Samsung Galaxy S7 processor: Snapdragon 820 VS Exynos 8890

At the moment, no doubt Samsung Galaxy S7 will be offered with 2 choices known as Samsung Exynos 8890 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 variants. Those are all the newest and most powerful processors from two super famous chip makers in the mobile market. However, we cannot really be aware of how strong they are. Luckily, both versions have gone through benchmark recently, revealing their true strengths and even the strongest one between them.

Accordingly, the Exynos 8890 chip is better with 8946 points on multi-core performance while the Snapdragon 820 chip’s got 4979 for Multi-core score. Nonetheless, SD820 has won at Single-core score with 2,282 points and the 8890 just had 1,873. Though, please keep in mind that these results may change since the software has not been the final yet. Let’s wait for Samsung Galaxy S7 launch and we can see their official benchmark scores.

Apart from the two processors, Samsung Galaxy S7 specs also contain a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, 4GB of RAM, 32/64/128GB of internal storage, Force Touch tech, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It won’t be long because Samsung sent out media invitations and a brief trailer for their Unpacked Event not long ago. Besides, it is claimed that Samsung Galaxy S7 launch will take place at Mobile World Congress 2016 at 7 p.m. CET on February 21, 2016 and in the U.S. on March 11, 2016. About its price, the handset can cost around $650, but just take it with a pinch of salt, okay?!
