According to latest news published on Weibo Antutu website, Sony is hinting the next generation of high-end smartphones for 2016. The new mobile series, allegedly named Xperia Z6 will come in 5.2 inch display for the original model, an Xperia Z6 Mini with 4 inch display, Xperia Z6 Compact with 4.6 inch display. Besides, seems like there will also be a phablet version – Xperia Z6 with 5.8 inch and even a 6.4 inch model – Xperia Z6 Ultra.

Together with the model names and screen sizes of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z6 family, Weibo also revealed that, 4 among these 5 smartphones will be running on premium Snapdragon 820 chip set, except for the Z6 Mini which would feature Snapdragon 620. For now, Sony has sent out invitations for press meeting at CES 2016 conference next month. Although it is still too early for Sony to say any further about the Z5 successors, but let’s wait and see if the Japanese company is going to bring us any surprise.

One thing we can not deny is that, Sony is doing really well with the Xperia Z5 family this year.
