LG G4 coming out on April 28th with f/1.8 lens, laser focus and LED flash

Another flagship for 2015 is announced today. The LG G4 is coming out and LG’s invitations for the launch event are as clear as day.

An official image of the leather back spots the camera will have aperture of f/1.8, which had been highlighted in the teaser video before. Theoretically, compared with the f/1.9 lens on the Samsung Galaxy S6, photos captured in less ideal conditions taken by the LG G4 will let 11% more light.

The camera is supported with a dual-tone LED flash and laser focus sensors on either sides while the power and volume buttons are located underneath as on the LG G3. In one word, on-the-back-located position of the power and volume keys on the LG G series is typical.

A leather back panel is an eye-catching trait on the upcoming LG G4. We have noticed of it before through rumors but now, through the teaser image, it likes a confirmation. Edges and camera section will be surrounded by all stiches.

Reports said the phone would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, which can be seen on LG G Flex 2 also, 3GB RAM, 16MP wide-angle rear camera along with laser focus.

It features a 5.5-inch qHD (2,560×1,440) LCD display. According to LG, this phone’s screen presents 30% brighter with a 50% higher contrast ratio than traditional qHD display, also it gives more precise color displaying.

Touchscreen sensititvity is improved in this new phone as well. Owing to the Advanced In-Cell Touch (AIT), the touch sensor is enclosed to the LCD screen making it more sensitive to touch in a thinner body.
