This is a 3GB RAM phone with more than 4000mAh batter for just $119.99
Cubot Dinosaur is a new budget smartphone in the mobile market. However, don’t look down on its hardware as it is also as strong as a “dinosaur”…
Cubot Dinosaur specs and design
Cubot is one of the Chinese companies famous for producing budget smartphones with good specifications. They are back to the mobile market with a dinosaur… we mean a model called Cubot Dinosaur. In fact, that is an impressive name for a handset and of course will come along with many expectations for its hardware. But, don’t worry! The Dinosaur won’t let you down.
It is because Cubot Dinosaur specs own the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box, a quad-core MediaTek MT6735A 1.3GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via micrSD card). To take photos, you can use either its 13MP rear (with LED flash) or 5MP selfie snapper. They are surely good-enough cameras to bring you great shots. In addition, there is a massive 4,150mAh battery under the hood to supply energy to the whole machine.
In general, Cubot Dinosaur is a decent device, yet there is one feature we wish it could be different. That is the 5.5-inch HD display on the front surface of the phone. Despite being fair enough, it would be much better if a Full HD one were on board. Do you agree?
Cubot Dinosaur price and availability
According to the firm, Cubot Dinosaur will be going on pre-sale from April 26, 2016 with a super low price at $119.99. You can choose among White, Black and Gold color, and moreover, a mysterious gift worth $35 will also be given to you for every pre-order as well. Does it sound interesting? Important signs showing that high MP camera is no longer the trend in 2016
What can be the most important trend in our smartphone industry this year in terms of camera? We cannot tell for sure now, but there are 3 signs showing that cam with more megapixels is no longer the star in 2016…
3 signs showing that high MP camera is no longer the trend in 2016
First of all, you can see that most famous flagships launched in the H1 of 2016 have lower-resolution cameras compared to their predecessors. Specifically, we’ve got Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge, Huawei P9 and HTC 10 coming with 12MP rear snappers. Or, the latest models of Apple – iPhone 6S, 6S Plus and iPhone SE, all pack 12MP shooters as well, and have been receiving much positive feedback from users for the high-quality photos.
But, of course, the manufacturers didn’t just reduce the MP and did nothing to improve their cams. Many kinds of technologies have been created to make sure people’s experience in taking pictures become more gorgeous. Like Samsung, they equip their handsets with Dual Pixel Autofocus tech which allows for “fast shooting while making sure that a great image quality is produced, “regardless of lighting conditions.” In case of HTC 10, it owns UltraPixel 2 tech that can bring a quick and accurate autofocus, good exposure, white balance, and noise reduction in low-light conditions. And Huawei P9’s got a dual main snapper setup supported by the premium German camera company Leica.
So, those are two essential signs, yet if you want some proof, here it is. Lately, Samsung Galaxy S7 edge’s primary shooter has been selected as the best in the world by DxOMark, “the trusted industry standard for camera and lens image quality measurements and ratings.” Last year, the title went to Sony Xperia Z5’s 23MP cam.
New trend in 2016
2016 is considered as a year of camera-centric smartphones. Many mobile makers have chosen to develop their products by giving them the most modern and excellent technologies, not more megapixels. As a result, in the rest of 2016, we may see more and more devices like that. What do you think?
Drasphone – most impressive flexible smartphone ever
Drasphone – the device we are about to introduce right now – is an exciting smartphone concept that turns into a metal lighter. Seems like flexible smartphone is becoming a trend now….
Drasphone – folding phablet with clever design
Before this Drasphone, we have seen more than one smartphone concept which are bendable. However, this one is such an original and unique idea. The phone comes with a clamshell and is able to bend at 3 points, not just one. Normally, it looks like a perfect mobile device. Once folded, it becomes as tiny and handy as a lighter, which stays perfectly fit in your pocket. Looking at the pictures below, you can see how easy it is to do a complete fold on this.
Visually, the phone (on original size) looks like a phablet with a big screen. There is a full metal body that has a series of bands between the segments. They are obviously functions as the joint for folding the device into such a tiny object. The camera module is located cleverly that even after folding, it is still getting the exposure and capable of taking photo. However, from what we see, seems like there is no flash for the back camera.
Besides these, you can clearly see the sign of a dual front speakers and 3 physical buttons on the rear. Other than a very detailed look into the design and how this Drasphone function as a full sized tablet and a tiny lighter, there is no further information about this Drasphone specs to be spotted.
Drasphone – foldable devices are trendy
Before Drasphone, we have got to know more than one smartphone concepts that feature as foldable devices. However, this is very new to us to see such a smartphone that can be folded into such a tiny handset. How many of you want to have this mobile in real life?
HTC One M7 vs M8 vs M9 vs HTC 10: How HTC flagships developed
HTC has just released their newest flagship HTC 10 (aka HTC One M10). We wonder whether it is a real more advanced smartphone than its predecessors HTC One M7, M8, and M9 or not. If you feel like us, check out the following comparison to get the result!
HTC One M7 vs M8 vs M9 vs HTC 10: How HTC flagships developed
Design-wise, looking at the picture above shows us that the first three handsets look pretty alike while the last one, or the latest one, does carry a different design language. Obviously, the familiar large dual front-facing speakers, big main camera and curved back no longer exist on the HTC 10. Instead, it has a physical home button equipped with a fingerprint sensor underneath, a smaller shooter, and a flat back with rounded edges. We think it is more elegant and comfortable in hands than before. But, what’s your opinion?
Apart from the appearances, their specifications are also different in a good way. Successor always seems more powerful than predecessor thanks to boasting the latest features and technologies of their time. To get a clear view, let’s have a look at the following spec table:

No doubt HTC 10 is the best so far with 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 chip, world-class camera, Hi-Res audio tech, and 2K screen. It seems like most of the strongest specifications you can wish for a smartphone today are included in the 10. Hopefully, with this model, HTC can earn more success in 2016.

Samsung Galaxy S7 vs LG G5 in a blind camera test
Obviously, both smartphones come with great shooter technologies that are promising to bring you brilliant pictures. However, there is definitely one at least slightly better than the other, and the camera comparison conducted by phonearena will tell us the result. Speaking more specifically, it was a blind test in which they put six scenes and invited readers to vote on. Of course, they did not know which handset took which photo.
So, before coming to the final result, let us recap a bit on the machines’ hardware as well as their rear snappers. In general, Samsung Galaxy S7 specs and LG G5 specs are cool with always-on displays, Quad HD resolution, 4GB RAM, Qualcomn Snapdragon 820 chipets, Android Marshmallow OS, fingerprint scanners, and microSD card slots. On the other hand, we also need to mention the one that LG G5 was the more excellent: camera’s low-light capability. (Source: phonearena)
A Nokia smartphone in 2016 would be a BAD IDEA
A Nokia smartphone launched in 2016 is being anticipated by a lot of people out there. However, there unavoidably verdicts around this matter. Specifically, Android Authority recently had an article claiming that…
“A Nokia smartphone would be a bad idea”
In their article, Android Authority explained the reasons why they don’t think a new Nokia smartphone will do well in the market of today. Before moving to our discussion, let me briefly wrap up the original idea from the source. First of all, after a while absent from the market, it would take Nokia a long time and tough road to catch up with the pace. Secondly, with other brands having their own names growing fast, the competition will be real harsh on Nokia. Moreover, the company had failed once at the last smartphones made with Microsoft. This means a new and very careful strategy is a must to change their situation and do magic this time.
The points mentioned in the original sound very convincing. When you carefully consider our market right now, you may also agree that the situation does not seem very beneficial for Nokia. For the years Nokia was, other companies thrived to prove their product quality and became more and more popular among users. Moreover, being absent for such a long time should turn Nokia into a complete stranger: they don’t know how the latest Android works, they don’t actually know how a phone is produced.
Familiarity to the users, trusted reviews from previous products, updated trendy features suitable to its price. These are things Nokia definitely lacks. This make Nokia look like very unready for the game ahead. However, with a long time of experience from the past, a huge brand name that everyone loves and trust, will Nokia make miracle this time?
A Nokia smartphone: the pressure is intense
The return of giant will mark a very important event to our smartphone market. Excited as we are, many are still worried for their favorite brand, since the competition is definitely tough in 2016. Which side are you in? Is a Nokia smartphone at this time a good or bad idea?
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium now comes with PINK variant
After a long time being the center of attention, Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has gone a bit silent after their official release. However, the company just announced an unexpected news: the phone comes with pink variant
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Pink: direct rival to iPhone 6S Plus?
The first company that succeeded in launching a pink variant for their flagship was Apple. Remember when iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were released, both became a huge hit in the market with their gorgeous rose gold color. After such a victory, many other producers like Oppo, HTC etc have started to follow the trend. However, the fact that Sony is also launching a pink version of the Z5 Premium is quite a surprising and interesting piece of news.
Z5 Premium is the most high-end smartphone in the Z5 series Sony launched in late 2015. The smartphone comes with a beautiful monolithic design. It is also known for being the first mobile to support 4K display in the world. Besides basic color options like black, gold and silver, Sony outed this pink variant in the second week of April. The new color targets a big part of female users who love fashion and want to have a smartphone that fits their personality
Specs wise, Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a 5.5 inch display with IPS LCD screen. The mobile support 4K display when viewing photos and videos. There is a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage to power the phone. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium camera with 23MP resolution was the best smartphone camera in 2015, before Samsung launched Galaxy S7 Edge and took over the title.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium – pink for fashion lover
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium price for the pink version is the same with other siblings. The price fluctuates in different market but stays around $750 to $800. Do you feel attracted by this new color? Any pink lover out there would love to have this one?
