Aggressive design caused exploding Note 7: Story of the exploding 6GB RAM
Most of us have heard the story of the exploding Note 7. Today we gonna tell you more about what was the real problem behind those exploding devices Note 7.
Story of the exploding 6GB RAM
The battery was so beautiful that it became aggressive to the design of the Note 7. A pair of polymer layers drenched in electrolytes was used to separate a positive layer made of lithium cobalt oxide, and a negative layer made of graphite. Should those two layers meet, the electrolytes would heat up causing an explosion. As it was rumored, compressing the battery would force the positive and negative layers to squeeze together.
Samsung itself reported that this was a big risk and it might have been too aggressive with the design. Moreover, there is a normal amount of swelling that takes place. Some of it comes from the pressure on the battery created through pushing on the back cover (for example, by putting the phone in your back pocket and sitting on it) . As the company was looking forward to making a thinner smartphone, the batteries were manufactured to pack as much capacity as possible, while keeping to a svelte footprint.
Rumors stated that the company took the risk to shipping the Note 7 to their seller, with a battery that was so thin that it left very little wiggle room for problems. And yes, this should have been spotted in tests. However, Samsung broke protocol by handling the testing itself. Well, Samsung said that “designing and validating process for a new product can be challenging for anybody. In this case, the company took a risky decision towards danger, and the test they conducted for their infrastructure and design validation failed them”.
Aggressive design caused exploding Note 7
Samsung made a wrong decision when launching the Note 7. By one calculation, the company lost more than $5 billion in total revenue and other costs associated. Do you believe that Samsung was so unprofessional to sell something that was not good ? comment and let us know.

Nokia Express Music vs BlackBerry Priv: Designs and specs
From the first look, both phones have elegant and high-class designs, and that is where we will start off this Nokia Express Music vs BlackBerry Priv battle. The Nokia Express Music series has been very successful during Nokia’s peak in the past, so of course the new concept tried to stick with the established designs, with a little unique touch. The Nokia phone has a unibody, and quite thick as well, along with a keyboard under the screen. Meanwhile, the BlackBerry phone also looks unibody, but with a little ridge under the screen. It also has a sliding keyboard. These phones sure is reminiscent of the old times!
Next will be the specs in this Nokia Express Music vs BlackBerry Priv battle. Nokia Express Music specs include 4GB of RAM, while he Priv only has 3GB of RAM. Another of BlackBerry Priv specs is its expandable 32GB of ROM (+ 256GB max), while the Nokia phone has 64GB ROM. The Priv is powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset. While the chipset of the Nokia phone is unknown, we suspect it would be about the same as the Priv. So, performance wise, these phones are quite similar to each other, with Nokia Express Music edging it out by a little with a larger RAM.
Camera wise, the Nokia phone has a primary 18MP camera, with the famous Carl Zeiss lens technology. The camera of Priv is also 18MP, with Schneider-Kreuznach optics. It’s hard to say which one is winnner here. However, the Nokia phone beats Priv in the selfie department, offering 8MP front snapper compared to the Priv’s 2MP one. Express Music runs on Windows 8 Mobile OS, while Priv uns on Android 5.1.1, upgradable to 6.0. The Express Music actually comes with a very impressive wireless headphone, while Priv only has standard package, so the Nokia phone also wins here.
Nokia Express Music vs BlackBerry Priv: Price
Last but not least is the price of each phone. BlackBerry Priv price is now only $299.99 ~ RM.1333. While the Nokia Express Music price is unknown, it is expected to be higher. We will only know by Q2 of 2017. Overall, the Nokia phone edges out the Priv in this contest with a little better specs, and the obviously better additional headphone!

Antutu has just posted on their website the list of best performance devices for December. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 finally shows up on this Antutu list.
December Antutu list: Mi Note 2 show up
The best performance smartphones for this November are finally unveiled. As usual, Antutu posts on their website the list of the strongest device for each month. We have a chance to look at the November Antutu list. Compared to the list last month, there are a few changes. This is easy to understand because there were many new flagships showed up last year. So, let’s have a look at the list to see what are the differences.
The first two positions remain unchanged. Standing in the first spot is iPhone 7 Plus with A10 Fusion chipset. Right after that is iPhone 7. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th place belong to LeEco Le Pro 3, Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and Smartisan M1L respectively. As you can see that the first 5 places are exactly the same to the October Antutu list. The rest of list have some changes.
Standing in the 6th spot is Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Right behind this phone is the flagship from Huawei – Mate 9. Mate 9 with Kirin 960 chipset gets the spot in this list. This proved that the new Huawei Soc is as strong as SND 820, even SND 821 chipset. The last 3 positions go to Xiao Mi 5s, OnePlus 3, and Vivo Xplay 5 Elite. For somehow, we didn’t see Xiaomi Mi Mix or Huawei Mate 9 Porsche even though these handsets showed up at the same time with Mi Note 2 and Mate 9. Hopefully, they will appear on the Antutu list December.
Antutu list: SND 821 smartphones dominate
As you can see that SND 821 smartphones dominate the whole list. 6 positions of the list are taken by SND 821 devices. However, none of these SND 821 devices can surpass iPhone 7 and 7 Plus from Apple. These two devices are still the strongest handsets with A10 Fusion chipset. Maybe next year, an SND 835 device can beat this phone to take the throne. So, just stay tuned, we will keep updating.
OnePlus 3/3T users are reporting touch latency issues
The OnePlus 3/3T users have complained about their devices having a screen responsiveness issue. This problem of the crash has actually been known for some time.
The OnePlus 3/3T having a touch issue
The OnePlus 3/3T was recently launched and shaped as one of the Android best flagships for 2016. Despite its capable hardware, optimized software, and overall good performance, the 3T is plagued by a rather annoying issue.
The issue that users are complaining about is its touch latency, the responsiveness between your touch on the screen and the device responding to your input. The lower the latency, the smaller the delay, the smoother and quicker the response feels to the user.
It usually has to do with the firmware and this latency issue can be solved in future updates. Most of the top-end Android devices out there have a touch latency in the vicinity of 50ms, but reports claimed that the case of the OnePlus 3/3T is double. Although we don’t have the exact figures, we too have felt the effects of this on both flagships. Although this may not be a big deal to some, a lot of OnePlus fans begun voicing their opinion on the matter following the release of the 3T.
It’s when the OnePlus 3T launched that more people started to pay attention to this matter, and they have taken to the official OnePlus forums to voice their opinion. Fortunately, if the company’s record of listening to its customers is anything to go by, this issue will be patched via an update soon as possible. The OnePlus 3, for example, didn’t offer an sRGB color mode at launch, which generated a lot of complaints, but the company was quick to patch in the feature with a swift update.
OnePlus 3/3T users are reporting touch latency issues
The higher touch latency probably shouldn’t be a deal-breaker when considering the OnePlus 3/3T, but is a shame to have it in an Android flagship of this caliber nonetheless. If you think that the OnePlus firmware must solve this issue soon as possible, leave your opinion below.
