Some new leaks about the world’s first foldable smartphone produced by Samsung have been spotted. Let’s check out what it offers and looks like!

Samsung‘s foldable phone is coming true!

Back to 2015, at the end of the year, a foldable phone was leaked once under the name Project Valley. Apparently, it was being made by Samsung, consisting of two screens that could be folded, literally, and about to be introduced in January 2016. Well, January passed and saw no foldable phone. And at the time we thought it would just be a concept, the device was mentioned once again.

Speaking more specifically, a latest report from Korea has informed us that Sammy will start mass-producing foldable displays at end of this year. Some of its specifications have also been unveiled. According to the report, the upcoming Samsung’s foldable machine will pack a 5.0-inch screen “in folded form”, and can turn into a 7.0-inch tablet when being un-folded or opened (like what you see in the picture). Interesting, huh?!

Apart from the special display, some other sources even suggest that the firm is testing both Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 and SD 820 chip to run the Project Valley smartphone, while 3 GB of RAM will also be on board to help. Huawei P9 camera to be developed by Leica

If you love taking pictures, Leica camera may not be something strange to you. It is considered as one of the world’s high-quality camera brand and you know what, the upcoming flagship Huawei P9 will sport Leica components, confirmed by Huawei. Well, this seems to be an awesome result of the partnership between Huawei and the premium German camera company Leica, which was announced once before.

“We are going to launch our P9 flagship phone very soon and this is a product that we worked with Leica to produce,” said Huawei deputy chairman Guo Ping. This is not the first time we heard about ASUS ZenFone 3. Back in January 2016, two GFXBench benchmark tests revealed two upcoming ASUS devices which were pretty sure to be ASUS ZenFone 3 and its variant. And today, those machines’ renders have been published, claimed to be the designs of ASUS ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Deluxe. As for the Zen 3, it looks great with curved aluminum frames and 2.5D glass on both front and back surfaces while the Zen 3 Deluxe is metal clad completely. Anyway, they still keep some typical features of ASUS smartphones such as distinctive “metallic spin” texture.

Spec-wise, both handsets are said to boast front-facing flashes and USB Type-C ports. Though, there are also some important differences you need to know. ASUS ZenFone 3 specs will probably have a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Snapdragon 650 chip, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. About camera the main one will be capable of 12 megapixels with some special technology while the secondary snapper will be 8 megapixels. 

On the other hand, ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe specs will offer a larger display with HD resolution and 5.9 inches in size, a Snapdragon chipset (but model is unknown for now) paired with 3GB of RAM. Apart from them, no words are made for the rest of the Zen 3 Deluxe as well as Zen 3 spec package.

It has been a while since we last heard about Nokia at MWC 2016, and now Nokia A1 appears like a hint for the comeback plan of Nokia. Specifically, Kuo mentioned that, Apple is about to launch a new phone in 2017, which will allegedly be a “glass sandwich”. To make it easier to imagine, this 2017 iPhone design will be somehow similar to that of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, but with a bigger size of 5.8 inch. What is special about this rumored iPhone is that, the glass on both of its sides is expected to be curved, making a lot like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

In a current article, AppleInsider quoted that “The analyst believes Apple is looking to implement exotic materials to further differentiate iPhone from a sea of competitors”. If everything goes as we know for now, the 2017 5.8 inch iPhone will be the first Apple mobile to feature AMOLED display, with a huge 5.8 inch screen size. This is a significant change from the typical 5.5 inch LCD panel found on iPhone 6S Plus. Let’s see how it turns out to be in real machine.

The source did not mention any other features of this new generation of the iPhone. We can see that they did not follow the common thought which is “the higher the mAh rating, the bigger the battery, so phones with bigger mAh capacities should last longer.” Yes, in fact, there are more things to decide how quickly drains the battery.

They examined a lot of handsets and put all the battery scores in one table to help you recognize the king easily. Speaking more specifically, they ran a continuous video playback test. On the other hand, they also set each machine to aeroplane mode, turn off automatic brightness plus sleep settings, and pushed the screen brightness up to 170cd/m2 to check their endurance.
