Dual screen is an interesting technology, and it is still not applied really widely. Recently, there has been a reveal of a new dual screen phone, the Hisense A2, from TENAA!

Dual Screen Hisense A2 phone revealed via TENAA

It has been some time since the release of a dual screen phone. However, this technology is not completely forgotten, as Chinese brand Hisense is planning a dual screen smartphone launch. According to reports, a new phone’s details have been seen on TENAA, with the name of Hisense A2. Actually, this is not the first time Hisense make a dual screen phone, but the last one they made was only launched in China. Other brands just go with the trend of curved screen.

Back to the Hisense A2, some specs have been leaked. The phone in question will come with both a rear 5.2″ E-ink display and a 5.5″ Full HD AMOLED display. The chipset of the phone ha not been revealed yet, but it will come with 4GB RAM. There will also be 64GB of internal storage. It is unclear whether the storage can be expanded or not. The battery capacity is also unknown for now.

Other Hisense A2 specs are also decent. The rear camera has 16MP lens, allowing users to take pretty pictures and videos. As for the operating system, the phone will run on its own OS, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is unclear whether we can upgrade this to the latest Android Nougat OS. There will also be a fingerprint scanner, hidden under the Hisense logo on the E-ink side of the phone.

Hisense A2: An interesting dual screen phone

It is refreshing to see a brand trying for some different technology, amidst the curved screen trend. How ever, full information about this phone is not available yet, including the Hisense A2 price. Hopefully, when we get the full specs and price, this phone will not disappoint! The phone is speculated to be introduced at MWC, where Nokia also makes a comeback!
