Siswoo R9 Darkmoon: 64-Bit , 3GB RAM and FHD Dual Screens!
Siswoo China has just introduced a new smartphone with two-sided display called Siswoo R9 Darkmoon. This reminds us of Yotaphone 2 which is also a dual screen phone of Russia. However, Siswoo R9 Darkmoon has its own special features to attract people, and perhaps it can create a new trend in the mobile market.
Siswoo R9 Darkmoon Specs:
First of all, it is said that R9 Darkmoon quite looks like OnePlus One with a main display of 5-inch (1920×1080, 401ppi) IPS OGS one without physical home button. Nonetheless, Darkmoon’s back cannot be mistaken. It is a 4.7-inch white E-ink screen with qHD (540×960) resolution, and the brand’s name placed at the bottom of the back, which makes us feel like the phone’s rear is another front display of the device. Furthermore, it can serve many common purposes such as reading e-books, surfing the internet, checking emails, etc. effectively with less power than the main one.
Darkmoon is powered by a Mediatek MT6752 64-bit octa-core 1.7GHz processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. Users may feel satisfied with its battery due to the capacity of 3,000mAh. About camera, this device owns a combo of 13MP rear cam with LED flash and 8MP front shooter and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. Some other features are dual SIM slots, 4G LTE support, WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0. In addition, the R9 Darkmoon comes with white and black for consumers to choose.
In terms of Siswoo R9 Darkmoon price, it is not confirmed yet, but so far it has been reported to cheaper than the Russian dual screen phone Yotaphone 2. If this turns out to be true, the Siswoo’s product can be priced about $500 (which means the Siswoo R9 Darkmoon price Malaysia is around RM1805) since YotaPhone 2 price is $683.
What if Siswoo R9 Darkmoon Malaysia is coming to our country? Do you think it can compete with other smartphones and impress people? Share with us your opinion!

Xiaomi US and Europe: Mi official online store launch
Xiaomi is a Chinese company that is developing day by day thanks to consumers’ love for their affordable, creative smartphones with good specs. As a result, the fact that they want to expand to the global market is easy to understand. At the beginning of this year, there has been information saying that Xiaomi was aiming at the US and Europe market, and planning to bring Xiaomi products there first and then to various parts of Europe later.
Xiaomi US and Europe
First, they have established Mi.com website displaying many kinds of Xiaomi devices such as Mi Band, Mi Power Bank (5,000mAh and 10,400 mAh) and Mi Headphones, yet it is not until this month that the website will be really working out. The company has made an announcement recently that the Mi online store at Mi.com/store is going live at 7P.M. PST on 18 May in the US and at 1P.M. CET on 19 May in the Europe.
Apart from this good news, consumers also should note that Xiaomi smartphones will not be sold on this page at the present; only accessories will. Secondly, those who want to order from Mi online store need to be ones living in the US, the UK, France, and Germany. It is also said that there will be limits to the number of available accessories, and once all of the things are sold out, no one would know the exact time when the manufacturer will make the stock full again. Last but not least, buyers will have to wait for their order since it will be shipped from China.
For customers in general, they can check out the products on the website with no need to register, but if they want to order any product, they will have to create an account on Xiaomi’s registration website. So far we are aware that available devices on the store are the Mi Headphones which is priced at $79.99, 5000mAh Power Bank $9.99, 10400mAh Power Bank $13.99, and the Mi Band $14.99. That’s for now, but in the future hopefully Xiaomi will put on more of their outstanding and new smartphones this year like Xiaomi Mi4i, Mi4, or Redmi Note Malaysia for Europe and the U.S.

To recap, we would like to congratulate Xiaomi US on the Mi online store’s operation this month in the US and Europe.
Oukitel U8: Gorgeous, 5.5″, 64-BIT octa-core, 2GB RAM for RM502
Recently, there is a new smartphone that is said to look like Elephone P7000 called Oukitel U8, or also known as Universe Tap. Just like the nickname, the manufacturer confirmed that this is a device using “tap” fingerprint sensor placed on the back of the phone to unlock the phone instead of sliding your finger over it.
Let’s take a look at Oukitel U8 Specs:
Oukitel U8 is a 2.5D-curved-glass-over phone with finishes made of aluminum alloy and housing made of plastic. Apart from its interesting design, U8 includes 5.5” 720p IPS screen, a combo of 13 mega-pixel rear camera and 5 mega-pixel front camera, 2GB RAM, Mali-T720 GPU, 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 16GB of storage but it can be expanded up to 128GB thanks to a microSD card slot. So, Oukitel U8 is an absolutely new name in the mobile market, but it knows how to draw people’s attention to what it can offer. Specifically, two remarkable things that should be mentioned first are Oukitel U8 fingerprint sensor, kind of similar to Elephone P7000, and Oukitel U8 price.
First of all, we can notice that the finger scanner is placed under the rear camera and in the centric position of the phone’s upper part like Elephone P7000. Nonetheless, U8’s scanner is a square while P7000’s is a round.
In terms of price, the company has set a good price for their product at the initial stages. The device will go on sale for $139.99, which means Oukitel U8 price in Malaysia will be around RM502, in the period of presale from 15 to 21 May here. After that, U8 price will increase as what is described in the following picture.
Though it is obviously an affordable phone with good specs, that Oukitel U8 Universe Tap can become a strong competitor to other smartphones in its kind is still a question. Yet, how about you? If you are about to buy a new smartphone, will you take this friendly-budget Oukitel U8 into consideration?

Lately, Vivo has confirmed X5 Pro price tag for Chinese market, which is 2598 Yuan ($419), equivalent to RM1,490 for a Vivo X5 Malaysia. Much likely that Vivo is planning to release the Vivo X5 Pro internationally between now and July. X5 Pro price in Malaysia can probably be kept the same.

In addition to the all-new Dolby Atmos tech, other Lenovo A7000 specs will also make it a strong competitor under RM750. Let’s take a quick view of its specs:
