Nokia E1 specs: Snapdragon 200, 1GB RAM, Android 7.0

A budget Nokia smartphones appeared on GeekBench and  last month, known as Nokia Pixel. Now, there are real images showing the design and the installation files of this phone allegedly Nokia E1. From what we can see in the picture, this phone has a traditional Android phone design with three button at the bottom front and we also can see the Nokia logo at the top right corner.

In terms of Nokia E1 specs, this phone is likely to be a low-end smartphones. The phone mounts a 5.0-inch display at the resolution of 720×1280. Under the hood, the handset boasts a Snapdragon 200 series chipset paired with 1GB RAM and expandable 16GB of ROM. As for the photography, this budget Nokia phone will sport a 5MP front camera for selfie pictures and 8MP primary camera. According to the installation file, this phone probably runs on Android Nougat 7.0

From the insider information, Nokia is in the process of testing the new machine, which will offer four back color options: bright stainless steel, bright copper, sandblasting as well as a blue. Although this is a budget phone, Nokia will integrate fingerprint recognition into Home Key. This is a reasonable price if Nokia can maintain their products quality. This price is the same as that of the Lumia 950 and 950 duo XL. Meanwhile, the current Samsung Galaxy S7 starts from $630 ~ RM. 2825 and the Apple iPhone 7 starts from $900 ~ Rs 4040.

Design-wise, the phone will come with a 7.8mm body with a USB Type -C port. This type of USB hasn’t been used in any Samsung device until Galaxy Note 7. However, Note 7 is now recalled. So, Galaxy A5 and A7 will be the two first Samsung phone to feature this. Under the hood, Galaxy A5 2017 is powered by a 1.8Ghz octa-core Exynos 7880 processor and run on Android Marshmallow OS.

What’s hot about 2017 smartphone market?

First, and the most anticipated of all, is the return of Nokia. The company has confirmed its comeback in MWC 2017. Nokia is expected to return with some mid-range smartphones first, and the most information we have so far is the Nokia D1C. This is truly one to look out for. Also, next year people are also looking forward to Samsung’s comeback from Note 7’s failure. The company is hoping to bounce back in the flagship segment with the Galaxy S8, with some irresistible speculated specs. Samsung will also look to push on in the mid-segment with the success of J and A series. There are leaks about a possible Galaxy A7 2017 already.

Thirdly, next year will be a special year for Apple. That’s right, 2017 is the 10-year anniversary of the company’s most successful product, the iPhone. Apple surely would not want to miss such an occasion, and we can expect the company to provide something special. The iPhone 8, or what we speculated so far, is supposed to have many ground-breaking technologies, such as 3D photography, being bezel-less, and under-screen fingerprint sensor. We will see whether it will be a trend or not. Last but not least, 4K display will see if it will take off on smartphones or not. 1. Nokia Z2 Plus

First among the latest Nokia smartphones leaked is the Nokia Z2 Plus. According to leaks so far, this phone is going to house either a Snapdragon 820 or 821 SoC, with quad-core CPU clocked at 1.8GHz. Accompanying the chipset will be 4GB of RAM. The phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The phone has gotten similar score to Samsung Galaxy S7 on Geekbench!

Some other notable Nokia Z2 Plus specs leaked so far are the 5.0″ screen, with Quad HD resolution, a 21MP rear camera with OIS technology, and an 8MP selfie shooter. It is also expected to run the newest Android OS, 7.0 Nougat. Nokia P price is still a mystery.

3. Nokia C1

Nokia C1 is also a powerhouse on its own. Some of the impressive Nokia C1 specs are a Snapdragon 830 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM. There will also be three storage options: 32/64/128GB. It will have a 5.0″ Full HD screen, and the battery will have 3,210 capacity. There will be a dual camera of 12MP + 16MP with triple flash at the back, as well as a 16MP selfie snapper on the front! The OS will likely be Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the newest one. It will also have a USB-C port which supports quick charging. Nokia C1 price has not been revealed yet.

4. Nokia D1C

Last on the list of latest Nokia smartphones leaked is Nokia D1C, the phone that have the most attention. There is supposedly two versions of this phone. The smaller version will sport a 5.0″ Full HD screen, and will have octa-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 chipset, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It has a combo of 13MP/8MP rear and front camera. The larger version’s specs has not been fully disclosed, apart from having a 5.5″ screen, 3GB RAM and 16MP main camera. It could possibly have Snapdragon 820. Nokia D1C price is RM. 1239 for the small version, and RM. 2479 for the other. With such reasonable price, you will have very good Nokia D1C specs!

Number 2 is Huawei Honor 6s. Reportedly, the image of the handset has been leaked by @krispitech on Twitter with some of Huawei Honor 6s also being unveiled. Apparently, a Snapdragon 435 chip, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 4G VoLTE support, a 3,300mAh battery, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS will be included in Huawei Honor 6s specs. Besides, Huawei Honor 6s price has also been predicted to be in the range of $120-130. So, what do you think?

3. Huawei Mate 9 Lite

Next is another Huawei smartphone but from a different sub-brand. Specifically, we have Huawei Mate 9 Lite, which has been silently launched on the company’s website. Spec-wise, it has whatever it takes to be a good device due to boasting many decent features such as a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, a Kirin 655 an octa-core chip set, a combo of 8MP selfie + dual main (12MP + 2MP) shooter, and a 3,340mAh cell. In addition to Huawei Mate 9 Lite specs, we also have Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EMUI 4.1 on top, and 2 choices over its RAM and ROM capacity: 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB.

4. OPPO F1s

Number 4 is OPPO F1s. This “selfie expert” has been introduced again with increased memory and storage in India. Speaking specifically, OPPO F1s specs now contain up to 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM and there is even a new grey color variant. For the rest, they are remained, which means a 5.5-inch HD screen, Color OS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, a Mediatek MT6750 chipset, a set of 13MP primary + 16MP secondary camera, and a 3,075mAh battery are still under the hood to run the whole phone. The new OPPO F1s price is around $275.

5. OnePlus 3T

Continuing our 10 best 5.5-inch mobiles for December list is OnePlus 3T. Spec-wise, it owns powerful 6GB RAM, 64/128GB of internal storage (non-expandable), a fantastic package of 16MP secondary + 16MP main shooter, a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED screen, Oxygen OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (upgradable to Android 7.0 soon), a Snapdragon 821 processor, and a 3,400mAh batt supported by Dash Charge technology. Well, no doubt OnePlus 3T is the most excellent handset here and also a strong competitor in the market. OnePlus 3T price is 2,799 Yuan ($405) for the 64GB model and 3,299 ($480) for the 128GB.

6. Meizu m3x

Meizu m3x launch just happened last month and has been gone on sale this month. Its appearance is really appealing thanks to a premium, seamless and smooth look. As for Meizu m3x specs, there are a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Flyme 6.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a MediaTek MT6757 Helio P20 chip, a 3,200mAh cell with mCharge tech, 32/64GB of expandable ROM paired with 3/4GB of RAM. About photography, you can use its 12MP rear-facing or 5MP front cam to capture things. Meizu m3x price is 1,700 Yuan or $246 for the 3GB + 32GB version and 2,000 Yuan or $290 for the other.

7. Coolpad Note 3s

Yep, it’s a sibling of the Huawei Mate 9 Lite we just mentioned above, yet with much greater specifications. Its screen measures the same size, 5.5 inches, but with better resolution – 2K to be exact. Additionally, other Huawei Mate 9 Pro specs are excellent as well: EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS, a Hisilicon Kirin 960 chip set, 64/128GB ROM (expandable) coupled with 4/6GB RAM, a dual cam setup on the back consisting of a 20MP and a 12MP sensor, an 8MP cam on the front, and a huge 4,000mAh cell with fast charging tech. Cool, huh?!

10. HTC 10 evo

Finally, let’s say hello to HTC 10 evo (aka HTC Bolt). Under the hood, there are a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super LCD 3 screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, Android 7.0 Nougat OS, a Snapdragon 810 chip, 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB), 3GB RAM, a 3,200mAh batt with Quick Charge 2.0, and a 16MP + 8MP camera duo in charge of powering the entire device.
