The Chinese phone maker Xiaomi seems to work on the successor of popular Redmi 4 which was released in November 2016. The Redmi 4 sports an octa core Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 processor and offers up to 2GB of RAM along 16GB of RAM which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Other specs include Android Marshmallow, a 13MP rear camera combined with a 5MP front snapper, and a huge 4.100mAh battery.

Today, a mysterious Xiaomi phone has been spotted on TENAA under the codename ‘MAE136’.According to rumors, it could be the Xiaomi Redmi 5, but, it may arrive as Redmi 4X. However, some of the pictures of the phone were leaked on its website revealing the upcoming Xiaomi device with model number MAE136, and a few exciting key specifications and cool features of the mobile phone.

On these leaked images, you can see the Redmi 5 or 4X is coming with a metal body with a beautiful matte finished and a fingerprint scanner is located on the back, like the fingerprint sensor of its predecessor Xiaomi Redmi 4. According to TENAA’s listing, Xiaomi’s upcoming phone is going to feature a powerful battery with a capacity of 4000mAh, a 5-inch HD display, dual SIM functionality and will weigh 139×69×8.6mm. Unfortunately, we have no information about the other specs.

So far, there are no clues about the price and availibity. However, keep in mind that there is no official confirmation about this phone yet, so things may be different when it is released.
