After launching the Mi 5 Plus and the Mi Note 2 earlier this year, the company has a rumor that they are working on the new high-end devices in the pipeline next year. One of them is Xiaomi Mi S, a mini smartphone.

The upcoming device will reportedly be a mini smartphone with a mini display of 4.6-inch. The Xiaomi Mi S specs are expected to feature a 4.6-inch 1080p display panel with 2.5D curved glass and 600-nit brightness, according to leaked from Xiaomi’s official marketing material. Under the hood, it is equipped by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, and come with 4GB of RAM and a whopping 128GB of storage. Battery is not as what we are expected, it comes with only 2,600mAh.

In terms of cameras, the new phone of Xiaomi sports a 12-megapixel Sony IMX378 sensor on the back, it will additionally come with phase detection autofocus and a dual-LED flash. It is also able to record 4K videos, while the selfie-shooter in the front is more humble with 4-megapixel sensor f/2.0. A fingerprint scanner integrated into the physical home button on the front is also expected.

Another Xiaomi Mi S Specs is that it will have a USB Type-C port for charging and data-syncing which would be more welcome from the potential buyers.
