Xiaomi Mi5 Coming – Strongest Flagship 2015?
The upcoming flagship smartphone of Xiaomi was said to be postponed due to the delay of Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint identification scheme. That made people a bit disappointed, but the news released lately may change the situation. It is about the Xiaomi Mi5 launch in 2015.
Xiaomi Mi5 coming
The manufacturer has emphasized that Xiaomi Mi5 does not necessarily use Qualcomm’s fingerprint identification program. It is just one of the options. There are still other programs for them to replace and let Mi5 catch up with the plan in September. Of course, we also identified a message saying that Xiaomi Mi5 will provide fingerprint recognition.
According to the previous posts, Xiaomi Mi5 with a slim design will feature a 5.5-inch display and include a QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution screen. Also, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. If that is the case, Mi5 is likely to be one of the top smartphones of the year. On the contrary, some believed that Xiaomi won’t do that as they has already included Snapdragon 810 in Xiaomi Mi Note Pro. Therefore, perhaps the company will repeat the same for their upcoming flagship as well. In terms of camera, 16MP primary with OIS and 8MP selfie shooter will probably satisfy Mi5 users.
Everything about Xiaomi Mi5 we have heard so far is so impressive: a phablet with amazing display, powerful processor, and best combo of camera. They all sound like an incredibly strong competitor on the smartphone market. However, we still need to see it before believing it! Keep waiting! It’s worth.
Meizu MX5 and Meizu MX5 Pro Launch in July?
People say Meizu is kind of aggressive! Why? Because they have had two new machines with code numbers M575U and M575M, which got certification not very long ago. They were rumored to be the versions of Meizu MX5, but now, when another mysterious phone gets certified with the model name M578CE, we are wondering if it would be the true MX5 or it would be the phablet Meixu MX5 Pro.
In addition, the sources also revealed that Meizu now is speeding up, maybe to complete the goal of releasing Meizu MX5 this month and next might be the Meizu MX5 Pro launch in July.
In fact, before the the news was spread, MX5 Pro was said to debut in July of 2015, boasting a 6-inch 2K screen and the same processor of the Samsung Galaxy S6, the Exynos 7420. Besides, it will be equipped with Sony’s 20-megapixel camera, a 4,000mAh and the powerful 4GB RAM. On the other hand, the home button will be physical and oval. Moreover, from the 3C certification, we notice that M578CE also supports 4G TD-LTE network. Some doubt that this M578CE will sport fast charging as its current one is only 1.2A.
So, June has passed half of the way and July is coming. Will Meizu release their flagships as soon as many sources claimed and people expected? That’s gonna make the summer hotter than ever.
Let’s take a look at some key points of Meizu MX5 Specs and MX5 Pro Specs based on news and predictions:

Sony admits Z3 Plus and Z4 Overheating – Promises Software Update
Two latest Sony’s products Sony Xperia Z4 and Sony Xperia Z3 Plus also cannot avoid receiving reports from phone users on overheating issue. Yet it seems like the problem will be solved soon since Sony has spoken, admitting that both Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z3+ have an issue with overheating much like the other Snapdragon 810 powered handsets.
Sony Xperia Z3 Plus and Z4 overheating issue:
We know that those two Xperia models use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC as the processors but with a so-called “revised version”. It should have done better with thermal regulation, but it’s not; it’s still running hot. Some even reported that Sony Xperia Z3 Plus became very hot while running games or Netflix videos in HD.
Not only just the consumers but also Sony did notice the heating issue. According to the manufacturer, the problem was detected in tests run by GSMinfo in Netherlands. For example, in tests using camera, the app crashed after a few minutes of video recording, and the the phone’s rear started to get much warmer.
In response to the complaints, Sony says that they will be releasing a software update in the near future to fix the issue, maybe sometime this summer. Anyhow, before that, the company also suggests smartphone users to power off their machines several times a day, especially once charging them. On the other hand, for those who feel inconvenient due to the Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 overheating problem, they totally can contact Sony service center anytime.
Hopefully, things will get better and Sony Xperia X4 and Z3+ will bring the users great experience again.

We expect that ZTE will equip their handset with 3GB or 4GB RAM, instead of 2GB RAM built in Star 2, and larger battery like 3,000mAh or so, not just 2,400mAh batt as the former’s.
As for camera, Star 3 may remain the 13MP rear dual cam, but of course, if the company can improve the shooters to more than 13MP, the phone’s gonna be awesome. Besides, there can be two color options: dark gray and shiny blue.

While MediaTek 6752 is also a very capable chipset for a smartphone, it does not support international LTE, which seems to be a drawback for devices owning this processor. It looks like Elephone has found out a better choice for their next phone when building the newer MediaTek MT6753 catering “Worldmode LTE” in P8000. As a result, Elephone P8000 will be able to support all 4G networks all over the world.
Different from the 3,450mAh battery of Elephone P7000, P8000 will have more advantages when owning a 4,200mAh batt. This is going to be a worth-considering option for those who want their phone to last more than 24 hours. On the other hand, price is also a point that can make Elephone P8000 a good choice. OnePlus TWO Teaser out: Design similar to OnePlus One!?
We are almost in the middle of June and recently, OnePlus team has partly made the summer hotter by releasing the the very first teasers of the OnePlus Two. Somehow its design is similar to the OPO. Let’s take a look at the following pictures:
OnePlus Two teaser
Teasers of the successor to OnePlus One having been posted show a general view of the new machine. However, seem like it cannot tell us much about its design.
If you remember, OnePlus team is running a contest to select a winner to participate its secret project for OnePlus Two in Hong Kong. Contestants will have to snap and send an unedited and non-filtered photo to the company’s Instagram by using the @oneplustech tag. Ten candidates will be picked based on the number of votes and “technical ability”, then the winner will be chosen by the public.
But the point here is that to promote for this program, OnePlus has posted an announcement on the Facebook along with a picture, which is likely to be the OnePlus 2.
We can notice that the phone is held in landscape, so there’s only the screen to be seen. It looks large and the bezel is really thin. Anyhow, before officially unveiling the true handset in the Q3 of 2015, OnePlus might not just let us figure out everything!
For not only the design but also the OnePlus Two specs, we still have to wait a bit more, yet some sources in China claim that the phone will boast 3GB RAM, Full HD display and Snapdragon 810 processor. Other than that, a fingerprint scanner is also rumored to come along with “better than Touch ID” features.
In terms of OnePlus Two price, it has not been confirmed yet. Nonetheless, there might be two OnePlus models we have to guess the prices: one is a flagship to replace OnePlus One and the other is a mid-range phone with lower specs and price tag.
