6-Month old Baby almost hurt by exploding Samsung Galaxy S6

On Christmas Eve, a Samsung Galaxy S6 spontaneously burst into flames inside a house in England. The Smartphone was charging in the bedroom directly next to the baby’s cot when the mom-of-two Victoria Leed (39) heard a bang. She ran without hesitation into the room and saw the phone on fire. She said: ”There was a flame coming from the phone and sparks flying everywhere. They looked like fireworks”.

Fortunately, Leeds had already taken her 6-month old boy out of the cot where he was sleeping and placed him on the bed, just moments before the phone caught fire. Shocked Victoria took her baby who was just 20 cm away from the phone. She rushed immediately into the bathroom to check the boy’s health, while her husband Tim unplugged the Samsung Galaxy S6. The explosion was of enormous effect that had caused burning marks on the cot! But thankfully no one was hurt and nothing more serious happened.

Samsung Galaxy S6 replacement

Leeds talked to Samsung and reported them the explosion of her Samsung Galaxy S6. The company made a pledge to send her a replacement phone but a week already has passed and Samsung hasn’t sent her the promised phone yet. Meanwhile, the company has issued a statement that there are no known issues with the Galaxy S6. But there are several reports of other explosions in homes and even in mid-flight on a China Airlines’ plane a few days ago.

Meizu has had a pretty weird 2016 when we considered all that they have done. There is a leak roadmap on Weibo about every Meizu launches for next year. Let’s take a look.

Meizu 2017 roadmap

When we consider all about what Meizu has done in 2016, it was pretty weird. They launched from the odd devices to the repetitive nature of mid-rangers. So, what do we have next year? We will get a launch in February featuring the MTK6753 powered Meizu Blue Charm 5S. After then, the  PRO 7 will launch in June. It will come with the Helio X30 chipset which is expected to perform better than its Helio X25 brother. PRO 7 is also assumed to be their main flagship in 2017.

So, what;s next for Meizu after that? the Blue Charm S, a brand new device will launch in July, one month after Meizu PRO 7. Featuring the Helio P25 chipset, it seems like this one will be another mid-range device. This one is quite exciting as we have been looking for something new from Meizu. In October, we will get the Blue Charm Note 6 which is powered by Helio P20. Now, maybe we’ll actually be happy to see the new Note 6 when it arrives.

The final device is quite odd thing to see when we consider what Meizu has done before. There will be another Blue Charm device but it will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. The model’s name has been shredded so we can’t tell you what it is, what we have known is that it will come in December. Let’s hope that Meizu could make these launches on time.

And that’s apparently all Meizu have planned for launch next year. It’s reassuring to see that they’ve managed to organize their launches much better than before. So, it is expected to see more improvements from them in 2017.

Will HTC really succeed with its next flagship?

We are telling you today that HTC is ready to survive the competition of the smartphones market from next year. We all use smartphones, and we also know what we look for when buying our devices. Maybe there is something that it did not offer as other competitors, but it has assured that it gonna come back stronger as never. The company is believed to be ready its first innovative phone next Jan 2017, its first device could be the Ocean Note, It will be a mid-range of the X10.

The other two devices are said to be named as Ocean Smart and Ocean Master. It could also present at the Mobile World Congress the 8GB RAM HTC 11 which will officially be launched in the second quarter of the year. These reported prototypes (Ocean Master, Ocean Note, and Ocean Smart) might be launched on January 12th, We have no clear information about these HTC’s specs neither how much battery power they will deliver.

There is one thing we know about its feature, they are rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. The company might make it official soon, as the (Ocean Note is said to be a hot niche?). A Chinese report recently said that HTC is getting ready to launch three new smartphones in the first quarter of 2017, and it also stated that the Ocean Note might probably the first to launch as it’s said to be a bulletproof device.

The Standard edition features 16GB of ROM and 2GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the High edition offers 64GB of ROM and 3GB of RAM. The internal storage of both editions is expandable. As regard to photography, the Redmi Note 4 comes with a combo of 13MP primary + 5MP secondary camera. Besides, the mobile is fueled by a 4100mAh battery carrying Fast battery charging. 3. LeEco Le 2 Pro

One of the best camera handsets of LeEco is Le 2 Pro. This device owns a 5.5″ Full HD screen. We usually see the f-number, called aperture, in smartphone camera parameters. So, what is aperture camera? How does it affect photos? Which size of the aperture is the best? 

What is aperture ?

First, what is aperture? Aperture is a hole within a lens. That hole lets all external light go further into the camera. The size of aperture decides how much the amount of light can go into the camera. The larger the aperture is, the more light enters the camera body, and vice versa. The size of the aperture is decided by the diaphragm which is a part of the lens.

The camera aperture is expressed in f-number. An interesting fact is that a smaller f-number means a larger aperture. This means f/1.7 >  f/2.0 > f/2.8. So, how does it affect photos? The f-number will affect the photo’s depth of field which is the area in focus. A small f-number will only focus on the foreground and make it sharp. The background will be blurry. On the other hand, a large f-number will concentrate on both the foreground and background.

A smartphone camera with a big aperture (a small f-number) will give you better photos when you need to take a portrait picture or take a picture in low light condition. When you need to capture a picture in bokeh mode, a large aperture is a better choice. Meanwhile, a small camera aperture will do better in the strong light condition. If you take a picture of a group of many people or a picture of landscape or architecture, a big f-number camera is proper.
