We will see the official Launch of Huawei’s first 64BIT Phone the Huawei Honor 4X on 16th. For all of you interested we have found some pictures of a Huawei Honor 4X Gold Version online already.

The Huawei Honor 4X sports Huawei’s own Kirin 620CPU, that uses 8 A53 Cores and is a 64BIT Processor. The Kirin supports TD-LTE, FDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, and GSM networks. This means that luckily the Honor 4X will work on 4G networks outside of China, unlike other competitors as the Xiaomi Mi4.

Other specs for the Honor 4X include a 5.5″ HD display, 13MP Sony Rear Camera and 5MP Selfie Cam. It will also come with a large 3000mAH battery to support the 5.5″ screen.

It is important to know that Huawei will launch two versions of the Honor 4X with different pricing. The 2GB RAM Version will be proced at 999 Yuan (162 USD) and the Low-Cost Version with 1GB of RAM will sell at 799 Yuan (129USD). This seems that the Honor 4X is targeted at the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.

If you are inside China you. For all other countries it means waiting till the official launch. The good news though is that the Honor 4X includes Fdd-LTE so its very likely to be launched outside of China.

When Meizu announced the MX4 in September, Meizu’s CEO said they would introduce three more products for 2014. So far we have only seen the launch of the Meizu MX4 Pro. Now finally two new low-cost Meizu phones seem to become reality, including a Meizu Note Alternative to the Xiaomi Redmi Note.

While we reported on the Meizu K52 earlier this week, it seems that the second model might be the long awaited Meizu Blue Charm Note. As you can see from the pics, the phone in Orange is most likely the Meizu Blue Charm Note, the other on the Meizu K52. The Meizu Note will most likely target younger generations and launch in multiple colors.

If you look at the pictures we can tell, that Meizu has taken inspirations from Apple’s iPhone 5C series. The Glossy plastic on the back is just one of the similiarities, while of course the Meizu Note will be much larger with a 5.5″ display. Apart from the pictures we dont have much details to the Meizu Blue Charm Note yet. Its very likely though that Meizu is targeting the phone directly at the Xiaomi Redmi Note. That means you guys can expect similiar specs and pricing as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G.

Most probably the Specs will be similiar to the upcoming Meizu K52, with a bigger screen instead.

Meizu K52 Specs – Competiton to Xiaomi Redmi 1S

The white device you can see in the pictures is most likely the Meizu K52. The Meizu K52 will launch with a much smaller screen and a 4.6″ display. While the Meizu K52 will come with 15:9 aspect ratio, the Meizu Blue Charm Note will have 16:9 ratio.

If meizu keep their announcement, then we will see those two phones launch in the next two weeks. Meizu already announced on Monday a new phone launch and posted a Teaser with a Apple. Could this be a hint connected to the Meizu Blue Charm Note?

If in any case the Meizu Blue Charm Note is as affordable for the high specs as the Redmi Note 4G, this would be awesome. In fact that means that Meizu offers two alternatives to Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Xiaomi Redmi Note. The GAME is ON!

Huawei is finally entering the 64-Bit Era with their newest Honor Phone Play 4X phone. Although Huawei will just have their launch event on 16th december, the Pre-Sales for their new Huawei Honor Play 4X with Kirin 620 64BIT started already.

The Kirin 620 is the first 64Bit processor produced by HiSilicon, which is 100% Huawei owned. The Kirin 620 is a Octacore processor which utilizes 8 A53 cores which should give reasonable high performance. The Kirin 620 comes with the MALI 450 GPU and is LTE Capable. In general for Kirin processors, they tend to be very strong in raw processing power, the potential pitfal is the GPU.

Overall the Huawei Honor 4X specs, stay the same with the Honor Play 4 that launched in September, but the processor. The Honor Play 4X sports a 5.5″ HD Display, 13MP Rear Camera and 5MP Front Camera. It has a 3000mAh battery and will come with two version. The lower-end version will have 1GB of RAM while the higher end version will sport 2GB RAM.

According to current reports the low-end version will sell at 799Yuan and the 2GB RAM version will sell at 999 Yuan. Huawei might even sell the new Huawei Honor Play 4X cheaper though.

The Honor 4PLay X is just one of several Honor devices launched in 16th December. Huawei will also launch the Honor 6Plus with Dual Rear Camera and 4K BOX.

On the weekend there were some rumors about Snapdragon 810 by the Korean Media. They said that the Snapdragon 810 development has some problems and that the launch will be postponed. This would inevitably lead to delay in flagship models like Galaxy S6 and Xiaomi MI5.

Now Qualcomm responded officially to the Rumors, saying that the development for the Snapdragon 810 is completely normal and under control. They further said that the Snapdragon 810 will ship as planned early in 2015 and the first Snapdragon 810 devices will also be available in the first half of 2015.

At the moment many smartphone companies race to get the first Flagship with Snapdragon 810 on the market. There are several flagships with the Snapdragon 810 coming up like the OPPO FIND 9, VIVO Xplay 5 and of course the Xiaomi Mi5.

As we reported to earlier the Xiaomi Mi5 will very likely launch one CES2015 in Las Vegas in January. The Xiaomi Mi5 will sport a 5.7″ 2K screen, Snapdragon 810 and fingerprint Scanner. We are very excited for the first Snapdragon 810 Monsters!

The Mi Powerbank will be sold the first time together with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G on 11th December and again on 16th December. Lenovo surprised many with the launch of the Lenovo S90, a complete iPhone 6 lookalike. Now it seems like Lenovo did it again and takes a lot of inspiration from the iPhone 5C Series with their newest phone.

This new Lenovo model was found by users, through the certification of the network license (TENAA) in China for the new Lenovo phone. As you can see in those pictures the new Lenovo phone, is not a exact copy, but comes very close to the iPhone 5C. Similiar to the iPhone 5C, it will come in different colors like cherry pink, lemon yellow etc.

What is really surprising is that Apple seems not to take any legal action so far. The main reason might be that the iPhone 6 clone Lenovo S90 and the Lenovo iPhone 5C Lookalike are just sold in China so far. Now more and more resellers are offering the phones though, so this might change soon.

In terms of specs this Lenovo iPhone 5C Lookalike to be very similiar to the Lenovo S90 Sisley. It comes with a HD 5″ screen, 1.2Ghz Snapdragon 64BIT 410 processor and 1GB of RAM. It uses a 13MP Rear Camera and a 5MP Front Camera and Dual Sim Support.

This new iPhone 5C Lookalike from Lenovo will also get LTE and will come with a price tag of very affordable 699 Yuan, that is 400RM or 115USD.

In a new interview with ZOL Mr. Li Nan, vice president of technology Meizu, said that on Monday will announce a new Meizu phone. Could this be the long awaited low-cost Meizu K52 that we reported about earlier?

Before the Meizu MX4 Launch in September this year, Meizu annouced that they are going to launch monthly new high class models. Up till now we have just seen the Meizu MX4 and the Meizu MX4 Pro launching. This is understandable since not even Meizu could have forecasted the huge demand for the Meizu MX4 and Meizu MX4 Pro. Meizu got more then 7Million PreOrders for MX4 Pro alone.

With the recent news and benchmarks about a low-cost Flagship from Meizu, Meizu K52, it is very likely that Meizu will announce this on Monday. The Meizu K52 comes wuth OctaCore 64BIT MT6752 LTE CPU, 2GB of RAM and Full HD Screen. It might have also Dual Sim, but the best thing is really the expected price of of 1000 Yuan, 570RM.

So lets wait till Monday 8.12 to see the big news from Meizu. We are really looking forward to a  potential low-cost Meizu K52 that will directly target the Xiaomi Redmi Series.

Finally we get good news from Xiaomi. It seems that Xiaomi is planning to launch their newest FlagShip the Xiaomi MI5 with Snapdragon 810, as early as CES 2015 in Las Vegas next month, January 2015.

The plans of Xiaomi to launch the Xiaomi MI5 already on the CES 2015 and to enter the US Market were first reported by the Chinese Economic Daily News and Digitime and later confirmed by Forbes.  This entry in the US Market would mean a major step for the Chinese Manufacturer, which is already the third biggest smartphone manufacturer globally after Apple and Samsung.

If we judge by the specs of the current flagship, the Xiaomi Mi4, the Xiaomi MI5 will definitely set new industry standards. According to Industry Analyst Sun Changxu the Xiaomi Mi5 will be one of the first smartphones to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa Core Processor with the extreme powerful Adreno 430GPU. Additionally the Xiaomi Mi5 will get a huge 5.7″ 2K Screen and Fingerprint Scanner on board. The Xiaomi MI5 will also get a 20.7MP Camera, most likely the same Sony Exmor in the Meizu MX4.

According to the reports Xiaomi will keep the pricing for the Xiaomi MI5 stable at 1999 Yuan or 326 USD off contract in the US, which would make the Xiaomi Mi5 with Snapdragon 810 definitely one of the best deals on the market. It is not unrealistic that Xiaomi will sport the Snapdragon 810 OctaCore Cpu. According to QualComm the Snapdragon 810, will start shipping officially early 2015. Earlier we saw the first development devices with Snapdragon 810 already on Sale for Manufacturers and developers, so its entirely possible that we will see the Xiaomi MI5 with Snapdragon 810 in January already. 

According to Xiaomi’s CEO it was always the plan to dominate other markets, outside China “You can certainly call this an acceleration. It’s our mission and our belief that this model should be able to achieve some level of success outside of China.”

If Xiaomi really plans their market entry to the US in January 2015 with their newest Flagship Xiaomi MI5 this is a huge step in catching up with Apple and Samsung in the Smartphone Market. Moreover a Xiaomi 5.7″ 2K Smartphone with Snapdragon 810 for 326USD would set new standards and would be awesome for the customers.

If there is a time to be excited about smartphones then it is clearly now. A 64BIT LTE Smartphone with 3GB of RAM for 1000 Yuan – Well Done Jiayu S3!

Jiayu has been creating the S3 over the last few month and has been quite open about specs and design. The only information we were missing was the launch date and the most important piece – the price!
Today Jiayu announced the price for the Jiayu S3, that will come with 64BIT Mediatek Processor, 4G LTE and 3GB of RAM. The Jiayu S3 will come in two different versions, the 2GB RAM version witout NFC for 899 yuan and the 3GB Version with NFC for 999 Yuan. Those are the prices in China at Launch, so it might cost a bit more at international resellers – but still a very good deal!

The Jiayu S3 further boasts a 5.5″ 1080p Full HD display, Dual Sim, 13MP Sony IMX214 Camera with Dual Flash and 3000mAH battery. The Jiayu phone has 16GB internal memory and is extendable via Micro SD.

Design wise the Jiayu phone definitely does no need to hide. The Jiayu S3 is quite sleek and 8.9mm thick. The overall width of the phone is just at 75.5mm which is very good for a 5.5″ device.

The only detail we are still missing is the actual launch date now. Jiayu says the S3 Flagship will launch on early January. What do you think about the Jiayu S3? We cant wait to actually test it!

The Huawei Honor 6 Plus biggest selling point is for sure the Dual 8MP Rear Cameras. Huawei is not shy of boasting this function and comparing the functions to other flagships like iPhone 6Plus, Note and HTC One M8.

The Huawei Honor 6Plus has two 8MP Cameras on its backside, one for regular taking for pictures and the second camera for recording of depth perception information. With the extra data about depth, Huawei’s Camera algorithm can determine which objects are close and which ones are far away from you. Most probably this will give the users some awesome ways to play around with their pictures. Additionally it will be able to take 3D pictures as well, similiar to HTC’s Dual Rear Camera.

Xiaomi is at the moment the clear Number 1 Smartphone Seller in China and Number 3 Worldwide. For sure China has quite strong competition for Xiaomi with Lenovo, Huawei, ZTE. Up till Meizu launched the Meizu MX4 and MX4 Pro, we did not have the feeling that anyone could come close to Xiaomi’s Price and Spec Level though.

Meizu is competing fiercely with Xiaomi. In newest reports the low-cost Meizu K52 will compete directly with the Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Redmi NOTE Series, which are selling like hotcakes globally. 2015 will be sure very interesting with intense competition in the chinese market.

A few days ago Chinese Analyst Sun Changxu, shared some very interesting details about an alleged Xiaomi MI5 coming up. According to him the Xiaomi MI5 will come with 2K QHD Display, Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core CPU with Adreno 430GPU. All of this awesome specs for 1999 yuan as the current Xiaomi Mi4. This is a bit hard to believe, but after all it’s Xiaomi!

After that it did not take long till we heard first rumors about the Meizu MX5, the direct competition of the Xiaomi Mi5. The first Concepts of the MX5 appeared on the chinese news-site Weibo and were posted by the Android Engineer @Deelie. According to this reports the MX4 will sport a 2K display, Fingerprint Scanner, and wait for 41 Megapixel Nokia Rear Camera!

What do we make of these news? While we know that the Meizu MX4 and MX4 Pro are very camera centric, a 41MP Nokia Camera on the Meizu MX5 seems a bit hard to believe. But then again who thought Meizu could be serious competiton for Xiaomi before the Meizu MX4? Lets sit back and wait for more news on the launch!

Following the news and rumors there is new information on the HTC M9 Specs and Hardware which will launch probably in Q1 2015.

According to MyDrivers the HTC M9 will get a QHD 2K 5.5″ Screen and will sport a Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM. The Camera will be upgraded from 5Ultra Pixel now to a 16MP Camera with OIS and it will run on Android Lollipop. A bit disappointing here, that we will not see the Snapdragon 810 on the M9, but after all these specs might not be the finished version.

If you combine those specs with an elegant Aircraft Grade Aluminium Design, this sounds like a very good deal. Additionally the M9 is allegedley getting Dual Front Speakers an BOSE Sound to complete the package. The Phone will be sold in three different versions.

Lets see how large the HTC ONE M9 will be though. The trend is clearly going to >5.5″. With Dual Front BoomSound Speakers, 5.5″ Screen the M9 might likely get bigger compared to the HTC ONE M8. That is one critique point that many users had compared from the M7 to the HTC ONE M8.
