LeEco will be China’s first Android maker to announce a Snapdragon 835 phone. The company is having financial problem right now and this is one of a few good news from them for awhile.

China’s First Snapdragon 835 Phone: SND 835, 6GB RAM

Recent news regarding LeEco have the company facing harsh financial problem. With LeEco selling off its offices in the US and cutting staff in India, many assume that the company may not last long. However, today one good news surfaced and this may be the comeback that LeEco desperately needs. According to the source, LeEco are currently working on their next device. And in true LeEco fashion, their new phone boasts all the top of the range features that we have come to expect from Chinese handsets.

Design-wise, the smartphone will come with a dual curved glass display, similar to that found on Vivo and Samsung devices. It also looks to be the first Chinese smartphone to get the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. In addition to the impressive screen and SoC specs, the new LeEco phone is rumored to come with dual-camera setup. These cameras will work the same way like the ones on LG G6 with one dedicated taking color images and the other for black and white photography. Those rear cameras are rumored to be both 13MP sensors.

Other features include a non-removable battery of unknown capacity and fast battery charging technology. The phone will offer 6GB RAM and expandable storage up to 256GB. The phone will run on the latest Android 7.0 version out of the box.

China’s First Snapdragon 835 Phone: price and availability

The phone is still under development but it will likely hit China market this year. However, there’s no guarantee that the the device will get a global release. The phone was spotted a while ago and seems to be a price-friendly device. A worker from a Nokia factory took a picture of the phone and leaked on the internet. In terms of Nokia E1 specs, it features a 5.2″ HD display, along with a Snapdragon 1.4GHz quad-core and Adreno 308 under the hood. The phone offers 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. No information about external storage is available right now, but we suspect it will have a microSD slot.

The device is mounted with a 13MP back camera with autofocus and LED flash, capable of recording 1080p@30fps videos. Meanwhile, the front camera is 5MP. Nokia E1 will come in two color options: Black and White. Nokia E1 price is not yet announced, but we expect it to be cheaper than Nokia 3.

Nokia 1 just showed up recently. There is not much information about it either. However, from the concept video, we can see that the phone somewhat resembles Nokia 230. As the name suggests, many assume that Nokia 1 will be the cheapest Android device that Nokia has ever made. However, some doubt that the name is not related to the price. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 835, along with 6GB RAM and 64/128GB ROM. If 128GB ROM is still not enough for you, there’s a microSD card slot on the side (up to 256GB).On the back is an iconic 41MP PureView camera from Nokia, while the front panel will house another camera with an Iris-scanner.

The phone also comes with dual speakers with subwoofer effect integrated. It has a slim design and is only 7.4mm thick. Nokia 9 runs on latest Android 7.1 and a 3650mAh battery.

The Vernee Mars Pro is one of the smartphones which were introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It is very similar to its little brother Vernee Mars that was launched last year. What we know so far, there are only three differences between Vernee Mars Pro and Vernee Mars: processor, memory and price. While the Mars is still available for $250 and is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset and 4GB of RAM, the Mars Pro sports an octa-core Helio P25 processor and 6GB of RAM. The more powerful smartphone has been priced $100 more than its little brother.

Design-wise, the phone comes with an elegant-looking full-metal unibody design with a 5.5-inch FullHD display with 2.5D glass that is almost edge to edge. Another special feature is its fingerprint sensor that is located on the right side of the mobile phone, right below the power and lock button, just like the Sony Xperia XZ.
