Pics: The 5 Stages of Loss on Ronaldo’s face vs Germany
Fifa’s Player of the Year, Christiano Ronaldo truly had a bad day yesterday. The Germans literally destroyed Portugal with 4:0. Ronaldo played a very, unsignificant game, including several very uneffective free kicks into the german defensive wall.
Eventually everything will get better for you Ronaldo, eventually 😉 Here we have the 5 Stages of grief in yesterdays Game Germany vs Portugal from Ronaldo’s Perspective:
Denial.
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance
Germany Vs Portugal: WorldCup 2014 Game Preview
Germany Vs Portugal Worldcup 2014
Today at 12.00 Midnight Malaysian Time is going to be tough for Christiano Ronaldo and his Portugal Team. Portugal can expect extreme pressure from the German Team in the Match Germany vs Portugal tonight on Monday.
The Germans always prepare crazily for their opening games. Statistics show that Germany lost only one World Cup Opener so far. Germany won 12 out of their 17 World Cup Opening Games. The lost Opener was in 1982 against Algeria, and seems to be the exceptio to the Rule, that the Germans dominate Opening Games.
Germans Head Coach Joachim Loew announced their Game Strategy for the Group G Match: Germany will play high pressure and high tempo football to wear the Portuguese down in the Brazilian Heat.
Still the Germans show respect for Portugal and especially Portugals Star, Christiano Ronaldo. Loew called Portugal’s team the “world champion in counterattacking.”
Germans Head Coach said as well about Portugal:”They are ranked just behind us at No. 4 (Germany is No. 2), and they are not just about Ronaldo,” He insisted that the Germans need to be careful because “Portugal is an extremely dangerous team.”
The World Cup History Shows that so far Germany VS Portugal Games werent so lucky for Christiano Ronaldo and Team. In 2006 World Cup Germany won 3-1 for third place, they beat Portugal 3-2 at the European Championships and 1-0 when the Euro 2012 Campaign started.
Joachim Loew insists though: “Still, they keep on reaching semifinals. They are a hard nut to crack,”
Recently there is some concern about Ronaldo’s health and fitness as well. Portugal’s star player had a left knee injury before, but now it seems that he trains normally again.
Germans Head Coach warned about Fifas player of the year: “You can’t shut him down completely, he is a player who scores 50 goals a season,” The Germans prepared especially for Ronaldo in detail: “But we’ve watched a lot of videos, we know his running patterns, how he likes to lurk behind defenders. Loew is sure that: “It has to be a team effort against him.”
When the Germans arrived in Brazil, they had to fight with a lot of injuries. In the last press conference Loew seemed confident though: “The injury situation is getting better by the day and that’s why I am in a good mood,”
Still the mutliple injuries in the German team might force them to change their lineup Strategy Vs Portugal. German’s Captain Phillip Lahm is probably moving into a more defensive role in the middlefield after missing a lot of the training camps because of this ankle injury. Another Defenisve pLayer in the middle field is Sami Khedira who has also been injured on the knee for six month.
Borussia Moenchengladbach’s Marco Reus will also not play in the WorldCup. Miroslav Klose, Germans Striker will most likely be on the bench tonight. So we will be sure that the Germans will rely much on Arsenal’s Dream Trio Mesut Özil, Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski.
Good News for the germany national football team is that the Goal Keep Manuel Neuer and as well Bastian Schweinsteiger are fit to play. Those are both essential players for the Germans.
When it comes to the German Defense there will be Jerome Boateng most likely taking Phillip Lahms Place and defening against Christiano Ronaldo. Boateng did a very good job against Ronaldo in German Victory 2012.
Overall this is Germanys 100th Game in a Worldcup and they havent lost an Opener since 1990. Its going to be extreme tough for Christiano Ronaldo’s Portuguese.
Our Tip for Germany Vs Portugal Tonight: 3:1 for Germany.

XIaomi Mi3 now for RM769 in Malaysia
Xiaomi Malaysia will cut the Price Of their Flagship smartphone to RM769, starting with their Sales tomorrow. Thats a price reduction of RM120 and a very good price for Xiaomi Mobile with quadcore Snapdragon 800 and 2GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Vs Huawei Mobiles Comparison Malaysia
The Malaysian Consumers seem to be split by the Xiaomi Price Cut. We checked out their Facebook Fanpage and a there are a lot of angry and frustrated comments. Most of them are disappointed because the price cut comes so fast after last Xiaomi Malaysia Flash Sale where they sold 10.000 MI 3 for RM889.
Xiaomi Singapore followed a similar strategy of cutting their price very fast after the launch of the MI-3 several month before.
For all of the customers that didnt buy the Xiaomi Mobile before, RM 779 is a very good price for the Specs of the XIaomi MI3. We reviewed the Xiaomi Mi3 vs S5 here
Apart from a pure strategic Move the price cut can also mean that Xiaomi Malaysia is about to introduce their other devices to the Market. They already announced that the Redmi 1S and the Redmi Note going to launch soon here. We dont think that the Xiaomi MI 3S will launch anytime soon.
Xiaomi in general is playing a very dangerous game with their Malaysian Customers. On the one hand they are creating a lot of buzz and popularity for their Smartphones. On the other hand there are a lot of angry customers already who will definitely dont be fans of Xiaomi anymore. The reasons are mainly Stock Scarcity. Many customers were just not able to buy Xiaomi Smartphones and Xiaomi Mi Powerbank so far, because it was always sold out. Read more about their Marketing Strategy here.
And if you want to buy the Xiaomi Mi 3 for RM779 tomorrow make sure to read our Buying Guide first and get your Xiaomi Account ontime.
Review of Xiaomi Vs Huawei Mobiles in Malaysia
Xiaomi vs Huawei in Malaysia
Xiaomi has made a very strong entry into Malaysia, especially because of their clever Social Media and Marketing strategy. They sell their Mi3 phones and Powerbanks exclusively via Flash Sales, and all of the stock sells out in a few minutes.
Xiaomi is not the only chinese Brand that wants to capture the Malaysian Market. Just recently Huawei launched five devices in Malaysia, the most popular their Ascend P7 Smartphone Flagship. According to Bloomberg Industries Huawei sold 13.5 million smartphones versus Xiaomi’s 10 Million smartphones worldwide for the first quarter of 2014. We give you a short overview about the top Smartphones in Malaysia.
Xiaomi MI3 vs Ascend P7
Xiaomi MI3
The Xiaomi Mi3 is extremely hot at the moment in Malaysia. For RM889 RM you get the same processor as the Samsung Galaxy S4, 2GB of RAM and a 13 Megapixel Camera with Sony BSI Sensor. Even Design wise Xiaomi invested in Aluminum Layers, which makes it look very exclusive and pricey. If you can get your hands on one this is definitely one of the hottest phones on the market.
Xiaomi Mi3 Specs:
Processor: QuadCore 2.3 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
Display:5.0 Inch with 1080×1920 pixels and 441 ppi
RAM Memory: 2GB
Storage: 16GB/64GB
Rear Camera: 13 mega-pixels
Front Camera: 2 mega-pixels
Operating System: MIUI V5
Price: RM 889
Huawei Ascend P7
The Huawei Ascend P7 just launched as a successor to the Ascend P6. Especially the Design and Camera are advantages of the Ascend P7. Design wise the Ascend P7 might very well be one of the slimmest smartphones on the market, definitely sleeker then both iPhone 5s and Samsung Galaxy S5. Huawei invested a lot in the camera technology and you get 8MP Frontcamera and Sony BSI Sensor.
Huawei Ascend P7 Specs
Processor: QuadCore 1.8 Ghz Huawei Kirin 910T
Display:5.0 Inch with 1080×1920 pixels and 440 ppi
RAM Memory: 2GB
Storage: 16GB
Rear Camera: 13 mega-pixels
Front Camera: 8 mega-pixels
Operating System: Android 4.4 KitKat
Price: RM 1499
Xiaomi MI3 vs Ascend P7 Winner:
Xiaomi MI3. The Xiaomi Mi3 is RM 550 cheaper then the Ascend P7. For that you get a signifcantly stronger Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM and 13MP Camera as well. The Ascend P7 is still a very good smartphone, but a 8MP Front Camera and a special design might not be worth the difference in hardware performance.
Huawei Honor 3C vs Xiaomi Redmi 1S
Huawei Honor 3C
The Huawei Honor 3C sells at RM499 in Malaysia. For a smartphone with 5.0 inch display, 2GB of RAM and a 8Megapixel Camera with Sony Sensor that is a very hot price. If your budget is under RM500 this might very well be the best smartphone on the market.
Huawei Honor 3C Specs
Processor: QuadCore 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6582
Display: 5.0 Inch with 720×1280 pixels pixels and 294 ppi
RAM Memory: 2GB
Storage: 8GB
Rear Camera: 8 mega-pixels
Front Camera: 5 mega-pixels
Operating System: Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
Price: RM 499
Xiaomi Redmi 1s
The Redmi 1s has a faster processor and otherwise nearly the specs as the super popular MOTO G. While the MOTO G is at RM670 the REDMI 1 is signifantly cheaper, even compared to the Honor 3C Lets wait for the launch in Malaysia to get our hands on it, but its definitely a very hot phone.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S Specs
Processor: Quad-Core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
Display: 4.7 Inch with 720×1280 pixels and 312 ppi
RAM Memory: 1GB
Storage: 8GB
Rear Camera: 8 mega-pixels
Front Camera: 2 mega-pixels
Operating System: MIUI V5
Price: RM 420 ( Not Launch Yet)
Huawei Honor 3C vs Xiaomi Redmi 1S Winner:
Huawei Honor 3C is the winner in the budget phone area. The processor of the Honor 3C might be a bit weaker, but you get a full 1GB of RAM more for 2GB. Also it sports a 5.0 inch FULL HD display and 8GB Camera. The Xiaomi Redmi 1S might still be a good choice, but the Huawei Honor 3C gives Xiaomi a run for their money.
Overall its going to stay exciting who will be the Winner in the Smartphone Market for Malaysia. Xiaomi is the Newcomer and Underdog with sophisticated Marketing and Social Media Strategys and agressive Expansion Plan. Huawei though is much longer on the market and has a lot of experience with carriers and telcom companies, that they can use to negotiate good deals for the customers. According to Shao Yang, who is the Marketing head of mobile phone divison, it is not sure yet who will be the dominating chinese brand outside China. In General he argues that there needs to be another brand to challenge the dominance of Apple and Samsung: “Two brands is not a stable architecture,”. Shao VP for Marketing at Huawei says also: “Everyone wants to have a third one. Where this third one comes from—China is a very obvious choice, because China is the biggest market.”
At the moment the big problem might be for both brands the stock availability of their devices in Malaysia, before they can dominate the Market at all.
Huawei Ascend P7 vs P6 in Malaysia
The Huawei Ascend P7 has launched officially in Malaysia. If you are looking for a high end Flagship Smartphone for a reasonable price, then you should definitely consider this Huawei mobile phone.
In this Review we will compare the Huawei Ascend P7 with the Ascend P6 and other top Smartphones. Be warned we will place a lot of Images of the Huawei Ascend P7, simply because it is definitely one of the best looking smartphones this year.
A warning: We think that after reading this article about the Huawei P7 and tis more then 650 improvements versus the P6, you will not be able to wait till you tried it yourself !
Huawei Ascend P7 Camera
On the P7 you get a full blown 8 Megapixel Front Camera. That sets new standards for taking selfies and video calling and is easy one of the highest resolutions for Front Cameras on current mobiles.
The P7 Front camera has a 5-piece aspherical lens utilizing a blue glass infrared sensor. The Infrared sensor helps to improve clarity and minimizes such problems as object deformation and purple fringing for your pictures.
Because taking Selfies is so popular at the moment, Huawei also injected a Panoramic Selfie feature, so you will be able to take selfies together with your friends.
Comparison of Front/Selfie Cameras
1st – Huawei Ascend P7: 8MP
2nd – HTC One M8: 5MP
3rd – Sony Xperia Z2: 2.2MP
4th – Samsung Galaxy S5: 2MP
5th – Apple iPhone 5s: 1.2MP
The main camera of the Huawei P7 uses Sony’s 4th generation BSI sensor with ISP lens. Sony created their BSI Sensor for use in high-performance digital cameras and it makes sure that this huawei mobile takes great pictures in night and daylight.
The P7 also has its own photo-editing suite where you can edit and process your pictures. Users can utilize Color-effect filers, audio tagging and watermarks, before easily sharing their favorite pictures on social networks or with their friends.
The 13MP Cameras also offers High definition 1080p video and 720P playback. It is clear that Huawei invested a great deal in the Camera of the P7 to make it standout from the crowd.
Huawei Ascend P7 vs P6 Design
Huawei applied a 7-layer surface treatment to the slim glass rear with a micro pattern design, thats the first time we see such a design on a smartphone so far. Through this 7-layer treatment the glass back of the Ascend P7 gets more transparency and a textured finish. The Design of the Huawei Ascend can definitely keep up with other Top Flagships like the HTC One M8.
The Power Key is located at the centeer of the phone to make the navigation with one hand easier and increase the general comfort when using the Huawei mobile.
The Huawei Ascend P7 is accentuated by rounded curves, that look like they have been inspired by nature and especially remind of a drop of water spreading on a glass surface.
While the P7 is 0.3 mm thicker then the Ascend P6 it is definitely much thinner then other Flagship Smartphones. The Ascend P7 is 1.1 mm thinner then the iPhone 5s and 1.5 mm slimmer then the Samsung S5.
Huawei Ascend P7 Software
With Huawei’s phone management you can easily manage and adjust the most important settings of your smartphone. One of the most useful features let you customize your start up screen, clean your internal memory with the storage cleaner, disable annoying notifications or scan for internal problems.
One of the Strong points of Huawei mobiles in general is their connectivity. The P7 switches automatically between 4G and 3G when browsing the internet. Huawei also incorporated two different antennas, for better connectivity and optimal signal, one antenna each on top and bottom of the device.
And which OS does the Huawei P7 have onboard. Yes, it has the newest Android OS Android v4.4 KitKat. Also Huawei updated the screen of the P7 from a 4.7 inch display on the P6 to a 5.inch HD display with pixel density of 445ppi. This pixel density is higher then all other smartphones in this review.
Huawei Ascend P7 vs P6 Hardware and Specs
The P7 sports a 1.8GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of Ram versus the 1.5 GHZ quad core processor of the P6. The internal memory of 16GB can be extended with MicroSD card, which is missing on other especially cheaper Flagships.
Processor: HiSilicon Kirin 910T Quad-Core Processor
RAM Memory: 2GB
Internal Memory: 16GB
Rear Camera: 13 mega-pixels
Selfie Camera: 8 mega-pixels
Operating System: Android 4.4.2 (KitKat)
Ultra Power Saving Mode
The P7 has a pretty clever Power Saving Mode for the 2500mAh battery. As soon as the battery runs out of power, the feature shuts down all non essential applications that are running to save battery power. You can still text and call though and Huawei claims that with this feature users will have up to 24 hours of extra standby time. If you dont want to use this feature there is still the Smart Power Saving Mode that adjusts the power usage automatically and also increases the standby time of the Huawei P7.
To further save power and battery life the Huawei mobile has a Thermal Gel cooling System to keep the processor cool. This cooling system also helps to decrease power loss and also keeps the smartphones cool for usage.
The Huawei Ascend P7 Price in Malaysia is at RM 1499 which is RM 100 more expensive versus the P6 at launch. We believe the price is still very reasonable for this new Huawei FlagShip Smartphone, especially compared to Samsung S5, iPhone 5s and other prices. What do you think about the new Ascend p7?

DiGi makes Fun of Maxis with funny Pandacorn Video
Maxis Advertising Youtube Video to promote their MaxisONE postpaid plan is quite simple in terms of messaging. We see calm waves clashing on the beach, then displaying their “liberating” new plans where you get limitless calls and sms to every number, all the time.
DiGI has recently made themselves a Name for trolling other competitors on the Internet. And it looks like they have been active again on trolling Maxis.
DiGi uses the same beach background as Maxis, before a pandacorn ( a product of a unicorn and panda) enters the video with a radio, putting on some weird beats and dancing to them. In the end of the Video there is a message which says: “Why be on an OK Internet Plan? Sign up with DG SmartPlan”. With this they clearly refer to Maxis product philosophy.
This is not the first time that DiGi has been making fun of their competitors like MAXIS. Before we actually saw some negative responses from the public, not everybody understands this kind of humor. We think its actually its a nice change to the standard advertising, as long as they dont go to far with their Trolling. Anyways we can stay put to see the next move from the DiGi Advertising Team.
Cheers 😉
XIAOMI Malaysia will have new Flash Sale on Tuesday with new Power Bank Model
Xiaomi Malaysia will have the fourth round of its flash Sales on Tuesday 10.06.2014 at 12.00 noon. Normally we would just write about this on our Social Media Channel, but there is something special about this Xiaomi Sales round. The Xiaomi Powerbank will be available in not one, but two variants for Malaysia.
For the fourth Xiaomi Malaysia Flash Sales, they will be selling finally 10.000 MI Powerbank at Tuesday 12.00 am. Additionally they will sell a smaller version of the Mi Powerbank with 10,400 mAh. The smaller Xiaomi Powerbank will have 5200 mAh and will naturally weigh less and have smaller measures.
All together thats 15.000 devices for the Xiaomi Sales on Tuesday. It seems that Xiaomi is trying to learn from their experience in Malaysia. Lastly there have been a lot of angry customers demanding more Xiaomi Mi3 and powerbank to sell for Malaysia. While 15000 units might not be enough to satisfy everybody its a step in the right direction.
The 10,400mAh Mi Powerbank will sell at RM 35, and the smaller MI Powerbank will retail at RM 25 for 5200 mAH. For now we dont know if there is still a purchase limit of two orders but we will update this article as soon as we know. Check out our BUYING GUIDE too, to make sure you are able to buy if you want.
Some time ago they also announced that they are going to launch the Xiaomi Redmi for Malaysia soon. This would be another Xiaomi Phone for the market and we are really excited to hopefully hear from the launch soon.
We will keep you updated here at Oizoioi – Malaysia’s Number 1 Price Comparison Site
Why Xiaomi’s Marketing Strategy won’t help them win in Malaysia
This Information is provided to you by Oizoioi – Malaysia’s Number 1 Price Comparison Site
Xiaomi’ Marketing Strategy in Malaysia
Xiaomi entered Malaysia with the promise of having a real alternative to the more expensive smartphones of Samsung and iPhone. Even other chinese manufacturers like Oppo cant compete with Xiaomi smartphones at very good prices for the hardware and specs on their phones. Xiaomi’s Marketing tactics these month though need to be further investigated to determine if Xiaomi is actually good for Malaysian Customers.
Xiaomi Malaysia had three flash sales so far, selling their Xiaomi MI 3 Smartphone for 889 RM and its Xiaomi MI Powerbank 10,400 mAh for 36 RM. Xiaomi sells them exclusively online on these flash sales. All three sales managed to get a incredible popularity and the devices got sold out very fast. The last 5000 units were sold out in under 2 minutes.
This Xiaomi Marketing tactic of selling the devices only on FlashSales and not regularly definitely raises popularity and demand a lot of customers get angry and frustrated. There are tons of complaints on Xiaomi’s malaysian Facebook Fanpage and in Forums. The opinion of most people is that Xiaomi creates a artifical scarcity of its devices in Malaysia to boost sales and demand.
Lets look at it from Xiaomi’s site first to be fair. Lets play Devils Advocate for a second. What does Xiaomi really gain from these FLash Sales ?
- 1. Stock scarcity spreads the words, people are worried to not get their favorite device. Xiaomi gets free marketing with that tactic and they increase demand. -> Scarcity Theory
- 2. They further create marketing hype by making scalpers think its easy for them to buy a fex Xiaomi devices and make their own profirs later
- 3. Limitation on Stock makes sure that Xiaomi has very little warehousing and supply chain cost. They can minimize their operations and warehousing cost dramatically.
- 4. Xiaomi has total control about market availability, and they can direct demand immediately by controlling exactly how many devices they import.
- 5. Scalpers are apparently part of their business strategy. They manage to buy those xiaomi items with a lot of tricks and sell it for a profit to those that couldnt order. Probably Xiaomi is watching closely to see how much they can increase their prices in future and people still buy.
- 6. Efficiency. Xiaomi achieves a big marketing boom yes. But also they have total control about warehousing, supply chain, operations and hr cost. That helps keeping the prices as low as they are.
So to sum up we can say that Xiaomi employs these Marketing tactics to keep the prices for their smartphones as incredibly low as they are. They are not targeting the Malaysian mass market for now, but tech savvy customers. These tech savvy customers know in doubt how to buy. Many will be even able to build those direct buying scripts, or maybe even pay a bit more from the scalpers.
Now lets look at it from consumer site.
Surely Xiaomi manages to boost demand. But the common thing is on every Flashsale there more customers then smartphones sold. That naturally means a lot of angry customers. Much of the anger comes from the fact that most customers could add their Xiaomi Mi 3 or Mi Powerbank to the shopping cart but after adding the payment information, the devices were sold out. Sure there were follow up sales, 3 by now, but still a lot of frustrated customers left.
Now you can say that Telco and Maxis sell the items with a two year telco contract. But surely now everyone wants to buy a expensive two year contract. So the only real alternative to buy a Xiaomi smartphone in Malaysia is to wait for the flashsales.
Worsening the matter, from consumer perspective ar definitely scalpers. Those crappy creatures manage to buy several Xiaomi Mi 3 phones and Mi Power Banks at once, only to sell them later for way higher prices. The highest Xiaomi Mi 3 sold we saw, was for 1400 RM, more then 500 RM more expensive then the original. Often these scalpers use buying scripts and dirty tricks to have several orders in. With this behaviour they make it impossible for other customers to buy.
Xiaomi has tried to limit the exposure of scammers with limiting the maximum orders to one Xiaomi MI 3 and two Mi Powerbanks but that barely helps. It would help more if they would extend the time that the phones are available, avoiding server issues meanwhile like on the second sales.
The main argument of people that are pro Xiaomi’s Strategy is, that they provide a valid alternative for local customers in buying a high end smartphone for reasonable prices in Malaysia. That is simply not true. To be an real alternative the Xiaomi phones would need to be availble permanently in Malaysia. Instead they are having short Flash Sales, leaving a lot of customers disappointed and angry. This leaves most of the customers still only the alternative to buy an Apple or Samsung Phone, if they can afford it.
We could understand if Xiaomi just creating a Marketing Buzz while reinvesting their profits in building better manufacturing and providing more phones for the Mass Market. It seems that their are not though. Xiaomi China has been using the Flash Sales Model as only Way of Sales for 4 years now and it seems like they wont be going away from it anytime soon.
Summing up we can say that Xiaomi Malaysia has been very successful in creating a buzz around their brand and selling those devices that they had available. Meanwhile they are disappointing a ton of customers and fans and getting a big step away from competing for the Mass Market with Samsung, Apple and Sony. If Xiaomi is happy with limiting devices to a small elite mass and frustrating the Mass Market they should keep on with that strategy. We think so it would best if they change their Scarcity Marketing Tactics.
Xiaomi has great smartphones that is their strong point at unbeatable prices. Why not take the bet and offer their great devices to everybody. We dont really believe that they need to keep their flash Sales Model to be able to compete. After all smartphones are not that expensive to produce and Apple and Samsung have huge profit Margins on their phones. It would be great if Xiaomi finally comes to the battelfield with Apple and Samsung. This would have the effect that Malaysian and worldwide customers truly have an alternative to these overprices smartphones. Xiaomi if you hear us – Please go for it and dont go down the way of Samsung, taking profits over your loyal fans and customers.
