Meizu M2 Note has been launched and available in Malaysia recently. And now, we are looking forward to the upcoming new phone by Meizu: Meizu M2. It is also considered as a smaller version of Meizu M2 Note, but of course, there are differences that we need to know.

Specifically, Meizu M2 is the successor to Meizu M1 and Meizu M2 launch is going to happen in on July 29, 2015. Lately, a retailer listing has been spotted with some Meizu M2 specs and prices.

Spec-wise, Meizu M2 will feature a 5-inch HD display and a 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 SoC chip together with quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU. In additional, there are 16GB of storage, a 2,500mAh battery,but that is quite different from what we saw in TENAA report. It said that M2 would sport a 2,700,mAh cell.

Apart from the above info, we have no idea about the official RAM, camera as well as the dimensions of the handset. According to previous leaks, Meizu M2 will come with 2GB RAM and a combo of 13MP main and a 5MP selfie snapper. Moreover, the phone will be thin at 8.7mm and made of plastic.

Recently, the research director for IHS Technology China – Kevin Wang told to manufacturers on the Weibo page that it is safe to employ the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset on upcoming smartphone models. This seems to be good news for those who are looking forward to Snapdragon 820 phones.

Months ago,  Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 was found in the Geekbench 3 scores database. It is closely as powerful as the Exynos 7420 performance.

Previously, it is said that the Snapdragon 810’s propensity is overhear. Then, tipster Ticciolo sent out a tweet of information that the Snapdragon 820 phones will struggle the same heating problems as the last processor Snapdragon 810. In fact, Snapdragon 810 overheating issue has made many phone users worried.

Nevertheless, Mr . Wang confirm that the heat problems have been solved with the latest development of Snapdragon 820. The four custom cores and 14mm process used on it will prevent the chip from running into the overheating problems.

In addtition, The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 is supposed to be completeted in the end of this year. A Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang spread the information on his Weibo page that Xiaomi Mi 5 will be the first device to be equipped the chip when it releases on March 2016. The followed devices might be Asus PadFone S2, Sony as well as HTC brand.

The new leaked image of Golden Galaxy Note 5 gave us an specific idea of how the phablet will look like. Recently, there’s been a lot of speculation regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 flagship and its hardware in particular.  A set of benchmark results also confirm some rumours about the Note 5’s power.

According to a screenshot of an anonymous tipster, we have received info of this  tablet that CPU-Z will run on a Note 5.

 Interm of the international version with the model number SM-N920F. As has  been rumored before, this iteration of the next Galaxy Note will indeed come  sporting Samsung’s own Exynos 7422 chipset. This chipset is the improvement of  Exynos 7420 running inside the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. Exynos 7422 will be the  company’s first ever all-in-one chip with the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage and modem  all together on the same slate under the hood.

 Moreover, it should be the first Samsung-made silicon to feature the modem on  the same chip as the CPU and GPU.

 It’s confirmed that the Note 5 will have 4GB RAM. It’s also going to have 32GB  of internal storage in this version, though it is not sure whethere or not the  microSD card slot will be supported.

 The phablet screen seems to be kept identical to the Galaxy brand’s phablet. The  Note 5 will have the 5.7-inch QHD panel and receive the upgraded tech for sure.

 The device tested is also running Android Lollipop 5.1.1, which hints at the  operating system the Galaxy Note 5 will probably ship with.

There were some live images of a purported Galaxy Note 5 showed that it won’t get an auto-eject mechanism for the S Pen stylus. About the handset announcement, we haven’t had the exact releasing date, though it is expected to be announced in the mid-August.

On July 31, OnePlus will open pop-up stores in New York, San Francisco, London, Paris, Berlin, Milan, New Delhi, Bangalore, and Jakarta . On August 11, the device will be on sale in US, Canada, India, EU, and China, followed by Southeast Asia in Q4 2015.

Retail price will be at USD 329 (about RM1,256 as the OnePlus 2 price in Malaysia) for the 16GB / 3GB RAM model and USD 389 (RM1,485) for the 64GB / 4GB RAM.
