Oppo has just announced its latest product: Oppo A37! This smartphone is aimed at the budget market segment. Let’s see what makes this phone different from other budget phones!

Oppo A37: A camera smartphone!

Oppo always focuses on photography, and this product is not an exception! First, let’s talk about Oppo A37 camera! With a humble resolution of 8MP in both shooters, you may think that Oppo A37 will never be a good option for photography. However, you should think again! The front camera of the phone is a backside-illuminated selfie camera that supports 1.4μm pixels. With these features, you are allowed to take great selfies in low-light condition. Moreover, the display will light up when you take selfies in order to bring more light to your face.

At the same time, the main camera of Oppo A37 is capable of taking 24-megapixel photos. To be more specific, the camera software combines 5 photos together to form one single photos. Just like its brother on the front, this camera supports 1.4μm pixels. Another highlight of the primary camera is that we can wave our hand in front of the snapper to start a shooting countdown.

Other Oppo A37 specs are also amazing! This phone packs a 5-inch HD screen with IPS technology. Under the hood, there’s a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and a Snapdragon 410 chipset. Besides, with the average RAM of 2GB, this phone can offer a nice performance. For storing purpose, the phone houses 4GB of ROM, which can be expanded via a microSD card. The battery of this device comes at 2630mAh. Oppo A37 also runs Oppo’s ColorOS 3.0, which is based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Oppo A37: Price and Availability

Oppo A37 comes in a 7.7-mm thin metal body and will be available in two color options: gold and rose gold. Up to now, there hasn’t been any official information about Oppo A37 release date in Malaysia yet. However, the phone will hit Indonesian market on 25th June, so I don’t think it will take very long until the phone comes to Malaysia! Oppo A37 price is also very affordable: only $200.
