In exchange, Huawei P9 Plus has better selfie camera, with 8MP resolution. The one on Xiaomi Redmi Pro has just 5MP resolution.

Both phones come with 5.5 inches screen with full HD resolution and 401 ppi. But the Huawei phone is a bit better thanks to 3D Touch display and Emotion UI 4.1. In terms of battery, Xiaomi Redmi Pro is the winner with a 4050 mAh battery, compared to a 3400 mAh one on the Xiaomi phone.

First in this Honor 8 vs Honor 7 battle, we will talk a little about design. When it was first introduced, the first thing that made Honor 8 feel special was the glass construction. Honor 7, on the other hand, has a metal construction. When we put the 2 of them together, we can see the clear differences in aesthetics: Honor 8 feels more high-class, while Honor 7 feels rugged. We are by no means saying that Honor 7 is ugly, but Huawei has done a splendid job with the design of the newer Honor. So with regard to design, Honor 8 takes the win!

The second part of this Honor 8 vs Honor 7 battle is the hardware. Both has octa-core processors, but for Honor 8 specs, there is the newer Kirin 950 processor. Almost every user of any Android phone would have one thing to ask when they see a Meizu Pro 6: “Where the hell is the ‘back’ and ‘recent’ button?”. It is indeed a very bold move for Meizu to take out these 2 familiar physical buttons. However, we think it may be a good move. Since Meizu Pro 6 is accused of copying Apple iPhone’s design (and in fact, it looks almost identical to an iPhone), this feature can be the difference for this Meizu phone. In this Meizu Pro 6 review, let’s see what this button can do.

Normally, on an Android phone, when you want to go back (to the previous web page, or to the main screen), you press the ‘back button. Similarly, when you want to see a list of recently opened apps, there’s also a dedicated button for that. They are usually located to the left and right of the home button, respectively. However, with Meizu Pro 6, if you want to go back, you touch the home button very slightly. Press the same button harder, and you will go back to the home screen. If you want to see recently opened apps, you swipe from the bottom of the screen up. Quite the change Meizu has made, that we had to take note in this Meizu Pro 6 review.

Those changes are quite interesting, as we can put one finger at the same place and do 2 things at a time (go back or go to the home screen). It is very useful for large phones like Meizu Pro 6, with 5.2″ screen. And it is quite easy to get used to, since the gesture is quite convenient. However, opening the recently opened apps is not comfortable. Meizu Pro 6 has all-round edges, so it is easy to slip when you slide one finger from the bottom when holding the phone. Thanks to the leaked images, we have the first look at Meizu Max. Like its name, Meizu Max comes with a big screen reported to be at least 5.7 inches in size. The phone is made out of metal and that it resembles Meizu MX6 quite a bit. There is an mBack Home button at the bottom of the phone. The “mBack” Home button is the signature of Meizu smartphones. On the backside, the phone flaunts a combination of 12MP camera paired with 5MP selfie shooter. The main camera comes with dual tone LED flash.

In terms of Meizu Max specs, it comes with 3GB RAM and Octa-core processor. Besides, the company might bring users a stronger version with 4GB RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage for both versions. Additionally, Meizu Max will run on Android 6.0 OS out of the box.
