This must be something that most of you are waiting for. It is a brand new smartphone from Nokia, sporting so many stellar features and reasonable prices (starting from $245). Therefore, we felt not very surprise when hearing that the device was going out of stock in just a minute.

In terms of Nokia 6 specs, it is run by 4GBof RAM, 64GB of internal storage (expandable), a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display, a fingerprint sensor, a Snapdragon 430 octa-core 1.4GHz processor, Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box, Dolby Atmos sound enhancement technology, and a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging. 2. Lenovo ZUK Edge

Lenovo ZUK Edge launch took place not long ago. This time, Lenovo brought us something really different from what we usually see in Lenovo smartphones. Yeah, this is an edge machine boasting many gorgeous specifications such as a Snapdragon 821 chip, 4/6GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal memory (non-expandable), a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, ZUI 2.5 based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box, and a 3,100mAh batt with Quick Charge 3.0 tech. Besides, Lenovo ZUK Edge specs also include a set of 13MP main (with f/2.2, PDAF and LED flash) + 8MP secondary (with f/2.2, 1/4″ sensor size and 1.12 µm pixel size) cam to assist users in taking photos. Lenovo ZUK Edge price is $330 for the 4GB RAM version and $360 for the 6GB RAM.

3. HTC One X10

HTC One X10 has just been said to be on the way, of course serving as the successor to HTC One X9. Moreover, accordingly, it was certified in Russia and will probably come with a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 3GB of RAM, and a 16.3MP primary + 7.9MP selfie snapper package. Hopefully we can get more information related to HTC One X10 specs as well as its other siblings in the next days.

4 + 5. Huawei P10 and P10 Plus

No. 4 and no. 5 are Huawei phones: Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. This month, we have been able to collect some interesting pieces of information about those guys and you know what, they will be announced in March or April 2017. This was revealed by the company’s Chairman and CEO of the consumer division Yu Chengdong not long ago, so we think it can be trusted thoroughly. Spec-wise, Huawei P10 and P10 Plus are likely to house HiSilicon Kirin 960 chip set, 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, 6GB RAM, and 256GB ROM. Though, perhaps the P10 will have a non-curved display, while the Plus will do. Anyway, let’s wait a bit more to get a full sheet of Huawei P10 specs as well as Huawei P10 Plus specs!

6. Coolpad Mega 3

Coolpad Mega 3 is a budget handset that has been released in India recently. It’s gonna be a great machine for those who need to or want to have triple SIM support in their phones. Other Coolpad Mega 3 specs are a 5.5-inch HD display, a MediaTek MT6737 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable ROM, an 8MP front + 8MP rear-facing shooter duo, a 3,050mAh cell, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. 7 + 8. ZTE Blade V8 Pro and Hawkeye

Continuing our best 5.5-inch phones list is 2 devices from ZTE: Blade V8 and Haweye. While the former is proud of being the new flagship of the company and first Blade-series member to enter the American market, the latter is “the name of their crowdsourced project.” Interestingly, everyone can pre-order this through Kickstarter at just $199.

Talking about ZTE Blade V8 Pro specs, it packs a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, a Snapdragon 625 octa-core 2.0GHz chip, 32GB of ROM (expandable), 3GB of RAM, a dual 13MP rear + 8MP front camera set, Dolby audio sound tech, and a 3,140mAh batt supported by Quick Charge 2.0. As for the Hawkeye project, it was introduced at CES and would be owning a 5.5 inch Full HD display and a front snapper supporting sense-eye feature to let them “navigate through the phone and scroll up and down just with the movement of their eyes.” Sounds good, huh?!

9. ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom ZE553KL

Next is ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom, a camera-centric model. On the front is an excellent 13MP sensor and on the back is a dual shooter system capable of providing “2.3x magnification before going into digital zoom mode” like its predecessor. Your shots will look fabulous. No. 3 is a Xiaomi smartphone called Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. It has just appeared on TENAA lately with some specific information about its hardware. Accordingly, the machine will own 4GB of RAM coupled with 32/64GB of ROM, a Mediatek Helio X20 chip set, a package of 13MP primary snapper and a massive 4,100mAh batt. Those Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X specs are pretty good, rite?! However, we guess its design is not impressive enough, still looking a bit like Xiaomi Note 4. Anyway, let’s wait and see!

4. Coolpad Cool S1

Next is Coolpad Cool S1. Spec-wise, it packs a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD screen, a Snapdragon 821 chipset, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with EUI 5.8 on top, a big 4,070mAh battery supporting by Quick Charge 3.0, Harman Kardon sound enhancement tech, and a 16MP main + 8MP selfie shooter duo. Additionally, Coolpad Cool S1 specs offer two choices over the device’s ROM (non-expandable) and RAM capacity: 64GB + 4GB and 128GB + 6GB. But, their prices have not been revealed yet. 5. ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom ZE553KL

Here comes our ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom, a camera-centric model for those who love taking pictures. It boasts a great 13MP sensor on the front and a dual cam system on the back that still can “provide 2.3x magnification before going into digital zoom mode” like its predecessor. To be honest, because we were so impressed by the designs of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Xiaomi Mi Mix, we are really looking forward to the Mi6’s appearance. Apart from that, Xiaomi Mi6 specs are also expected to be powerful. What we know so far is that it will probably come in three variations: the first will be equipped with a Helio X30 chip and cost 1,999 Yuan ($290), the second with a Snapdragon 835 and 2,499 Yuan ($360), and the last one with a Qualcomm’s chipset, a dual-edge curved display, and 2,999 Yuan ($434). Hope that a full sheet of Xiaomi Mi6 specs will be unveiled soon.

7 + 8. HTC U Ultra and Play

Next, let’s meet 2 guys from HTC: U Ultra and U Play. Design-wise, they are really stunning if you ask. Spec-wise, each machine has whatever it takes to do most tasks well. Specifically, HTC U Ultra specs contain a big 5.7-inch 2K Super LCD5 screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (64GB ver) or Sapphire crystal glass (128GB ver), 4GB RAM, a microSD card slot, a 3,000mAh battery, Quick Charge 3.0, a Snapdragon 821 chip, Android 7.0 Nougat OS, and a set of 12MP primary + 16MP secondary snapper. Interestingly, Ultra has an extra display on the front, measuring 2.05 inches and capable of 160 x 1040 pixels. All you need to do to bring it home is pay about $749.

As for HTC U Play specs, it is smaller with a 5.2-inch Full HD Super LCD screen along with other still-good-enough features: Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Helio P10 chip, 32/64GB ROM (expandable) paired with 3/4GB RAM, a 16MP + 16MP shooter package, a 2,500mAh batt and fast charging tech. Nonetheless, we have not been informed of official HTC U Play price yet. Let’s wait a bit more!

9. Xiaomi Mi S

Number 9 is Xiaomi Mi S, which is said to be in the works right now. According to some new reports, Xiaomi Mi S specs will have a handy 4.6-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 821 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 4MP f/2.0 front + 12MP Sony IMX378 (with f/2.0, PDAF, and dual LED flash) rear camera combo. In addition, there will be a decent 2,600mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 under the hood to fuel the whole device. So, what do you think about it?

10. Vivo V5 Plus

Last but not least, we’ve got Vivo V5 Plus with price starting from $400. Spec-wise, it has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Snapdragon 625 octa-core 2.0GHz chip set, 64GB of expandable ROM, 4GB of RAM, and a 3,160mAh batt with fast charging tech. Specially, Vivo V5 Plus specs offer a wonder set of 16MP rear (with f/2.0, PDAF, plus LED flash) and dual 20MP + 8MP front (with f/2.0 and 1/2.8″ sensor size) camera. Well, this can absolutely be a great option for those who are seeking a selfie-centric smartphone.

3. Meizu M5 Note

Next is a Meizu smartphone – M5 Note. They belong to the same sub brand, so of course, they have many things in common such as 5.0-inch IPS LCD screen, dual SIM, MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, expandable ROM, a 13MP rear + 5MP front-facing camera set, and a huge 4,100mAh battery with fast charging support.

However, Xiaomi Redmi 4 specs and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime specs also contain some differences to make their costs not the same. Number 6 is Gionee GN5005. It has been spotted on the Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA recently. So, we’re not sure if the GN5005 is its final name, but say, it has a pretty good hardware. According to what we saw on the website, Gionee GN5005 specs will contain a quad-core 1.25GHz processor, a 5.0-inch HD display, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM, a package of 8MP primary + 5MP selife shooter, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, and a large 4,000mAh batt. Continuing our list is Huawei Mate 9. Yeah, it’s one of the newest flagships of the company. No.9, it’s a new Huawei phone called Enjoy 6. Last month, HTC officially unveiled two smartphones, HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play which are coming to Malaysia next week, exactly on February 16. The Taiwanese handset maker knows how to make good-looking smartphones. As usual, the front comes with a elegant looking black surround. But the back of the phone is covered by a glass surface called HTC Liquid Surface, unlike its predecessors which all have a full-metal unibody design.

Let’s talk about the bigger pretty HTC U Ultra first. It has a 5.7-inch LCD QHD display. At heart, the new high-end product runs on Android 7.0 with HTC Sense, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and comes with 4 GB of RAM combined with expandable 64 or 128 GB of internal memory. The battery has a capacity of non-removable 3000mAh and packs 12MP rear camera combined with a super sharp 16MP front shooter, both coming with a UltraPixel mode.

The U Ultra’s little handsome brother, HTC U Play. It is backed up by a 64-bit octa-core Helio P10 processor and works on Android Marshmallow OS out of the box. There are two versions: 3/4GB RAM paired with 32/64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. It owns a 5.2-inch full HD screen and is fueled with a 2500mAh battery. In terms of cameras, U Play sports also a 16MP selfie snapper with f/2.0, 1µm pixel size and a 16MP cam on the rear panel with f/2.0, OIS, and dual LED flash.

HTC U Series Price

Both phones coming with a beautiful curved glass body design and artificial intelligence system. Huawei just released a teaser image, announcing the officially release date of Huawei Honor V9 with 6GB RAM and dual cameras this February.

A few days ago, there was a leak about the Huawei Honor V9 on Weibo, however the phone has a different name back then so no one is sure about it. But today, Huawei has official announced the release date of the Honor V9 with a teaser image. According to the image, the phone will be unveiled on February 21, just one week before the 2017 Mobile World Congress (MWC). For now, there are no additional images or details about the phone design, but we were able to get a hold on the list of specs this device is going to have.

In terms of Huawei Honor V9 specs, it features a 5.7″ 2K IPS-NEO LCD display screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Huawei Honor V9 will come in two variants: one version with 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, the other with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Huawei Honor V9 cameras are another notable specs. The phone is mounted with dual cameras 12MP + 2MP on the back with phase detection autofocus features and dual LED flash. The cameras are capable of recording 2160p@30fps and 1080p@60fps videos. The front camera is 8MP f/2.4, capable of taking 1080p videos.

Samsung has been on a string of bad luck for quite a while. Today, one of Samsung’s facility caught fire and local authorities suspected Note 7 batteries are the cause.

Samsung’s facility in China caught fire: Note 7 batteries to be blame

On February 8, a small fire has broken out in Samsung’s SDI facility in China, causing disturbance in the area. After a short period after the fire broke out, the local fire department of Tianjin showed up with 110 firefighters and 19 fire engines, quickly took care of the incident. According to the local authorities “Material that caught fire was lithium batteries inside the production workshops and some half-finished products.”

Last year was a hard time for Samsung after their Note 7 incident. Samsung was even forced to stop the production and started a recall program for 2.5 million Note 7 devices. In 2017, the Korean company released a report for the cause of Note 7 explosion, however many people were not really convinced about Samsung’s answer. Samsung then promised to apply better procedures to stop this from happening again.

The accident comes as a really bad news for Samsung and all their fans. Luckily, the fire was put out without any casualties reported. This accident has raised many questions about the safety of Samsung new devices, especially upcoming flagships like Samsung Galaxy S8.
