We are having many reports about the launch of iPhone 7. As the recent reports, Apple iPhone 7 has been measured at the same as the iPhone 6s. That is also the same for iPhone 7 plus! Now, let’s see what will the new Apple iPhones look like?

What will Apple iPhone 7 look like?

Apple is preparing for their new Apple iPhone 7 at the end of this year. To recap, in 2016 March, Apple has launched the Apple iPhone SE with a 4.0-inch screen (123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mm), 640 x 1136 pixels resolution. Before that, in 2015 September, Apple iPhone 6s has been launched with 4.7 inches screen (138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm) , 750 x 1334 p resolution. Now, as an iPhone 7’s measurement obtained by a French website, the Apple iPhone 7 has the same length and width as the iPhone 6s.

From the picture below, you can see iPhone 7 has 4.7-inch (138.30 of length and 67.12mm of width), is the same with iPhone 6. We don’t have the information about the iPhone 7 thickness. As we know, iPhone 6s thickness is 7.1mm. So, we predict that Apple iPhone 7 will have a 7.0mm thickness. With all of the features which iPhone 7 may have, we expect that iPhone 7 price is 672$ for 16GB, $824 for 64Gb and $936 GB for 128GB.

As other reports, iPhone 7 will have a 3.5mm audio jack, Smart Connector, and dual-lens camera system. Besides, Apple iPhone 7 may have a bigger and slightly bulging camera as well as a larger sensor.The Apple iPhone 7 battery could be slightly larger and better than Apple iPhone 6s.Besides, from the reliable sources, iPhone 7 plus’s design is also the same as iPhone 6s plus.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo – Apple Securities analyst, iPhone 7 plus will not have any big changes in its design and Apple will maintain the same 6-series form for iPhone 7 plus in this year. So, we predict that iPhone 7 plus size will remain at 4.7-inch  (138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm). Maybe in 2017, we could see the Apple iPhone 8 with a larger screen and more compelling features as new OLED display, Wireless Charging, and No Home Button. Let’s wait for that!

iPhone 7 will be more waterproof, slimmer and tougher?

Recently, we have been able to spot some interesting information about he upcoming Apple iPhone 7. Accordingly, it will be equipped with waterproof capability and wireless charging tech. They consider it as a “liquidmetal” (a kind of material) iPhone 7 with a totally gorgeous design by Herman Haidin as you can see in the pictures. So, what does “liquidmetal” exactly mean?

Back in 2010, Apple acquired a patent for liquidmetal and from then on they have been using it to make small SIM ejector tool coming along with iPhone or iPad. Maybe you do not pay much attention to this little thing, but in fact, it is made of a quite special material which is a type of alloy tougher and more water-resistant than typical aluminium. So, let’s imagine if iPhone 7 2016 is also design with liquidmetal and glass, it’s gonna be super cool.

Moreover, the designer added that perhaps Apple would like to fit their new iPhone with a screen on the back. “You can use any image for the backside of your iPhone,” said he. “Back screen activization (sic) requires your eye retina scan. Also you can configure some personal vidgets for the screen.”

Apple iPhone 7 to blow everyone away with customize software and…

What should we expect from Apple iPhone 7 specs and price?

We all know Apple will be releasing a new iPhone this year and surely it’s gonna pack enhanced hardware. A new Apple chip, a big battery, 2GB RAM, a 2K display, iOS 10 and a powerful camera set are what should be on board. As for Apple iPhone 7 price, it can range from $800 to $900, which is high as usual but do you think that is reasonable?

After Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus launch, we immediately think about Apple iPhone 7. Though the iPhone 7 launch is still a year away, nothing can stop rumors and concepts from flying all over the internet. So far we’ve heard that iPhone 7 will come without a home button and now we’ve got something related to its screen, something related to OLED display.

Actually, we think the rumor can be reliable since it was from AppleInsider. Accordingly, the iPhone 7 will sport an OLED display, which means they will give up on LCD one. As we know, Apple watch is the only Apple device featuring an OLED screen nowadays and no smartphone is equipped with it. Back to 2013, Tim Cook claimed that the OLED was “awful” when it came to color saturation, which is totally different from what they are going to do with the iPhone 7 if the leak comes true. Yes, he may have changed his mind. The, what can be the reason behind this?

A possible one perhaps is that OLED display has been improved a lot compared to itself in 2013. Specifically, it is able to offer a deeper black and work without a backlight, so the smartphone containing it will be slimmer, a good idea for the upcoming iPhone 7. And we guess that LG can continue supplying Apple with OLED displays like they did for the Apple Watch.

In conclusion, changing from LCD to OLED is an awesome way to give phone users a better visual experience and Apple iPhone 7 can become more famous than its predecessors. Though, the company has not confirmed yet. So, let’s wait and see!

Is it because Apple is running out of ideas for their new products in the future?

It is said that Apple will bring changes to their iPhone handset in terms of design every 2 years, and Apple iPhone 7 may not be an exception. Recently, Apple has submitted a patent application USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office), proposing a flexible, curved display similar to the edge on Samsung Galaxy S6 edge or S6 edge Plus just launched this month.

Those edge parts are likely to have a range of various functions, including displaying necessary information (like time, weather, etc.). Besides, they will also act as virtual buttons, allowing users to switch between different modes, adjust sound volume, and so on. Moreover, the traditional home button on Apple iPhone may even be replaced with another one on the edge.

There is one example shown to illustrate what people can do with the functions on the edges. If you are listening to music, the edge of the iPhone can display a list of songs, artists or albums, and all you have to do is to scroll through.

According to some sources, Apple will probably release up to 2 devices next year, one of which will come with the standard edges for traditional users and the other will own the curved edges like what we see on Samsung Galaxy S6 edge and S6 edge Plus. 

In conclusion, Apple still has not confirmed anything. However, if this concept is coming true, it will be a big challenge for Apple since they will have to make people “forget” Samsung edge phones whenever mentioning the curved screen. Anyhow, we should be looking forward to Apple iPhone 6S this year first. There is a long period of time before iPhone 7  gets announced. Let’s wait and see!
