Google out Android N Preview starting today
While Android 6.0 Marshmallow is still being updated on lotsa smartphones, Google has released a preview version of Android N lately, which surprised people a lot.
Android N: Another “delicious” dessert for you!
Recently, Google let people see their first Developer Preview of the upcoming Android N operating system. And yes, it comes with a letter before being officially launched as usual, and we bet it is also a kind of dessert and the final name will be out in the next months. But, what’s your opinion? Nutella or… Okay, maybe later!
Talking about one important new thing on Android N OS, it is said to be the addition of a multi-window mode, or like what some others call it: “split-screen multitasking”. Speaking specifically, developers will incorporate the mode into their apps by using a “manifest attribute” and it will turn out to be what you see in the pictures. Tablets, smartphones and even televisions will all be able to get this feature, especially TVs can sport a “picture-in-picture mode”.
Besides, there are also some other interesting things about the Android N you need to know. Say, the upcoming OS will allow you to reply to incoming requests directly from the notification. Moreover, developers will be able to group notifications of the same app together and each of them can be expanded into individual ones by pressing an expansion button or using a two-finger gesture. And you should note that Doze Mode in Android N will be improved as well to make the device’s standby battery life better.
How to download Android N?
The last question is how to download Android N. Google did publicly post factory images for the Android N Developer Preview. And please keep in mind that they are only available for products like Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9,Nexus Player, plus Pixel C for now, and for developers to “fiddle with”, not for daily use. At the moment, there is a special page where you can sign up for the new Android Beta Program. Hopefully we will see a full version of the new Android OS soon.

Apple working on a 5.8 inch iPhone 7 with OLED display?
Earlier rumors had suggested that Apple is preparing to launch a new 4.7 inch iPhone in the near future. Today, we hear that, the company is working on another model, which has a bigger screen of up to 5.8 inch …
New iPhone model: 5.8 inch and OLED display
According to Digitimes, Apple is planning on producing a bigger model of iPhone, which will feature a 5.8 inch OLED display. Ever since we heard that Apple had the intention to adapt OLED screen for their smartphone, the internet has been guessing when it will be ready to launch. If it’s true to what we are guessing, we will soon see this new option on iPhone soon. The time could be right now or any time in the near future.
Also in the same article, Digitimes mentioned that, the 5.8 inch iPhone could be named iPhone Pro. No further word about the iPhone Pro specs, or its design has been unveiled. However, from what we know about Apple, it won’t be too much to say iPhone Pro will have an awesome design with premium rears and a classy look. However, looks like we will not see iPhone Pro with 5.8 inch display any time sooner than 2017.
For the time being, Apple is believed to debut their rumored 4.7 inch handset, the iPhone SE, on March 21st. Apple iPhone SE will run over A9 chipset. The chip was ranked 2nd in the list of top 10 smartphone processors, by Antutu several days earlier, and only behind Snapdragon 820 by Qualcomm.
5.8 inch iPhone: continuing Apple’s good name
Apple iPhone, despite all the controversies, is still one of the most popular and best selling smartphones in our market today. With a brand new display size of up to 5.8 inch, this iPhone 7 Pro is expected to catch huge attention from users around the world when it is launched, allegedly in 2017.
Huawei P9 VS HTC 10: April’s premium flagships are coming!
Huawei P9 and HTC 10 are about to debut in the next weeks, coming with powerful 4GB of RAM, latest Snapdragon 820 chips, and many other top specifications. But, which one is the stronger? Check out the following comparison now!
Huawei P9 VS HTC 10: Flagships born in the same month but…
Though both of them have not been official yet, they were all leaked in some live pictures. Basing on them, we’re sure that the P9 and the 10 will be gorgeous in metal bodies with some particular highlights of their own. Anyway, to help you imagine how they look more easily, we can say that Huawei P9 design will be similar to Huawei P8, its predecessor, while HTC 10 design is like HTC One A9.
Spec-wise, basically HTC 10 is said to sport a 5.15-inch 2K AMOLED screen, HTC Sense UI based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, a Snapdragon 820 chip, 32GB ROM (expandable up to 200GB), and 4GB RAM. In addition to HTC 10 specs, there are a 12MP main camera with UltraPixel tech, a USB Type-C port, a fingerprint scanner built in its physical home button, and Quick Charge 3.0 (83% in 30 min.). So, in general, this is an excellent flagship from HTC in 2016, yet let’s see if it can beat Huawei’s coming flagship!
Huawei P9 specs include a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS-NEO LCD display, Emotion UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a HiSilicon Kirin 950 chipset, a USB Type-C port, a fingerprint scanner, 16/64GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB) paired with 3GB RAM. If we stop here, no doubt HTC 10 is the better. Nonetheless, in terms of photography, maybe P9 will have more advantages thanks to its dual rear cam setup consisting of two 12MP sensors and Leica lenses and 8MP selfie snapper. Besides, under the hood, there is a none-removable 3,900mAh battery to fuel the whole machine. Since HTC 10 battery is still unknown for now, we cannot decide which one is more powerful at this point.
Huawei P9 VS HTC 10: Price and availability
Obviously HTC 10 is the stronger smartphone here, but it would also mean that HTC 10 price is very likely to be much higher than Huawei P9 price which can be around $400. As for their release dates, they are reported to be in April, so let’s save your choice until then. Anyhow, we can’t wait to get my hands on one of them. How about you?
