Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2: MediaTek’s Helio P25

Xiaomi fans, get ready for this: the Chinese smartphone maker is going to unveil its Redmi Pro 2 at the end of this month! Like its predecessor Redmi Pro, it is expected to be an elegant mid-sized smartphone with a 5.5-inch LTPS-AMOLED Full HD display along with an excellent resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 2.5D curved glass on top. Moreover the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 has a beatiful full-metal unibody design and a dual camera on the rear.

In terms of the phone’s specs, it will be equipped with octa-core 2.5GHz MediaTek Helio P25 SoC, instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile processor. The smartphone will be available in two variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB native storage. This means, that you won’t complain a lot for saying that your phone is running out for storage.

As for photography, the the company provided its Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 primary camera with a Sony IMX 362 sensor, coming with 12 MP. For the Secondary camera, unfortunately, there is no nformation about how many megapixels it will feature for the selfies. It will also offer connectivity options of LTE, WIFI, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, an 3 and 4G. Huawei is one of the leading phone makers in China and seems to work on a new Huawei phone which is known as “NCE-TL10”. Just recently, at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona the company released Huawei P10 and P10 Plus which come with stunning specs! Now, the new mid-range phone has shown up on TENAA. Design-wise, it comes with a elegant-looking full metal unibody design with a fingerprint sensor on the rear and without a physical home button on the front of the phone. But we know, that the upcomng Huawei NCE-TL10 will come with 3GB of RAM together with 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.

According to the TENAA listing, the new Huawei phone will be equipped with a 13 megapixel camera on the rear and 5 megapixel front camera for taking selfies. Now coming to the highlight of this handset: it will be fueled by a enormous 4000mAh battery. Other specs include Android Marshmallow as the operating system, dual SIM card slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, and 4G LTE.

Nokia impressed everyone at MWC 2017 their smartphones. However, they still have a whole new set of upcoming Nokia Android phones to release in the near future.

1. Nokia E1

The phone was spotted a while ago and seems to be a price-friendly device. A worker from a Nokia factory took a picture of the phone and leaked on the internet. In terms of Nokia E1 specs, it features a 5.2″ HD display, along with a Snapdragon 1.4GHz quad-core and Adreno 308 under the hood. The phone offers 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. No information about external storage is available right now, but we suspect it will have a microSD slot.

The device is mounted with a 13MP back camera with autofocus and LED flash, capable of recording 1080p@30fps videos. Meanwhile, the front camera is 5MP. Nokia E1 will come in two color options: Black and White. Nokia E1 price is not yet announced, but we expect it to be cheaper than Nokia 3.

2. Nokia 1

Nokia 1 just showed up recently. There is not much information about it either. However, from the concept video, we can see that the phone somewhat resembles Nokia 230. The phone boasts a display around 5″, with an HD resolution. The back has a single camera with dual-LED flash. There’s also a fingerprint scanner located under the camera. As the name suggests, many assume that Nokia 1 will be the cheapest Android device that Nokia has ever made. However, some doubt that the name is not related to the price. If so, the phone may come with higher specs and target mid-range buyers.

3. Nokia 8

Nokia 8 is one of the upcoming Nokia Android phones. Most sources have confirmed about the phone existence. In terms of Nokia 8 specs, it features a 5.7″ 2K display, with a Snapdragon 835 octa-core (4 x 2.45GHz + 4 x 1.9GHz) under the hood. The phone offers 6GB RAM and 64/128GB ROM, expandable up to 256GB via a SIM 2 slot. 4. Nokia 9

The design for this smartphone has also been leaked recently. But for now, Nokia still stay quite and refuse to give any clear answer about this phone existence. In terms of Nokia 9 cameras, the device sports a whooping 41MP rear camera, capable of recording 4K videos. Other Nokia 9 specs include a 5.5″ 2K display, a Snapdragon 835 octa-core, 6GB RAM and 64/128GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card). Nokia 9 is powered by a non-removable 3650mAh battery.

5. Nokia Edge

Nokia Edge is called the flagship killer and is also one of the best upcoming Nokia Android phones. In terms of Nokia Edge specs, the phone comes with a 5.7″ 2K AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon quad-core processor (could also be the NSD 835 octa-core), 6GB RAM and 64/128GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB using SIM 2 slot). Nokia Edge cameras boast a 24MP snapper on the back, with 4K video recording and OIS. Meanwhile, the front has a 12MP camera. The name runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and will be a heavy opponent for the Galaxy Note 8.
