge 4000mAH battery!
Lenovo has just launched a new phone in China, the Lenovo P70. The Lenovo is a midranger specs wise, but the battery capacity is truly impressive and truly a unique selling point these days.
The Lenovo P70 features a stunning 4.000mAh battery and according to Lenovo you get up to full 34 days of Standby power. These days, where smartphone manufacturers normally save on battery life, this is very nice. These numbers refer only to 2G though, for 4G you get 30.5 days and 29 days for 3G connectivity. Thats still very impressive for the Lenovo P70!
Other Lenovo P70 specs include a 5″ HD screen, 64-Bit Mediatek MT6752 CPU clocked at 1.7Ghz and MaliT760-MP2 GPU. For Camera Lovers the P70 gets a 13MP Main Camera and 5MP Front Facing Camera. The Lenovo P70 runs on Android Kit Kat 4.4 and has dimensions of 142 x 71.8 x 8.9 mm, also the Lenovo phone has an pretty average weight of 149g.
Moreover the P70 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, extendable via micro SD. Also you get LTE 4G (Cat 4) and Dual Sim Support. The Lenovo P70 is sold in China for 1399YUan , which translates to 224USD or RM805. This is a very solid price for Octa-Core 64BIT CPU, 2GB RAM and the huge 4000mAh battery.
Breaking: New Galaxy S6 reaches 60.000 points on Antutu Benchmark!
Do you remember before we saw early Samsung Galaxy S6 Antutu Specs but without a score? Now we finally get a Galaxy S6 Antutu including score!
According to Antutu, these Galaxy S6 Specs should be more precise, so likely we see the final specs here. The S6 will be sporting a 5.1″ Display with 2560 × 1440 resolution. This is a major change to the last Antutu specs we saw with a 5.5″ screen. The 5.1″ Display fits also more with the latest picture leaks of the S6 we have seen.
The S6 will come with a octa-core Exynos 7420 cpu, clocked at 2.1GHz (four Cortex-A57 + four Cortex-A53), 3GB RAM and 32GB of of internal memory. The S6 will get a 20MP Main Camera and 5MP Front Camera and will be running on Android Lollipop 5.0.
Samsung’ Exynos 7429 will come with a Mali-T760 GPU. Very likely we will see the Mali-T760MP8 in the new S6, compared to the Mali-T760MP6 with the Exynos 5433 CPU. This would be a really radical change in performance. Compared to the Exynos 410 in the Note 4, the power consumption and heat generation on the new S6 is going to increase. To solve this problem, Samsung might have very well build the Exynos 7420 on a 14nm technology. So its complete possible that Samsung will launch the first processor every with 14nm technology with the S6.
If you have a look at the Sub Areas, the Galaxy S6 Antutu Score reaches 60,978 points. Lets be very honest here these results are hard to reach on any Snapdragon 810 processor at the moment or MTK. According to Antutu this is by far the strongest mobile processor at the moment. Really no wonder Samsung abandoned the Snapdragon 810 for their own product.

This is how Xiaomi’s smartphones evolved in 4 Years
Xiaomi is one of the World’s top smartphone producers right now. Originally Xiaomi did not start out with producing phones, their first product was only the MIUI Operating System. For those of you who might not know, despite their enormous success Xiaomi is actually a very young company. Xiaomi will have their fifth birthday as a company this Summer 2014, and only the fourth for selling smartphones.
Of course the big question is, how could a Company that didnt exist before 2010, disrupt an entire industry? After all Xiaomi sold more smartphones in 2014 then very old companies like LG, Sony or Motorola (61 millions sold in 2014).
Xiaomi Family: Beautiful Pic by: Ginie Chin and Aslyy Chin
It seems to be a combination of then innovative exclusive online only selling methods, excellent timing and a very good portfolio of products. Like you might know Xiaomi’s products are priced signicantly lower then the competition at comparable specs. Also Xiaomi started their Smartphone business only after raising money from very powerful Asian investors, as well as Qualcomm. That is the main reason that most phones from Xiaomi sport Qualcomm’s cpus, like the newest Snapdragon 810.
Of course if you are from Europe or the US, Xiaomi might not be relevant to your market yet. And yes Xiaomi has been criticized for borrowing ideas from Apple and lately not bringing their phones like the Xiaomi Mi4 to all markets. Nevertheless Xiaomi is definitely an company you should keep an eye on. If you live in Asia you already now, Xiaomi expanded already agressively outside China and they plan on Global Expansion. Also similiar to Samsung Xiaomi will not stay Smartphone only, they already have Tablets, Tv’s and even their own Air Purifier.
Right now lets have a look at how XIaomi’s product line has been evolving since the Xiaomi start in 2011, up to the powerful Xiaomi Note and Note Pro in 2015.
Xiaomi Mi 1
The Xiaomi Mi1 or is Xiaomi’s very first smartphone ever. The Xiaomi Mi1 was released in China in October 2011. In 2011, the Samsung Galaxy S2 was the phone Xiaomi needed to beat in China and they tried to do so with a very attractive Xiaomi Mi 1 pricing. The Xiaomi Mi1 sold for a, back then nearly unbelievable, 300USD.
Specs wise the Xiaomi Mi1 was able to match the S2 pretty closely. The XiaomI Mi1 came with 4″ screen and 480 x 854 resolution, DualCore 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon S3 CPU, 8MP Mainc Camera, and 1GB of RAM. Xiaomi managed to get 300.000 preorders for their first phone ever by an unknown company – which suprised many back then. Xiaomi launched a slightly faster version, the Xiaomi Mi 1S with 1.7Ghz Snapdragon S3 in Summer 2012.
Xiaomi Mi2
Back in 2012, in August Xiaomi also launched their Mi2 Flagship. The Xiaomi Mi2 price was also set at 300USD, while having true Flagship Specs for the time. The Xiaomi Mi2 specs included a 4.3″ HD display with 720 x 1280, quad-core Snapdragon S4 clocked at 1.5Ghz, and most importantly 2GB of RAM.
Later on Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Mi2 S with a faster 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 600. Those specs were unseen at the time with a phone for a 300USD price tag. Thats why Xiaomi managed to sell more then 10Million Xiaomi Mi2, and their variants Mi-2S and Mi-2A, just in the first 11 month after launch.
Xiaomi Hongmi/Redmi 1
In Summer 2013 Xiaomi introduced their first budget smartphone, the Redmi or Hongmi in China. For an initial price of just 130USD you get very nice specs. The Xiaomi Redmi 1 Specs include 4.7″ HD display, 8MP Camera, 1GB of RAM and extendabl memory via Micro Sd. The chinese Hongmi is powered by an Quadcore MTK cpu while the international Xiaomi Redmi 1S is powered by Snapdragon 400 CPU. Especially because of the cheap pricing the Xiaomi Redmi Series was crazy successful for Xiaomi and recently they launched the successor Redmi 2.

XiaomI Mi3
The Xiaomi Mi3 launched in China and subsequently other markets in October 2013. The Mi3 became quickly Xiaomi’s fastest selling phone and sold more then 200.000 units, just 3 minutes after launch. Xiaomi Mi3 was their flagship for 2013 and the specs include 5″ 1080p display, the strong quad-core Snapdragon 800 , 2GB RAM and a 13MP Camera. The Xiaomi Mi3 came with an initial pricing of 300USD and was easily able to rival Samsung’s Galaxy S5 for example.

Xiaomi Redmi Note
The Xiaomi Redmi Note was Xiaomi’s entry into the Phablet market. The Redmi Note comes with a huge 5.5″ HD screen, and either Octa-Core Mediatek Version or Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 for the 4G Version. The Xiaomi Redmi Note sells for 160USD and is selling like hotcakes. Especially the DualSim Mediatek version was very popular since customers seem to demand larger and larger screens. At Xiaomi Redmi Note Release Date there were no real alternatives for the Price Tag of the Redmi Note.

Xiaomi Mi4
The Successor of the Xiaomi Mi3, is of course the Xiaomi Mi4, available in China since Summer 2014. The official pricing was 320USD for the 16GB version and 410USD for the 64GB Version. The Xiaomi Mi4 specs include 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 801, 13MP Main and 8MP Selfie Cam, 5″ Full HD display. While those specs are very impressive, Xiaomi launched only a TDD-LTE version in China first. This means that depending on the Mi4 version and home market you will not get LTE on your new smartphone. While the Xiaomi Mi4 sold impressively in China, Xiaomi decided not to launch it in certain markets like Malaysia and Singapore and only the 3G Version in other markets like India, which disappointed many fans.

Xiaomi Redmi 2
The Redmi 2 was XIaomi’s first product launch in 2015. In its original version, the Redmi is only a minor upgrade for the Redmi 1S. The Redmi 2 comes with 4.7 HD screen, LTE and 64-Bit Snapdragon 410. This is still okey for the price of 110USD but realizing that 1GB of RAM might not be enough for 2015, if you are not Apple, Xiaomi already announced a 2GB RAM Redmi 2 Version. If you plan to buy the Redmi 2, you might want to wait for the 2GB RAM version launch.

Xiaomi Note and Note Pro
The Note and Note Pro finally mark Xiaomi’s entry in the premium smartphone market. The Note comes with huge 5.7″ Full HD display, 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 801.The Xiaomi Mi Pro is a real Spec Beast with 2K QHD 5.7″ Display, 4GB of RAM and Snapdragon 810. At the moment only the Xiaomi Note is selling in China for around 400USD. The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro will be released in China, with a price of 530USD its Xiaomi’s most expensive flagship so far.

The iPhone is “terribly boring” says HTC’s Jeff Gordon
Last week Apple reported astonishing revenues. Main factor were the record sales of 74.5 Million Apple iPhones from October to December 2014. Of course iPhone 6 and iPhone 6Plus were the main drivers here. Now a high ranking HTC Executive congratulated, but saying he finds the iPhone “terribly boring.”
Jeff Gordon is HTC’S HTC’s Senior Global Online Communications Manager used Twitter for his statement. Further Gordon said Apple phones are “a boring, easy choice.” Gordon said moreover he desires a “a phone that’s more unique, more personal, more stunning when I take it out of my pocket”. Of course he is referring to the HTC M8 and also HTC’s new upcoming Flagships HTC M9 and M9 Plus.
In January Gordon announced already that 2015 will be the best HTC products ever including some “huge surprises”. We are very excited to see if there are really big surprises coming. From what we saw so far the HTC M9, might not look very different from the M8 so maybe there are other HTC products coming? The HTC A55 might be another Hotseller Candidate.
It looks like we will have to wait and see for the HTC One M9 Release Date on 1.March. Meanwhile what do you think of our HTC M8 versus iPhone 6 Comparison Pics?
First Look at HTC ONE M9 Gold Edition – New Leak
These days we have seen quite a lot of images and leaks about the HTC’s new Flagship The HTC One M9, with Codename HTC Hima. We will know the exact design only on 1th March, but many of the latest pictures reveal the same design, even though from totally different sources.
The latest leaks come from our friends from France Nowherelse and show the Rear of a Golden HTC M9. Especially the inside of this m9 is very carefully made with a lot of details, its quite unlikely to be a fake. This does not mean that will be the final Launch Version of the One M9 though. Definitely though this Golden HTC M9 has many similarities with older leaks. None of these confirm the purported Dual Camera of the HTC M9, all you can see is one main camera.
The HTC One M9 will be announced at MWC on 1th March, and we also expect a larger HTC ONE M9 Plus to be shown. We expect the HTC One Plus will come with a 5.2″ display with 2K 1440 x 2560 pixel and fingerprint scanner. Other specs will probably the same as the 5″ Full HD HTC M9, with Snapdragon 810, 3GB RAM, Boom Sound and 32GB of internal memory.
Do you think this is the new HTC M9? What do you think of the golden color?
This is the new Samsung Galaxy S6 according to newest leaks. Reminds a bit of iPhone 6.
Earlier we showed you some pics what the Samsung Galaxy S6 will look like according to Spigen, that were the first to leak many real designs. Judging by the case, speaker placing and ports, the Galaxy S6 brings up at least some iPhone 6 memorys.
Actually there are quite some rumors that Samsung will divert from their traditional Galaxy Design language and borrow some of Apple Jony Ive’s inspirations for their upcoming Galaxy S6. So if you think that the rounded corners, very thin case and big home button of the Galaxy S6, resemble the iPhone 6, its because they actually do. The Galaxy S6 will probably come with Sealed Metal Unibody, but glass on both front and back. One exectutive Samsung Supplier put it this way: “The Galaxy S6 will make its debut in two versions ― flat and rounded screens. It will have a metal build, which will make it look even more like Apple’s latest models.”
Also it seems pretty confirmed that Samsung will launch a technology, called Samsung Pay included with the S6. Different to Apple Pay the Samsung Payment Gateway will be magnetic emulating your credit card. That means that Samsung Pay might be accepted in more then 10million Locations right from the start, while Apple Pay is very limited to about 200k spots, mostly in the US at the moment. Here is a short Video of LoopPay, allegedley that is the basis of the new Samsung Pay.
Lets get back to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Design though.Very quickly after we had the newest Samsung Galaxy S6 Chassis pics, we have gotten compute generated renders of the Galaxy S6 Successor. The Renders seem to implement not only all leaked renders so far, but also earlier leaked case blueprints of the S6. Also you can very clearly see the Main Camera Module on this newest render.
This is what the Galaxy S6 will probably look like if all rumors and reports become true. From our perspective this looks quite beautiful. No matter if iPhone 6 Inspiration or not – this looks like the S6 is going to be a beauty.

Asus launches ZenPower 9600mAh – Ultra affordable Powerbank to charge your Zenfone
ASUS has been quite successful with their Zenfone Smartphone Series and the Asus Zenfone 2 promises to sell like hotcakes. Now it looks like Asus is entering the Mobile Accessory Business as well.
Asus will launch the Asus Zenfpower 9600 PowerBank, which is as you can guess a 9600mAh Powerbank. 9600mAh is actually enough spare capacity to charge your Zenphone 3-5times. In terms of design the new Asus Zenpower reminds of another very popular PowerBank out there, which sells frequently out in Minutes in whole Asia.
As you can see the outside gets a brushed metal finish and you can get your Asus Zenpower Bank in various flashy colors. Compared to the rounded edge of Xiaomi’s PowerBank the Zenpower has more squared edges. Another difference is that Asus uses 3x higher capacity 3200mAh battery cells in their ZenPowerBank. Xiaomi Powerbanks use 4x, 2600mAH in their Standard model, that makes the ZenPower Bank lighter and compacter then Xiaomi’s Model. (ZenPower Bank 215g, 10400 MI Bank 250g) Read our Asus Zenfone 2 Specs Review
Rubber Sleeves to protect your Asus Zenpower Bank
The ZenPower Bank comes with 11 layers of Protection, which is better then Xiaomi’s 9 layers of Protection. You get full size USB outputs, micro USB input, four LED indicators and a large power/status button. There is no mention of output rating, but knowing Asus quality you should get 2AMPS output rating at least. Also there are different rubber cases available, if you are afraid of scratching your Zenpower Bank.
Asus Zenpower 9600mAh Pics
Conclusion: Asus is getting into the Mobile Accessory Business with the Asus Zenpower 9600mAh PowerBank. So far we dont know about the Pricing yet. Considering the Asus Zenfone Prices though we can guess that Asus Zenpower should be equally affordable as the Xiaomi Mi Powerbank. Of course these PowerBanks will sell like crazy. More important though the ZenPower Banks will carry the Asus Brand and bring the Brand enough publicity to give Zenfone Series a real Push in terms of Sales and Popularity! Well done!

Is this finally the Xiaomi Mi5? New Xiaomi Phone with no side Bezels leaks in China
Xiaomi has definitely started 2015 with a Bang, with not launching one but three new smartphones so far. Especially the Xiaomi Note and Note Pro managed to catch a lot of internationl attention, but it seems that Xiaomi might just have another ace hidden in their sleeves.
Xiaomi and Xiaomi Note Pro comes both with identical specs, but differ very significantly in terms of specs. While the Xiaomi Note comes with Snapdragon 801, 3GB of RAM and a Full HD 5.7″ Screen, the Xiaomi Note Pro packs the Best of the Best with Snapdragon 810, Quad HD and 4GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Note and Note Pro have thicker side bezels then Mi5 leaks (later in post)
We are very sure that both of these devices will sell like Hotcake. Xiaomi did announce though that another launch will be upcoming in the next month. They didnt specify what exactly though. Well we might just have the newest pictures of this device fresh from China. If you have a closer look at the leaked pictures, you see a clear similiarity to the Xiaomi Note Devices. The main difference are the bezels though. In fact this device looks very much like it has nearly no bezels on the sides.
New Leaks of alleged Xiaomi Mi5 Flagship
Actually this device looks very much like the earlier rumored Xiaomi Mi5. Many of you were expecting a Xiaomi Mi5 Launch instead of the Xiaomi Note and Note Pro Launch. Now it seems like the Xiaomi Note and Note Pro is actually an enlargement of the Xiaomi assortment. Similiar to the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S Series. We might just see the successor Xiaomi Mi4, the Xiaomi MI5 Launch soon.
Earlier Leaks of a Xiaomi Mi5 Device – As you can see most of those feature the nearly bezel-less design
Related to this a mysterious new Xiaomi Smartphone received Certification in China, with the Name 2014618, and no other specs mentioned. The only specs we know so far are GSM, TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE connectivity. This might of course not be related to the leaked pictures and could be the long awaited Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.
Conclusion: We saw new pictures of a Xiaomi Device, that looks awfully much like the long rumored Xiaomi Mi5. From a strategical standpoint it would make sense to launch a successor to the Xiaomi MI4 and have a seperate Premium “Note Series”. Anyhow Xiaomi keeps surprising us, so stay tuned for more news.

Qualcomm confirms Snapdragon 810 for Sony Xperia Z4. Xperia Z4 Tablet likely to launch as well.
Qualcomm just released a new press release stating” “a growing customer design pipeline in excess of 60 premium tier mobile devices based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.” Sony gadgets and especially the Sony Xperia Z4 will be confirmed one of those premium smartphones.
Within Qualcomm’s Press Release Sony confirmed several Xperia devices with the 64-Bit Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 launching later this year. Gen Tsuchikawa, Senior VP and CSO of Sony Mobile stated clearly: “We’re excited about the new capabilities of the Snapdragon 810 processor and are looking forward to working with Qualcomm Technologies as we bring new Xperia products to consumers later this year,”
Reported Xperia Z4 specs include a 5.2″ 2K Triluminos display with 1440x 2560p resolution, Snapdragon 810, Android Lollipop 5.0.1, Sony’s 20.7MP Shooter and a huge 3400mAh battery. Also there are sources that say there will be two versions launching, one with QHD and one with 1080p display. This would make a lot of sense, since not every customer wants to sacrifice battery life for display resolution. Of course the Xperia Z4 will be water resistant again.
A recent leak from the Indonesian FCC (SIRIM) equivalent, makes also pretty clear that an Xperia Z4 tablet is expected to launch in 2015. The details reference a Sony Product called “SONY-SGP711, similiar to the last Sony Tablet Z2, that was filed as SGP5XX. Latest leaks suggest a 4K 10 inch or larger screen and of course the Octa-Core Snapdragon 810. Since the tablet is already being filled in Indonesia there is a big chance of seing the Xperia Z4 tablet maybe even at Xperia Z4 launch in May. Other likely candidates for the Snapdragon 810 include of course Z4 Ultra and Compact versions of the Premium Smartphone.
The Xperia Z4 expected price is likely to be in the same pricearea or even a bit more expensive then the Xperia Z3 and Z2. The Xperia Z2 Price was at nearly 900USD at Launch and the Z3 at 820USD. The Xperia Z4 is expected to pack significant feature upgrades versus their predecessors.
The expected Sony Xperia Z4 Release Date is in May 2015.
