There was a post on the forum of MIUI announced that the next version of Xiaomi – Xiaomi MIUI 7 will be released in about two weeks, together with another new product Redmi Note 2. The launch event will be held on August 13th, this is also the same day of the event Galaxy Unpacked 2015 of Samsung. Beside that the new device Redmi Note 2 will come in the following days.

In the previous time, Xiaomi has announced a new MIUI with the Mi4. Therefore, it is highly possible that they will introduce the new flagship Mi5 intergrated this new operating system MIUI 7. Xiaomi Mi5 was rumored to have the QHD display, Snapdragon 810, ang the 13 megapixel rear camera, 13 megapixel front camera, a huge 3,000mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi5 price is predicted to be about $386 (approximate RM 1495).

Then, the Xiaomi Mi5 handset now can be ranked as atractive as the Moto X Style and the OnePlus 2. This will be the attractive option for consumers with the high-end specs and the affordable price. The larger version will be the Mi5 Plus which is equipped the Snapdragon 820, so the device is likely to be released later.

Xiaomi has released the MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0, so Xiaomi MIUI 7 can be built based on Android versions 5.1.1 Lollipop. However, we still cannot make sure if there is anything interesting from this new MIUI 7 of Xiaomi.
