Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus specs leaked again: placement of fingerprint reader?

Recently, more images leaked have confirmed about Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus specs. A couple of pictures found on Weibo showed two cases that were made for these two devices. According to the pictures, both phones will feature a 2K Super AMOLED display. While Samsung Galaxy S8 has a 5.7” screen, the Galaxy S8 Plus will come with a 6.2” display.

In these two photos, we can clearly see the cut out placement of the fingerprint scanner on one side of the rear camera. These cases confirmed an image leaked a few weeks ago by Evan Blass about these two phones. However, there are also sources claiming that these photos had gone through editing and are not reliable. For now, we can only wait till more information emerge to find out the truth.

Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus specs

Some other details about Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus specs include a Snapdragon 835 processor (the main reason while LG G6 has to use SND 821), 4/6GB RAM. We can also expect to see a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera on the device. While Samsung Galaxy S8 battery is expected to be around 3250mAh, there’s no information about the Galaxy S8 Plus battery.

There is no official confirmation from Samsung about these devices, but the Korean brand will release a 60-second ad of the phones at MWC this February. Also, according to Samsung’s tradition, the introduction of the phone will likely take place on March 29.
