New Huawei phone: stunning bezel-less design

Back in the summer of 2014, the Sharp smartphone brand surprised everyone with their stunning device with a bezel-less display- Sharp Aquos Crystal. One year later, they continued to bring the successor of this bezel-less phone to the market- Sharp Aquos Crystal 2. After that is Sharp Aquos Xx. These bezel-less devices inspired Xiaomi. And the Chinese company follow Sharp’s step to launch the bezel-less Mi Mix.

Not so long after Xiaomi launched this flagship, Meizu responded by leaking that they are also working on a new phone which is bezel-less. It seems like that there is a tough race between 2 brands. Now, this race is about to have a new member from Huawei. Recently, on Weibo, it’s reported that there will be a new Huawei phone with “quad-edge screen”. The phone will  come with a curved-edge and bezel-less look.

One more thing to notice is that the company will produce this new handset under a new brand. There are nothing words about the specs of this phone. However, we expect that this phone will come with Kirin 960 chipset and Android Nougat OS. There will be 4/6GB RAM paired with 64/128GB ROM. It may be backed up with the battery capacity from 3000-45000mAh.

The competitor of Meizu, Xiaomi has just released the Mi Mix recently. The handset is stunningly beautiful with borderless display and a sleek look.  The highlighted features of Xiaomi Mix Mix is a huge screen, with 6.4-inch in size and round-edge surface. On the backside, you’ll find a 16MP main camera, with basic technologies such as PDAF, LED-flash. The phone houses a 4400 mAH battery, supported by Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

To respond that, Meizu immediately posted a set of images implicating a new mysterious phone is coming. And the special thing of this smartphone is that it is borderless and quite narrow. We can also see a fingerprint sensor symbol on the bottom of the front screen. Although those images seems to be a render rather than a real image of a smartphone, it still makes fans very excited and thrilled. Bezelless phone is becoming the trend and Meizu is trying to catch up with.

There’s no specs leak about this mysterious handset.
