The fastest Deca-core processor: MediaTek Helio X30 Exposure
MediaTek plans to release another model of processor next year: MediaTek Helio X30 Exposure. This is really exciting, because the new model is going to be the fastest Deca-core processor in the market!
A much improved successor of Helio X25
MediaTek plans to launch a new model of Deca-core processor – the MediaTek Helio X30 Exposure – in 2017. The Chinese processor manufacturer had some information leaks, from which we learnt a thing or two about the successor of Helio X25. The processor will be made using 10 nanometer (10 nm) manufacturing process. This is actually good news, because the current technological high point is only at 14 nm (as seen with Snapdragon 820).
According to the information leaks, the number of cores might be the same (10 cores!), while the number of frequency can be different. Furthermore, the system on chip (SoC) is said to have the cores organized in the same way as in the previous Helio X25: a Tri-cluster arrangement. The Chinese company also plans to use to a PowerVR 7XT quad-core GPU, which is also the model used in our today’s Apple iPhone 6.
The information leaks also let us know that the company might also produce an overclocked model of the processor under the name of Helio X35. This version will also be using 10 nm manufacturing process, and it might have a higher frequency. Although higher GHz might also mean larger power consumption and, thus, produces more heat.
MediaTek Helio X30: a processor to look forward to!
With the information leaks, we can be sure that MediaTek will have better models of Deca-core processors to give us. However, we also hope that the new Helio X30 model will not have heating problems like in the Helio X10 and Helio X20. Let us know what you think about the new Helio X30 model. We will update you as we get more details of MediaTek Helio X30!
iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S7 Edge :The World’s Most powerful phones
Today we’ll show you the “7 battle”: Apple iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S7 Edge. Galaxy S7 Edge comes with many innovative features. Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 got impressive benchmark scores and become the King of Antutu.
Apple iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S7 Edge: performance + design
Generally, both phones become the most powerful devices by their own ways. Samsung Galaxy S7 is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 8890 processor. The phone also has another version with Quad-core Qualcomm SnapDragon 820. Both of them are powerful processors. However, we pick the Exynos version in this comparison because it is more popular than the SnapDragon version. Talking about iPhone 7, it is now working on Apple home-made chipset: a quad-core Apple A10 Fusion. Besides, Apple iPhone 7 features 2GB RAM while that is 4GB RAM on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
So you might think that Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is definitely the stronger phone, when it has double RAM and double cores. However, the true will make you surprised. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge got 128, 191 Antutu scores. Meanwhile, iPhone 7 got 178,397 scores which are 40% higher than Galaxy S7 Edge’s. With this impressive result, iPhone 7 even becomes the King of Antutu at present. The quad-core CPU on the iPhone 7 also uses less power than the octa-core on Galaxy S7 Edge. So, with a smaller RAM and fewer cores, Apple iPhone 7 is still the winner in the performance battle.
In terms of the design, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge gets the higher evaluation than its counterpart. It is designed with a dual-curved screen. This year, iPhone 7 make users feel a bit..disappointed when it isn’t too different from the iPhone 6. Although Apple adds two new Jet Black and Matte Black colour version, that’s not enough when thinking it is the latest Apple iPhone. However, iPhone 7 is half a millimetre thinner than the S7 Edge. It is also lighter (4.87 ounces), compared to Galaxy S7 Edge’s (5.54 ounces). Nonetheless, if you are finding the best look phone, Galaxy S7 Edge seems to be the better choice. Besides the nicer design, the S7 Edge also comes with the bigger battery than the iPhone 7 (3600 mAh vs 2900 maH).
Apple iPhone 7 vs Galaxy S7 Edge: The price
About Apple iPhone 7 price, the 128GB version cost $729. With the same onboard storage of 128GB, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge price is slightly higher, at $747. So, Apple iPhone 7 come to this battle with stronger performance, the thinner and lighter body. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge gets better design along with a bigger battery. So, did you find your winner?
Not one, but EIGHT iPhone 7 vs 7 Plus have been bought for… a dog!
iPhone 7 vs 7 Plus have just been officially released a week ago and we’ve just received a shocking news about them: The son of China’s richest man has bought not one, but iPhone 7 vs 7 Plus for his … pet dog!
iPhone 7 vs 7 Plus for dog: How insane it is!
Are you… jealous with the dog? It makes sense if you think so! Lately Chinese media has been overwhelmed with information about a dog receiving not one but EIGHT iPhone 7 vs 7 Plus. This dog is no other than Coco – the pet dog of Wang Sicong – the only Son of Wang Jianlin – the current richest person in China! On 16th this month, Sicong posted a photo of his dog lying besides 8 latest iPhone models.
The post then has drawn lots of attention from Chinese media. The photos are even displayed on China’s famous websites like Nbeta.com and On.cc. Thousands of comments have been made. Some says that the dog is cure; others say that they can’t even live as well as … a dog! This is not the first time Coco was “spotted” with luxurious stuff like this. In May 2015, a photo of Coco wearing two Apple watches were posted on the same Weibo account.
So who’s the owner? Is he just a foolish show-off? As mentioned above, Wang Sicong is the son of China’s richest man, but he is not just a young foolish man who lives on his father. In fact, he has used £53 million from his father to invest in 22 different companies and now his own fortune is nearly 9 times higher: £430 million (nearly RM. 2 billion)
iPhone 7 vs 7 Plus: Price
For those who haven’t known, iPhone 7 price in China is around 6,988 yuan (RM. 3700) and iPhone 7 Plus price is around 7,988 yuan (RM. 4300). So overall Sicong has spent RM. 32.000 for his dog! Such a dedicated pet owner he is!

UMi Max vs Meizu M3 Max: 3GB RAM, 4000mAh battery and…
Both UMi Max vs Meizu M3 Max have just been officially confirmed lately with interesting specs. Today let’s make a comparison between these two to see which one is the better 3GB RAM phone!
UMi Max vs Meizu M3 Max: 3GB RAM budget phones
First of all let’s talk about the performance. UMi Max vs Meizu M3 Max are similar to each other when it comes to chipset and RAM. To be more specific, they both house an octa-core Helio P10 chipset which is comprised of a quad-core 1.8GHz and a quad-core 1.0GHz. Besides, they carry the same amount of RAM: 3GB. They even have Mali-T860 GPU in common! So there’s no winner in this aspect!
Secondly let’s consider the camera. It’s such a coincidence that UMi Max vs Meizu M3 Max arrive with the same camera resolution: 13MP on the back and 5MP on the front! The main cameras of them are also equipped with phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. However, regarding the selfie shooter, UMi Max is better because its 5MP front camera supports autofocus, which is lack from that of Meizu M3 Max.
Now it’s time to consider the rest of UMi Max specs and Meizu M3 Max specs. In terms of battery, the Meizu phone wins with it 4100mAh cell – 100mAh more than that of the UMi phone. Regarding the storage, Meizu M3 Max wins again thanks to its 64GB of on-board storage (+256GB), while UMi Max offers only 16GB ROM (+128GB). As for the display, both phone supports full HD resolution, but the screen of M3 Max measures 6 inches, 0.5 inch larger than UMi Max’s screen.
UMi Max vs Meizu M3 Max: Which one wins?

What about the price? These phone are both aimed at the budget segment. UMi Max price is around RM. 630 ($150). Meanwhile, Meizu M3 Max price is ONLY RM. 580 ($140). So now the winner has been found right?
Google Pixel XL spotted on Geekbench: 4GB RAM and Android Nougat!
Google Pixel XL has just appeared on Geekbench with wonderful hardware and software. Let’s take a look to see what this phone offers as well as its expected release date!
Google Pixel XL: 4GB RAM and Android 7 Nougat
The first thing we can infer from this leak is that Google has put an end to the Nexus series. Google Pixel XL will be the first device of the upcoming Pixel smartphone series from this giant. Based on what we can see from the leak, the new Google phone will come with a 4GB RAM. Besides, it will pack a quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.59GHz.
The name of the CPU has not been revealed. According to previous leaks, Google Pixel XL will pack either a Snapdragon 820 or Snapdragon 821 chipset. However, the clock speed revealed on Geekbench doesn’t seem to belong to any of the chipsets. In fact, it is much slower than what SND 820 and SND 821 offer. Let’s hope that this clock speed is only from the slower one of the two dual-core processors in the setup.
One more thing that will be a highlight of this new Google phone is the OS. This phone is revealed to be running Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Too bad it’s not the first device to run the latest OS from Google (it’s LG V20 instead), but sharing the same manufacturer with Android OS will be a huge advantage for this phone in receiving upcoming updates. As for the display, there are reports that Google Pixel XL will pack a 5.5-inch screen, while the smaller one – Google Pixel, will arrive with a 5.0-inch one.
Google Pixel XL: Availability
So far the battery and the camera of Google phone have not been spotted on any benchmarks. Those specs above are the most likely to be official in the future. However, everything will be confirmed on 4th October, which is reported to be the Google Pixel XL launch date. So let’s count down and wait for the next smartphone from this giant!

iPhone 7 hissing sound reported: What will Apple respond to this?
It looks like Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is not the only troublesome smartphone. Lately, there have been multiple reports about the audible iPhone 7 hissing sound. Let’s take a look to see what’s going on!
iPhone 7 hissing sound: What’s wrong with the phone?
Only a few days after the official iPhone 7 release, multiple users have reported a weird iPhone 7 hissing sound. One of the first people to declare this issue is 521 Pixels’s Stephen Hackett. According to what he said, the weird sound emitted when he was using iCloud to restore his phone. The thing is this sound didn’t come from the speakers. Instead, it seemingly emitted from the back of his iPhone, where the CPU is located.
Stephen also added that he has used lots of smartphones before and this is the first time he has encountered such issue. He posted this to 512 Pixels, along with a video of how the noise sounds. Surprisingly some viewers, including the former PR representative from Apple, have shared that they encountered the same iPhone 7 hissing sound, especially when their phones are conducting heavy tasks.
Stephen then contacted Apple and their customer service has requested him to get his phone replaced for free at Apple retailers. Unfortunately, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus are currently out of stock and he has to wait for 5 or 7 days until he finally gets a noise-less iPhone. However, the bigger problem here is that, since everyone is still “impressed” by Note 7 explosion, the iPhone 7 replacement may not be a satisfying answer towards iPhone lovers.
iPhone 7 hissing sound: What does Apple answer?
So far, Apple has not made any statements about the weird iPhone 7 hissing sound. Meanwhile, many experts have expected that the sound could come from the new A10 chipset. To look on the bright side, Stephen’s iPhone was still functioning properly while the sound is being produced. So now let’s wait until Apple have investigated the case and come up with an appropriate answer! To know exactly how the noise sounds, check the video below.
