Samsung Galaxy Note 5 hands-on: Queen of the Notes

This year, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 came along with Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus. It is said to be more advanced than its predecessor Samsung Galaxy Note 4. However, due to lack of microSD card slot and a big battery, the Note 5 did not receive much positive feedback.

In general, Galaxy Note 5 design looks like the original Samsung Galaxy S6 in the front surface and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge in the rear. When compared to the Note 4, the 5 is more sturdy with a stronger mental frame.

In terms of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 specs, there is actually not many differences in comparison with the duo Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge specs. The phone still uses the Exynos octa-core chip. One advanced feature here is the powerful 4GB RAM LDDDR4 and the internal storage has been changed to the UFS 2.0 standard enabling faster transferring speed.

On the other hand, the S-Pen is also a plus for the Note 5. Samsung improved the pen a lot to make it a useful companion. You do not have to pull it out of the silo like before. There is a small button on the handset; you just need to press it and slowly take the pen out. Nonetheless, some people think that the new way does not really help except bringing a more modern and interesting feeling.
