- OnePlus One for RM1048 with Lazada Voucher “CYBERLAZ50”
The OnePLus One was launched in April this year and due to high demand sold only on Invite Basis. That meant a lot of customers who could not get their hands on the oneplus one. The new phone, maybe called oneplus two will sell via the pre-order system that is starting by OnePLus this October.
But what you expect from the OnePLus Two ( thats the most obvious name for the OnePLus One Successor). The OnePlus Two is expected to get a smaller screen then the current 5.5 inch phone. Before the OPO launch, OnePlus repeatedly said that the OPO would be a 5.5 inch phone in a 5inch body. We can clearly see that OnePlus did not reach that goal though.
We learned about the OnePlus Two on a Reddit AMA session with OnePlus. OnePlus said:“OnePlus 2 should be out in Q2 or Q3 of 2015. By that time, I’d think Android L would be standard. :).” They also talked about the chance of getting a smaller screen on the OnePlus Two: “We’ve seen a lot of people asking for a smaller device, and want to let everyone know that we hear you. We’re thinking about it.”
From the Conversation on Reddit it gets quite clear that OnePlus wants to make up to those users, who were not able to buy the OnePLus One because of the Invite System. They even said that they “they underestimated demand by 30x, which lead to the scarcity”

OnePlus One Launch in Malaysia officially
Since the OnePlus One Launch, OnePlus got a lot of media attention and customer attention. OnePlus One was officially called the “FlagShip Killer 2014” mainly due to its high specifications and low pricing.
From 29.01-01.10 One PlusOne Deal
- OnePlus One for RM1048 with Lazada Voucher “CYBERLAZ50”
The OnePlus One Phone is not available for Sale in Malaysia officially yet, but a lot of users have already bought the phone via resellers or directly from Overseas. Judging the majority of users who actually were able to buy the OPO they seem to be very happy with the smartphone. Starting soon you dont have to pay any extra money or hassle if you want to buy the OnePlus One.
OnePlus has confirmed that Malaysia will be added officially to the list of Launch Countries for the OPO. OnePLus is already in the process of setting up their operations in Malaysia at the moment.
OnePlus One vs iPhone 6Plus Specs
OnePlus confirmed that their searching a General Manager to build up and lead the operations for the Malaysian Market on their Website. The General Manager for OnePlus Malaysia will report directly to the OnePlus Headquarters in Shenzen, China.
Judging by the Job Ads, OnePlus has big plans for Malaysia. The most important question for customers though, how can they officially get their hands on the OnePlus One. Considering that the OnePLus One is launching offically in India end of the year, it shouldnt take too long for Malaysia.
But will it be too late for the OnePlus One? Product Cycles in 2014 seems to be getting shorter and shorter and by now the OnePlus One has a lot of competition from Xiaomi Mi4, Meizu MX4 and of Course the iPhone 6 Plus and Galaxy Note 3 and 4.
What do you think about the official OnePlus One Launch in Malaysia?
Meizu MX4 Pro – 8 Core Samsung CPU, 3GB Ram, 20.7 MP Cam
Its not totally official, but we are almost certain that Meizu is going to release the Meizu MX4 Pro soon. Similiar to the Meizu MX 4 we are expecting a very competitive and attractive Price combined with blazing specs.
The Meizu MX4 has been a real innovation for Meizu. The MX4 was the first Meizu Phone with a Mediatek Chip, the first smartphone overall to use the OctaCore MT6595, the first Meizu Smartphone with LTE and also the first MEizu to launch below 2000 Yuan (320USD).
We tested the Meizu MX4, and for the price of 1799 Yuan in China its a very impressive device. Due to the MTK Processor and 2GB of RAM in terms of performance its not a FLagShip Killer though.
The Meizu MX4 is more an high end, mid range device. The real Meizu Flagship, the Meizu MX4 Pro will be launched in late October or Start of November. According to various rumors Meizu will target directly the Xiaomi Mi4 and OnePLus One with a price of 1999 Yuan in China for the basic version. The Meizu MX4 Pro 64GB could cost up 2500 yuan.
At this Price the Meizu MX4 Pro is competing direclty with IUNI U3, OnePlus One and XIaomi Mi4. What about the specs of the Meizu MX4 Pro though? The Meizu MX4 Pro will sport a 5.4 inch screen with 2K resolution, so it will have a different body then the MX4. Also the MX4 Pro will come with Samsung’s octacore 5430 instead of Mediatek, 3GB of RAM, the same 20.7 Sony Shooter and a fingerprint reader!
One big question remains – how will Meizu price the MX 4 Pro internationally? For the Meizu MX4, customers had to pay nearly 150USD more then the chinese ones. Lets hope the meizu Mx4 international Pricing will be better!
Nexus 6 with Snapdragon 805, 3GB Ram and 6″ QHD Screen
The latest Google Phone, the long awaited Nexus 6 is too launch soon. The Nexus 5 is still very popular and newest details on 9to5 Google hint that well be seing a 2K Quad HD DIsplay and a 13MP Camera. Also the Google Nexus 6 is expected to come with a 5.92 inch display, a true phablet. The Google Nexus 6 exists under the Code Name Shamu and will be produced by Motorola and to be honest it reminds us quite a bit on the Moto X Phone.
The new Nexus 6 will be a true phablet with a 2K QHD 5.92 inch display and looks a lot like a bigger Moto X. The Quad HD Display will sport a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a pixel density of 498 PPI. To support this power hungry Quad HD Display, the Nexus 6 will come with a 3200 mAH battery.
The Nexus 6, or Nexus X, will also come with Qualcomms’s QuadCore Snapdragon 805 CPU and 3GB of Ram. The Main Shooter will be a 13MP Camera with 4K Video Option and a 2MP Front Shooter.
Nexus 6 Specs:
Processor: Snapdragon 805 processor
Display: 5.92-inch display
Resolution: 2560 x 1440 resolution, 498 ppi
Ram:3 GB of RAM
ROM: 32 GB of storage
Battery: 3,200 mAh battery
Camera: 13 MP rear camera, 4K UHD video capable
Selfie Cam: 2 MP front-facing camera
Like you can see on the Design by 9to5 Google the Nexus 6 looks a lot like the latest Moto X. There will be a few differences with the Volume Buttons moved as one example. The Design Render is based of an real design.
2014 really seems to be the year of large smartphones and phablets. Smartphones with 5.5 inch display phones seems to be the standard these days. More and more companies launch phablets though that are positioned right between Smartphones and Phablets. Huawei recently launched their Ascend Mate 7 and the Note 4 is going to launch soon as well.
What do you think about the Google Nexus 6 Launch? Do you think 5.92 inch display size is the sweet spot or do you like the Nexus 5 size more?
OnePlus One Earphones for just 15USD launched
It seems that Xiaomi’s popularity and success has impressed OnePLus. Xiaomi is not only selling their Smartphones very successfully, but also several accessoires like the Xiaomi Mi Powerbank and Xiaomi Pistons Earphones. So far OnePlus has only the OPO to offer, and that only with invitation.
Now One PLus launched today their first Silver Bullet Earphones in direct competition to Xiaomi Pistons headsets.
Very similiar to the Xiaomi Pistons, the OnePlus Silver Bullet Earphones will sell very cheaply at only 15USD. The Silver Bullets will sell only in the official OnePlus One Launch Countries.
Check out the OnePLus Silver Bullet Earphone Specs:
Impedance: 32Ω+/-15%
Sensitivity: 108dB (at 500Hz)
Frequency: 20Hz-20000Hz
Maximum Power: 20mW
Connector: 3.5mm
Wire: Environmental TPE, 1.1M
The Earphones sports three buttons on the in-line module. With those buttons you easily control your music and even the camera on your OnePlus One. So next time you can control your Selfies directly with the Headset Buttons.
For now the Silver Bullets will only be available in the 16 Launch Countries of the OnePlus One. You might be able to buy them from Chinese Reseller Websites, at a slighlty higher price though.
The Official Start of the OnePLus One Earphones sells next week for 15USD at the OnePlus One Webstore.
What do you think about the Silver Bullet Earphones? Which one would you pick in Xiaomi Pistons vs OnePlus Silver Bullet Earphones?
Breaking: Xiaomi Mi4 Lite and Redmi Note 2 Leak !
It seems like Xiaomi isnt taking the launch of the new Meizu MX4 easy. We recently heard that Meizu sold more then 7.7 Million of the Meizu MX4 smartphone and now Xiaomi is going on the attack with a cheaper Xiaomi Mi4 Version.
Of course its not the first time that other Smartphone Makers are targeting Xiaomi phones, after all Xiaomi has been extremely successful with their Strategy. Espescially OnePLus One, IUNI U3 and also Huawei launched smartphones targeted at the Xiaomi Mi4, priced at 1999 yuan in China (320USD). It took the 1799 Yuan Meizu MX4 with 20.7 MP Camera though, to really get Xiaomi back on the attack.
Since the Meizu MX4 launch both companies have been exchanging blows on social media in China. There are numerous new rumors that both Meizu and Xiaomi launching new products very soon.
Read our Meizu MX4 Hands On Review!
The new Xiaomi phone, that is hopefully launching soon, was just leaked in TENAA documents in China. It seems that Xiaomi is launching a Xiaomi Mi4 “Lite” Version with just 2GB RAM instead of 3 and 16GB Memory instead of 32GB ROM. Other Xiaomi Mi4 Lite specs remain unchanged with 5 inch FULL HD Display, LTE Support and Qualcomms Snapdragon 801 Powerhouse. At this configuration the Xiaomi MI4 Lite should still be very fast and Xiaomi might lower the price as low as 1799 Yuan in China to fight the Meizu MX4.
In more news it seems that Xiaomi will launch a Xiaomi Redmi Flagship phone. The new Xiaomi Redmi Flagship will get Full HD 5.5 inch display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 13MP Main Camera, 5MP Selfie Cam, MIUI V6 and a Snapdragon 615 or the same processor as in Meizu MX4, the Octa Core Mediatek MT6595 CPU.
Meizu is already preparing to fight back though. Meizu’s CEO Jack Wong has already officially confirmed that Meizu will launch 3 more phones this year. We believe that the Meizu MX4 Pro and the Meizu MX4 Mini will be two of them.
What do you think of the fight between Xiaomi and Meizu? Which phone do you like more Meizu MX4 or Xiaomi Mi4?
iPhone 6 Plus VS Galaxy Note 3 Review in Malaysia

The Galaxy Note 3 is now already one year old, but its still the phone to be beaten by the iPhone 6 Plus. Even with the launch of the Galaxy Note 4 coming soon, at the moment the Galaxy Note 3 is the phone to beat for Apple’s largest iPhone to date, the iPhone 6 Plus.
Let’s see which phone will win in our Quick iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 3 Review !
Design
When it comes to design the iPhone 6 Plus Design Concept did not change much from the iPhone 5s, except of size of course. The 6Plus still has the typical round Apple Home Button, rounded corners and antenna lines on the back that we know already. I guess Apple did not want to change a winning concept, and well see if they are right with that.

The Galaxy Note 3 is already the third phablet for Samsung. That Samsung has more experience in building large phones shows clearly with the Note 3. Especially the Ratio of Screen to overall size is better with the Galaxy Note 3 compared to the iPhone 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 Plus has a slight disadvantage on this point.
The extreme large bezels that are necessary on the iPhone 6 Plus for the Touch ID Home Button and to keep the Design Form clean, make the iPhone 6 actually much larger then it needs to be. That means that the iPhone 6 Plus is larger then the Galaxy Note 3, while having a 0.2 inch smaller screen. The Galaxy Note 3 is a tad thicker then the iPhone, and still manages to look more compact because of this design advantage.
The Galaxy Note 3 combines a plastic build with sports fake leather on the back that seems to be polarizing users, especially the stiching lines on the edges. While the Faux leather is up to your taste though, objectively it does give the Note 3 a very good grip in your hand.

The iPhone 6 Plus comes with a completely metal build, which gives a very Premium impression, as we are used to by Apple. There are already a few drop tests out there and it seems that the iPhone is very durable and stable device. Overall the phone gives a good grip, especially compared to the Galaxy 3 the metal body is more slippery. Also the iPhone 6 Plus sports a Protruding Camera, so the device will not sit still on even surfaces.
Overall the iPhone 6 Plus might have the more aesthetically pleasing design, the Galaxy Note 3 has a bigger screen in a smaller Case, which might be even more important then overall design at this phone size.
Iphone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 3 Display
The biggest difference in displays of iPhone 6 plus vs Galaxy Note 3 is the used technology. The Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 5.7 inch display with a FULL HD Super AMOLED Display. One the Super AMOLED Screen offers extremely vibrant colors and deeply saturated black tones, while the iPhone comes with a 5.5 inch FULL HD LCD Screen, with a tad less saturated colors.

This Color difference is significant even for every day usage, but in the end its more a matter of personal taste and preference. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sports the option to tone down the color saturation though, so the device is more flexible.
Both displays are on top of their game though with excellent colors, great viewing angles and very good brightness levels. While the Galaxy NOTE’S Super AMOLED might have a slight edge, both the LCD and the Super AMOLED are the under best what is on the market today, at least to the Note 4 launch next month.
Iphone 6Plus vs Galaxy Note 3 Specs and Performance
If you compare the iPhone 6 Plus and Galaxy Note 3 purely on Specs, the Note 3 has of course better specs. We cant forget though that we are talking about two very different Operating Systems and Platforms. In general it would not be fair to judge the performance of iPhone purely based on Specs.
The iPhone 6 Plus comes with a Dual Core A8 64BIT Processor and only 1GB of RAM, but this is enough to make the device extremely fast for the user experience and apps. The difference to the iPhone 5s is definitely significant. The Note 3 is one year old, but the combination of QuadCore Snapdragon 800 and 3GB of RAM let the Galaxy Note 3 easily handle most of your tasks. To be honest some more optimization on Android Software side would make the Note 3 run even better.
The iPhone comes in 16GB, 64GB or 128GB Storage Versions with no extendable memory available. As always Apple earns top dollar with those storage versions. The highest internal memory Version of the Note 3 is at 64GB, but the Galaxy Note 3 is extendable memory via Micro SD, so User can easily extend the memory up to 128GB without spending too much.
On a lot of Anroid Phones and on the Note Series as well, NFC Chips have been a standard for a long time. Apple just integrated NFC now with their new Iphone, the NFC chip is limited to usage for Apple Pay Service though.
Similiar to the iPhone 5S the 6Plus phone comes with a Fingerprint Scanner in the Home Button, which is an advantage if you are security conscious. So far the Samsung S5 is the only other Samsung device who has the Fingerprint Scanner, so Note Series Fans have to wait for the Note 4 to use it.
In terms of battery life the Note 3 is one of the best devices on the market, it will be interesting to see how the iPhone 6Plus performs. The Battery of the Note 3 is 300mAH bigger so probably it will last longer then the 6Plus. As well the Note 3 Plus battery is removable, while the iPhone’s isnt, so a spare battery can be another advantage of the Note 3.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs iPhone 6Plus Camera
The Galaxy Note 3 sports a 13MP Main Camera, that does a excellent job especially in daylight. Pictures have crisp colors, great details and realistic color reproduction. The Camera is also able to take great macros, good videos and you get a ton of more features with the Note 3 Camera.

In LowLight Conditions though the Note 3 Camera has its limits, which is a problem you can find on many smartphones these days, even high priced ones. Especially the missing OIS on the NOTE 3 can not prevent noise on low light conditions.
Apple decided to go again with an 8MP Shooter as the main camera for the Apple iPhone 6Plus, but with a completely new sensor. The iPhone Camera uses a technology called Focus Pixels, which dramatically reduce shutter lag. That means that the iPhone 6 Plus Camera is able to focus instantly, which makes shooting pictures much more efficient in a lot of situations. Additionally you get Optical Image Stabilization on the 6 Plus, which is missing on the Galaxy Note 3.
If you compare the Iphone 6 Camera to other smartphones, 8MP is definitely on the lower end of the range. If you want larger pics with more detail you should choose the Note 3. If you are after high image quality even in low light conditions and blazing fast shutter speed, go for the iPhone 6 Plus.
Software
Most of the Galaxy Note 3 Features and Apps make use of the S Pen Stylus. The most popular features like Air Command, S Note, Handwriting Recognition or the Scrapbook are all made workable throught the S Pen Stylus in the Note 3.
A very useful featue which iOS8 has not incorporated yet, is the Multi Window feature, where you can open and use two apps at the same time. That is especially efficient with the great size of the Galaxy Note 5.7″ Screen. With Floating Apps feature you you fix your favorite Apps like the S Note directly on the display for easy access.
While it might need some time to get used to it, the S Pen Stylus is actually incredibly useful, especially when precision is important for you. And there are even applications that are not immediately obvious. The S-Pen Stylus and the drawing option is a great tool if you have small kids that want to play and draw. Also its great if you like to take handwritten notes.
The iPhone 6 Plus comes with iOS8. Apple’s iOS8 Design is not that different from the last iOS7 in terms of design but sports a lot of features that actually bring it closer to Android in terms of functionality. On iOS8 you get features like custom keyboards, widgets, highly improved auto correct and an Application battery usage statistics. All very useful features. Also if you should be using a Macbook, or iPad the Option to start your work on your Mac and just continue working on your other devices or vice versa is a great feature. You need to have multiple Apple Devices though to enjoy these features.
Overall in terms of Software Samsung makes better use of its experience with larger screens. The Note 3 is a very efficient productivity device with multitasking features and the Integration of the Stylus. While iOS8 is super smooth and very competent, the iPhone 6 Plus does not really make use of the larger screen estate. Its still “just” a bigger version of the iPhone 6 and 5s.
Summary of iPhone 6 Plus vs Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Its very hard to say which one is the winner after just a quick look at both phones, but lets see the advantages that each one brings. The Galaxy Note 3 has a larger screen at more compact build, micro-sd slot and exchangable battery, higher specs and the Stylus Pen inclusive all useful Apps and features. The iPhone 6 Plus has a Premium Design, additional Fingerprint Scanner, a Great Camera for high quality shots and a highly optimized OS.
Which phone do you think comes out on top ? Do you like the iPhone 6 plus or the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 more?
Breaking: Xiaomi rumoured to launch new Redmi Phone soon
The Chinese Phone War between Meizu vs Xiaomi continues. These days we see them teasing each other on Facebook back and forth, but now things are about to get real. There are very believable rumours that Xiaomi is launching new Flagship Redmi Phones to attack the Meizu MX4.
Since the release of the very popular Meizu MX4 the tension between Meizu and Xiaomi has been rising. This even resulted in insults between the two rivals. The result could be a full range of new Xiaomi Redmi Flagship Smartphons to counter the Meizu MX4 Series.
The newest rumors come from sources very close to xiaomi headquarters in Beijing. It seems like Xiaomi is working on a new range of Flagship Xiaomi Redmi Phones that will be priced from 999 yuan to 1499 yuan (520RM to 790RM). According to the rumors the new redmi phones will come with the latest Mediatek’s MT6595 Octa Core CPU, that we can also find in the Meizu MX4. Overall these phones are believed to be a serious update in terms of hardware to the current Redmi Series with 5.5 inch display, 3GB of RAM, 3500 mAH battery and maybe even the same 20.7 Sony Camera from the MX4.
If the new Xiaomi Redmi Series is already in development process, it would make much sense for Xiaomi to launch the new Xiaomi Redmi Phone rather sooner then later. Meizu is believed to launch a Meizu MX4 Pro and maybe even a Meizu MX4 Mini Version, so Xiaomi needs to be fast to not loose to much ground.
It is very intersting to follow the close competition between Meizu and Xiaomi. According to Meizu they had 7.7 Million PreOrders for the Meizu MX4, which means they are serious competition for the Xiaomi Mi4.
What do you think about the Rivalry? Do you think Meizu could be dangerous for Xiaomi or is it mostly Show?
Iphone 6 Specs Comparison: Apple Vs Android’s Best!
Its not even end of September and it was already an awesome month for Mobile Technology and Fans. We have seen the launch of Samsung Note 4 and Edge, the Xperia Z3 and the Meizu MX4 and IUNI U3. And of course the unveiling of the sixth generation of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. While iOS and Android are targeted at very different user groups, its still very interesting to see how that latest Apple Phones compare to the Best what Android has to offer. Especially considering that the newest iPhone 6 and 6 plus is now equal in display Size.
Of course on Paper Specs Comparison wont give us the whole picture, but its still very interesting to see how iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus compare against the Android Competition. In this review we compare the most popular Android Smartphones against the newest iPhone Family Members. We also included the popular OnePlus One, “Flagship Killer” and Nexus 5.
iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Displays
Apple is doing their best efforts to sell that their relatively small Retina Standard Displays are up to the competiton. In 2014 we have seen more Full HD 1080p Displays and with LG G3, Note 4 and others even the launch of 2K Quad HD Displays on Android Phones. Comparing pure size wise the new iPhone 6 still does not play in the same league as its Android Competitors, but the new Iphone comes closer. The New iPhone 6 sports a 4.7 inch display, thats an increase of 0.7 inch compared to the iPHone 5S, but is still smaller then most of the competition with 5 or 5.2 inch average we see with most Android Flagships.
Resolution
Comparing on resolution the Iphone 6 comes in last, compared to other popular Android FlagShips with its 1334×750 resolution on 326ppi. This is the same resolution and pixel density we saw on the iPhone 5s. Most Android FlagShips are in the range between 401-538 ppi, even recent chinese FlagShip Smartphones like the IUNI U3, having more then 530 ppi
For the iPhone 6Plus the story seems a bit different. The 5.5 inch Phablet looks more like what we are used too from Android Flagship Phones, especially other phablets like the Note 4. The iPhone 6 Plus finally gets Full HD 1080p resolution on an iPhone with 401 ppi. This better fits the expectations we are used to in 2014, while the pixel density is still on the lower end of the scale comparing to other Android Devices.
See our iPhone 6 Specs Comparison
iPhone 6 and 6Plus Specs and Hardware
Comparing Apple’s Hardware and Specs to Android phones is not exactly easy. If you compare purely on paper its very obvious that the 3GB of RAM and quad or Octa Core processor should beat Apple without breaking a sweat.
Of course Apple CPU is 64bit, which might give the processor a tiny edge. The main point though is that it was always Apple’s strategy to optimize their OS, iOS, for optimal user experience and minimal hardware usage. Apple Fans will argue that the Dual Core A8 processor with 1GB of Ram will give the same or even better user experience on iOS then a Snapdragon 801quadcore with 3GB on Android. But are Apple Fans right? There are points to both sites. Apple’s iOS is definitely very efficient and optimized to work with less specs, but I think that a better CPU, GPU and additional RAM still would have made a significant difference.
iFixit Tear Down Confirmed only 1GB of RAM on the iPhone 6 Series
Even if Apple sold out again Millions of iPhone 6 in shortest time, why not really Blast Apple Fans with a mightier CPU and more RAM? Its 2014 after all and the Dual Core, 1GB of Ram Combination seems quite outdated. One bright point are the graphics though. Early Graphic Testing and Benchmarks show that the A8 and GPU are very promising and might even beat the high end Android Phones in terms of Gaming.
iPhone 6 and 6Plus Specs Camera
To compare Apple Camera is somehow similiar to comparing Apple’s CPU and hardware vs Android Phones. Comparing purely the specs does not give the full picture. Normally iPhones produce very decent pictures, even if the sensors dont seem as advanced as on other Android FlagShip Phones.
Iphone 6 Camera Sample (Source: theVerge)
From first test we can see that Apple apparently significantly improved the camera sensor for shooting experience and final result, we see better color rendering and less haze. The iPhone 6 PLus even gets OIS, unfortunately the iPhone 6 still sticks with digital stabilization. Summarizing I expect the Camera Quality to be comparable to most Android FlagShip Smartphones, its hard to say if its a bit worse or even better at this stage.
There is one new feature on the new Iphone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that is worth noting – NFC. NFC is pretty much given on a lot of Android Flagship Smartphones, but its a first timer for Apple. Apple has introduced a new “Apple Pay” System that is using NFC Technology for Mobile Payments.
Apart from that the extras, like fingerprint sensor and other features seem to be pretty much the same as on the iPhone 5S.
iPhone 6 and 6Plus Summary:
As it stands now the newest iPhone 6 Generation has caught up in a few very important ways such as screen size, OIS and the implementation of NFC. They also introduced a new iOS 8, but overall as far as we can tell there is not too much new here either.
The newest iPhone 6 generation seems to be definitely a step in the right direction, though if we compare specs to specs Apple definitely has a long way to go to catch up. The real world performance could be a very different story as always with Apple. So far we have seen a lot of Hands on Reviews, that are mostly praising the new iPhone 6.
I think that the newest iPhone 6 generation is definitely a very interesting addition to the Mobile Technology World. Iphone’s finally have made the jump to big displays and are easier to compare to Android FlagShip Devices. And the iPhone 6 are selling as HotCake – no doubt.
Personally i wish they would have packed some more hardware in the Iphone 6 and 6 Plus – beefed them up, its 2014 after all. Also after all im still a fan of customization and the whole open source developement System around Android. Compare this to forced U2 on your iCloud and you know what I am talking about.
What do you think of Apple new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 PLus? Can they compare to the latest Android FlagShips?
OnePlus cancels all SwapCovers due to Production/User Issues
One of the coolest features on the ever popular feature on the OnePLus One was definitely the option to quickly change covers for completely new materials. OnePLus called these covers “SwapStyle” Covers and they were available in Kevlar, denim and even Bamboo – pretty neat.
If you planned on buying these SwapStyle Covers, or planned to buy the OnePLus One and later the covers we have bad news for you. We just found on the OnePLus Forums that the Swap Style Line will be cancelled because of production issues.
One Plus said also: “could have designed the removal process of the back covers better; it’s tricky and makes frequent switches difficult. The swap can also leave the back cover slightly creaky or loose, and it risks damage to the battery which is exposed for a short time.”
One good news is that OnePlus already produced some of the Bamboo Covers with very limited stock and will sell them soon. The OnePLus One Bamboo Covers will be sold with in detail instructions “on how to replace your cover without damaging the cover, phone or battery.” The Denim and Kevlar Swap Covers might never go in production though. OnePLus is considering though to launch special edition of the OPO using kevlar or denim cases.
OnePlus admitted later that they were quite disappointed about cancelling those Swap Covers. They said that they learned a lot in the process though and are now “much more knowledgeable and know what steps to take to ensure this won’t be a problem for the OnePlus 2, we will make sure the battery is properly protected and the the StyleSwap covers are easy safe to replace.”
How do you feel about the OnePLus One? Many fans seem to be split about OnePLus and the OnePlus One. On the one hand the One is a fantastic Smartphone, on the other hand those Stock issues take a lot of the fun away from what could have been the best FlagShip 2014.
Oppo N3 Launch and Leaked Pictures
Oppo just made the successor for the Oppo N1, the Oppo N3 official. The Oppo N3 is coming in October and we show you all leaked images and details.
In 2013 Oppo launched the Oppo N1. The N1 is a very camera focused smartphone with some very special features like rotating camera, touch panel on the back and a bluetooth remote. Due to the N1 success, Oppo even launched a Oppo N1 Mini version with a smaller display. Now in October the successor is coming with the N3.
Oppo N3 Invitation Letter
From the Teasers we definitely know that the next camera focused phone by Oppo will be the Oppo N3. From the leaked images we also know that the N3 will launch in October in Singapore.
We dont have confirmed details of the Oppo N3 yet. So far there are different render versions and leaked pictures about the N3 available.
The first version we saw looks actually quite different from the Oppo N1, and would be quite a adventorous design on Oppos side. Its a far more compact device then the N1 and we can see it has a Dual LED FLash.
Oppo N3 Leak 1
The other Leaked picture we saw this week look much more like the Oppo N1. The Render we can see shows only the Top Half of the phone, but reminds us much more of the typical Oppo Design. On this picture we can see the rotating camera with dual LED flash, dual tone flash for better color reproduction.
