Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be the next smartphone with curved display
After Xiaomi Mi4s and Mi5, you may wonder what is coming up next. How about Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with a curved display? It’s a great idea, isn’t it?
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be a Chinese version of Samsung Galaxy S7 edge?
Those who love smartphones in general and Xiaomi products in particular are paying attention to the new Xiaomi Mi4s and Xiaomi Mi5. But perhaps they will get even more excited when knowing that the next Xiaomi flagship handset is on the way, and it can be Mi Note 2, according to a source in China. If so, it definitely the successor to the famous duo Mi Note and Mi Note Pro launched last year.
Apart from the above information, there is a special detail impressing us much. Apparently, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 display will be curved. In other words, the phone’s design is very similar to Samsung edge series, whose latest member is Samsung Galaxy S7 edge introduced at MWC 2016 last month. However, we’re not sure whether it will sport edge features like the S7 edge or not. Hopefully yes, so that consumers can have more options.
Spec-wise, the device is expected to boast a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen with up to 554 ppi, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, a USB Type-C port, Android 6.0 OS, a fingerprint scanner, 4 GB of RAM paired with 16-64 GB of expandable ROM. Besides, the main camera will be capable of 16 megapixels while the selfie one is 6 megapixels, excellent enough for beautiful pictures, right?!
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 price and availability
So, those are some info as well as expectations for the upcoming flagship of Xiaomi, and we really hope to see a useful curved display on this machine. As for Xiaomi Mi Note 2 release date, it has not been mentioned yet, but we guess it can be soon, say, in the Q2 or Q3 of 2016. In terms of price tag, since the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 specs will be more advanced, we’re sure the cost has to be more than $310, which is the current Xiaomi Mi Note price. Let’s wait and see!

As for HTC Nexus price, it is predicted to cost around $400, yet do you think that’s a reasonable number? Share with us your opinions!
