Today, we have a tough fight between two beasts from Motorola. First, let’s talk about the processor of the upcoming Moto G5 Plus phone and Moto Z! Under the hood, the compact Moto G5 Plus phone will be by a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 processor, while Moto Z is equipped with a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 SoC. This means that with the latter phone, you will get a better and stronger performance. However, the Moto G5 Plus will come in three variants (32/64 GB ROM + 2/4 GB RAM, 32 GB + 3 GB RAM). Its rival is just available in two variants (32/64 GB ROM, 4 GB RAM)

By considering their display, Moto G5 Plus Phone will sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display. Having the bigger screen size of 5.5-inch AMOLED, the Moto Z features better pixel per inch, which is 535ppi with resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels in comparison to 424ppi of its competitor. Therefore, the Moto Z also wins this round!

For photography, the existing Motorola device features 13MP rear camera with f/1.8, while the upcoming phone will be provided with a 12MP f/1.7 shooter on the back. Both handsets own a 5MP front snapper for selfies. Other Moto G5 Plus phone and Moto Z specs are also interesting. The G5 Plus is fueled by a 3000mAh juice pack whereas the other Motorola phone’s battery is only 2600mAh. The one from last yearjust runs Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow), but it is upgradable to  7.0, while the new one comes with the newest version of Android, 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.

In the specs battle, we can see that each of them has theirs outstanding spec.
