iOS 11 to have some really good features!
This year is the 10-year anniversary for iPhone, and Apple has some special plans with the new iPhone 8. Before that, however, is the release of the new iOS 11. It seems that this new OS update comes with some good features as well!
iOS 11 to have some really good features!
It is now May, which means there is only over a month left to Apple’s annual developer showcase, the WWDC. The event is expected to take place in June 5 this year. If Apple follows their own format like previous years, the event will be where the company announces its latest OS for iPhone, the iOS 11. There are not much time left, but people can’t help speculating what new features the new iOS would pack. Recently, there has been a report that may expose us to some new iOS 11 features.
Recently, a Reddit user, cyanhat, has shared some juicy information regarding what the new iOS 11 can do. The post was later deleted, but it was already reported. Seemingly, there will be a peer-to-peer payment feature, an automatic low-power mode, and FaceTime Audio can now be switched to the standard calling mode. All of the features seem very interesting and practical so far!
The payment app will be renamed “Pay”, and will feature social media feed and integration with iMessage, so you can now pay via Apple’s default messaging app. Also, FaceTime Audio will now be the standard calling means between Apple devices, like iMessage replaces traditional SMS between iDevices. Low-power mode will now be smarter, as it can learn from your habits to schedule when to turn the mode on. It will work based on geography as well, meaning it can turn on whenever you leave your house or work if you set it to.
iOS 11: Some great features await!
Those features sounds great and all, but remember they are just speculation for now. However, it is not long until we have official words about iOS 11. Are you excited for the new iOS?

Moto Z2 Play: 3000mAh, 4GB RAM
The Moto Z Play was one of the best smartphones in the industry in terms of battery. With its success, Lenovo will surely look to release the next version of the phone. Now, the Moto Z2 Play has been revealed!
Moto Z2 Play revealed: 3000mAh, 4GB RAM
The previous phone in the Z series, Moto Z Play, was rated very highly for its battery. With 3510mAh capacity, it can last a whole day and a half of usage with no problems at all. It was received so well, that Lenovo will surely want to capitalize on that with the next iteration of the phone. Now, we have some Moto Z2 Play specs revealed, and surprisingly, the battery got a decrease! Many speculate it due to the phone having a thinner design, so some sacrifices were made.
It seems that Lenovo wants to reduce a little bit of bulk on the Z Play, to achieve a thinner body, much like the original Moto Z. To do that, the battery capacity will be reduced, from previously 3510mAh to only 3000mAh now. With this change, it will definitely not be able to last as long as Z Play. The Moto Z Play was able to last up to 50 hours, and now the Moto Z2 Play can only stay for up to 30 hours, which will be kind of unimpressive for many people.
However, the Moto Z2 Play also receives upgrades in every other department. It is set to house a Snapdragon 626 chipset, clocked at 2.2GHz, with Adreno 506 GPU. Going along will be 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Other Moto Z2 Play specs will also include a 5.5 inch SuperAMOLED display, a 12MP f/1.7 camera lens at the rear, and a 5MP lens at the front for selfies. Similar to others from Z series, this phone will also be compatible with Moto Mods.
Moto Z2 Play: Enhanced Z Play, except for battery
With those specs, Moto Z2 Play will be more powerful the the Z Play, but will last not as long. Moto Z2 Play price and release date has not been revealed yet, although reports suggested that it is quite close. What do you think of the new Moto Z2 Play?

HTC U Ultra screen is truly durable!
HTC recently just released the sapphire version of its new HTC U Ultra. True enough, the company was not lying about the sapphire part, as the screen was entirely made from that. After some test, it is clear that the HTC U Ultra screen is more durable than Galaxy S8!
HTC U Ultra screen is more durable than Galaxy S8!
HTC, in a surprising move, has recently introduced the special edition of the new HTC U Ultra, with sapphire crystal display. True enough, the company did not lie, as the screen is really made of the said material. Recently, the HTC U Ultra screen was put to the test to see how well its endurance is. JerryRigEverything on YouTube conducted such a test, and the result was really incredible: the HTC U Ultra screen resist scratch better than even iPhone and Galaxy S8! They also did a similar test on the Galaxy S8 as well.
After the test, the phone achieved a score of 8 on Moh’s hardness scale. This means that the screen will likely stay in tip top condition for the rest of its life, unless there is a really hard drop. It is an incredible achievement by HTC, as covering a whole screen with sapphire is something even Apple could not pull of in a big scale. Apple only coated the home button and camera lens of iPhone with it. Only Vertu has done this before, and we all know how expensive Vertu phones are.
As a reminder, let’s look back at HTC U Ultra specs. Under the hood, there is a Quad-core (2×2.15 GHz Kryo & 2×1.6 GHz Kryo) SND 821 chipset, accompanied by 4GB of RAM. There is 64/128GB of storage, and can be expanded further by up to 256GB. The phone has a 3000mAh battery. Outside, it sports a 5.7″ 2K display, a 12MP main camera at the rear and a 16MP secondary shooter for selfies at the front. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Overall, its specs are really good, although it is not the best.
HTC U Ultra screen: Does it make the phone good?
However, the price is certainly a barrier for customers. HTC U Ultra sapphire price is $900 (~RM. 3,911), signigicantly more expensive than the normal edition. It is also released in limited countries. What do you think about this edition of HTC U Ultra?
