ZTE is well-known for its good smartphones with great specs at an affordable price. Just recently, ZTE has unveiled two new devices dubbed ZTE Blade V8 Lite and V8 Mini at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona. Now the Chinese phone maker seems to work on a new smartphone. A mysterious ZTE phone has been spotted on GFXBench under the codename “ZTE Z986”. Let’s have a look at what it has to offer…

Listed on the benchmark page as ZTE Z986, the device is with its large 6-inch full HD display rather a phablet than a smartphone. The upcoming Android phone is powered by a Snapdragon SoC with octa-core 2.0GHz processor that’s clocked at 2.0GHz, Adreno 506 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The internal storage of 16GB is enough to store all of your pictures and videos. As for photography, there is either a 12 or 13MP sensor combined with a 5MP front shooter for selfies.

Besides the rather underwhelming specs, we are quite impressed about the actuality of the operating system. The ZTE Z986 will be equipped with Google’s latest Android version – Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Unfortunately, there are no further information about the other specs.

So far, there are no clues about the price and availibity. But we assume that it will be a budget price phone due to its midrange specs. The ratio is even higher than the ratio of its predecessor which has already a high ratio of 91.3%!

Last year, Meizu Pro 6 grabbed fans attention and became one of the most popular smartphone from China. And it seems the phone’s successor is making its way to the market. Based on the current design of many Meizu smartphones and, DBS Designing has put together a Meizu Pro 7 concept video. Based on rumors, the phone is expected to come later this year with the company’s Super mCharge charging system. The concept claims a fast charge feature that is able to fully charge the built in 5000mAh battery in only 15 minutes.

In terms of Meizu Pro 7 specs, it will feature a 5.5″ 2K AMOLED display screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone will be powered by a 10-core MediaTek processor, along with 6GB RAM. The internal storage space is not mentioned. But it should be 32/64GB ROM like on the Meizu Pro 6. The phone is mounted with a 16MP camera on the back with laser and phase autofocus, ten-LED (dual tone) flash, capable of taking 2160p@30fps videos. Meanwhile, the front camera is 8MP, capable of recording 1080p videos.

Like all current Meizu flagship phones, the Meizu Pro 7 has super narrow borders all around, and a metal rear shell rather than a glass back. Other features include support for USB Type-C and fingerprint scanner. The phone will run on the latest Android version out of the box.

Oppo F3 and F3 Plus to be revealed on March 23?

It seems that India is the potential market for Oppo since this company continuously brings their products to this country.  Now, Oppo continues apparently to launch two new devices in this market- Oppo F3 and F3 Plus on March 23. The company has already sent out official invites for an event on this day. These phones are the successors of the F1-series which were announced in August last year. Compared to the other members, these devices are coming with dual selfie camera feature.

We already know this feature from other smartphones, the Vivo X9 series. Oppo could have simply adopted the feature from his sister company Vivo for the F3 Plus. But we don’t know if the smaller F3 will be also equippped with a dual cam. However, now a list has been spotted online where you can see the allegedly specs of the upcoming F3 Plus specs. According to this list, the F3 Plus is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro chipset, or rather a Snapdragon 653 processor and comes with 4 GB of RAM combined with 64 GB of internal storage that can be expanded. The 6- inch display offers full HD resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. As mentioned above, the phone will come with a dual front camera, to be precise , with stunning 16 + 8MP. We also know the handset’s main camera to be a 16MP snapper. Other specs include a dual Nano SIM support, LTE, a powerful 4,000 mAh battery. Dimensions for the Oppo F3 Plus are 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35 mm and it weighs 185 grams.
