OnePlus 5 is among the most awaited phones of 2017. After the success of OnePlus 3 and 3T, people are looking forward to the new OnePlus device. Now, the OnePlus 5 price and some of its specs have been revealed!

In recent years, OnePlus has made a name for itself in the smartphone market. Its devices are usually labeled as “flagship killer,” because OnePlus devices offer specs that can rival that of most high-end phones, but at a very reasonable price. OnePlus 3 has reigned as the best smartphone on AnTuTu for half of 2016, and only dethroned by the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus at the time. However, recently OnePlus 5 price and some specs have been revealed, and it seems the new OnePlus smartphone is going to ve quite costly!

The new OnePlus 5 price has been revealed to be about $650 (~RM. 2812), and it is quite expensive! The price of OnePlus devices sure has increased over the years. However, this is the biggest jump in price from a previous device from OnePlus. For reference, OnePlus 3T price was $439 (~RM. 1899) for the 64GB ROM version, and $479 (~RM. 2072) for the 128GB variant. OnePlus has said that the price is due to higher cost for components and design. That is a fair reason, but it would surely put many fans off.

Some OnePlus 5 specs were also revealed as well. Under the hood, it will have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Supporting that will be whopping 8GB of RAM! With these components, users will not have to worry about performance, as that can rival even the top smartphones now. There will also be 128GB of internal storage, and will likely not be expandable like its predecessor. Outside, there will also be a 5.5″ QHD display. The phone is expected to run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. Overall, OnePlus 5 seems like a great phone!
