January 2015 is the next big date for all of you Xiaomi fans. After a relatively small launch on 4th January for the 4.7″ Redmi 1S, we can expect something much bigger for January 15th from Xiaomi.

For the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 we expect a gadget that will once again be hard to beat for the price and spec combination you get. The Xiaomi Redmi Note is expected to sell at 999 Yuan, RM560 and this price is truly remarkable for the specs combination.

Recently the competition for Xiaomi has been intense. Meizu has introduced the Meizu M1 Note. The Meizu M1 Note is a direct Xiaomi Redmi Note, and features nearly identical specs to the upcoming Redmi Note 2. We might even say that from the leaked pictures, the Meizu M1 Note looks a bit more colorful and stylish.
