Zenfone 3 Deluxe VS LeEco Le 2s X720: Antutu battle
Zenfone 3 Deluxe VS LeEco Le 2s X720: two front runners on Antutu benchmark will have a competition. These two phones are the latest flagships from two famous brands: LeEco and Asus. So, let’s see who’s gonna be the champion of this battle.
Zenfone 3 Deluxe VS LeEco Le 2s X720: 4GB RAM battle
Asus and LeEco are both well-known smartphone companies. One is from Taiwan and the other is from China. They both introduce their powerful flagships to the market. However, Asus is faster with its Zenfone 3 Deluxe which is already available in the market. While LeEco’s flagship still needs some more time to be released. The obvious similarity of these phones is that they’re both the very powerful flagships. They both feature Full HD displays, 4GB of RAM, 8MP front-facing cameras, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
How about the differences between Zenfone 3 Deluxe specs and LeEco Le 2s X720 specs? Although both phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, LeEco is better with SND 820 processor’s upgraded version – SND 821. With this chipset, Le 2s will be the 1st phone to sport this feature. While in Deluxe, it’s a SND 820 hipset. However, in the exchange, the Asus device packs 64GB of inbuilt storage and a 23MP primary cam with OIS. On the LeEco’s representative, they’re just 32GB ROM and a 16MP rear shooter.
Well, Zenfone 3 Deluxe VS LeEco Le 2s X720: what a tough battle! They are the neck-to-neck rivals. One is better at the processor, one is better at the back cam and internal memory. They are both highly ranked on Antutu: Deluxe is gets 138 706 scores, and Le 2s X720 reaches 154000 scores – the highest so far. And of course, with SND 821 chipset, the fact that LeEco handset spots the 1st position on Antutu is easy to understand.
Zenfone 3 Deluxe VS LeEco Le 2s X720: price
Zenfone 3 Deluxe VS LeEco Le 2s X720: it’s not easy to pick a one, right? However, if you want to own one of these flagships immediately, Deluxe is proper for you. Because Zenfone 3 Deluxe release date is in this June. It is available in the market right now. So you can buy it with the Zenfone 3 Deluxe price of RM 2006 ~ $499. On the other hand, LeEco new phone is still a mystery. But we expect that LeEco Le 2s X720 price will be no more than RM 1500 ~ $373.
Wireless charging: The reasons why it is NOT recommended
Wireless charging is always an appealing feature in smartphones. However, does it really assist your device? I don’t think so. Let’s take a look at our reasons why this technology is never a good choice for you.
Wireless charging: NOT battery-friendly
First of all, wireless charging is not as efficient as cable charging. Many users think that wireless charger is less annoying thanks to the lack of the cable. But they don’t know that wireless charging comes with lower capacity. It takes a bit longer to fully charge a smartphone via wireless charging than via cable charging. So I would prefer a cable which is annoying yet powerful.
Secondly, wireless charging can drain your battery. This does not happen to the devices from big brands. However, with products from common brands, there are reports that many smartphone batteries lose their capacity after a while if wireless charger is used. So at this point, you may think that cable charging is not really annoying right?
Thirdly, wireless charging heats up the device! We all know that battery heats up a bit during charging time, but when we use a wireless charger, both the phone and the charging dock heat up! So in this case, the smartphone heats up both from the inside and the outside! And this may lead to the malfunction of not only the battery but also many other electronics of your phone if you use this method for a long time!
Wireless charging: NOT budget-friendly
Last but not least, wireless charging is NOT budget-friendly. It is obvious that smartphones with wireless charger cost much higher than smartphones with cable charger. Another reason is that cable charging often comes with a removable cable, which can be replaced easily. The cable can also be used to connect your phone to your laptop.
LCD and AMOLED display: What are the differences?
You must be familiar with LCD and AMOLED display, but have you ever wondered what they are and what are the differences between them? Let’s have a look!
LCD and AMOLED display: What are the differences?
First of all, between LCD and AMOLED, let’s talk about LCD first. LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is a technology that produces images and colors only from a backlight, which is mostly blue LED backlight. This light goes through several layers (two polarizers, two glass plates and one color filter) before it reaches the surface of the screen. The liquid crystal is located between the two glass plates. This crystal is in charge of controlling the light that goes through it. To be more specific, the liquid crystal adjusts the angle of the light depending on the voltage applied to it. Then finally, a red, green, or blue color filter is applied to this light, and these sub-pixels are grouped into pixels to adjust colors across the display.
Then we have AMOLED display (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode). Different from LCD display, this technology produces images and colors from individual tiny pixels! The pixel is actually a micro Light Emitting Diode (LED) which is arranged in red, blue, green clusters. When the voltage is applied, these clusters will adjust their brightness in order to create the target color. When maximum brightness is reached, we have white color.
So overall while LCD produces images via a single big backlight going through a liquid crystal, AMOLED display show the pictures via countless single LEDs which are shrunk down into micro pixels. So between LCD and AMOLED, AMOLED display offers more lively-looking images, with wider range of colors, but the pictures on the LCD looks smoother and more natural.
LCD and AMOLED display: Which one is better?
There are still many debates on which one is better than the other. But I would say it depends! AMOLED display save more battery than the LCD. Because AMOLED display will turns off a percentage of the pixels when the target color is black, while in LCD, the backlight is always on. However, AMOLED display cannot be featured in foldable or flexible display, not to mention that smartphones with AMOLED screen are much more expensive! So between LCD and AMOLED, which one is your choice?
5 premium features that can do GREAT HARM to the battery
Honestly, here are premium features that everyone wants to own, but it is not really great if you know how it could harm your smartphone!
1. Fast-charge technology
Today, fast charging is a premium feature which is very popular in current smartphones. We agree that fast charging technology will be helpful in some cases. For example, when you need to use your phone in emergency situations, quick charge technology can fulfill your demand. However, only a few people know that fast charging technology can harm battery.
First of all, it puts your phone in overworking. For an example, Quick charge 3.0 is one of the premium features, allowing your phone to charge 80% in just 30 minutes. That seems amazing, but the battery capacity could be dropped a bit and gradually. Definitely, your phone battery will be worn out more quickly than other phones that don’t support quick charging.
