If you are photo lover, both smartphones are ideal choices. Anyway, Google Pixel is rated higher than its rival. According to DxOMark – the famous camera benchmark website, Google Pixel camera scored at 89 while the Galaxy S7 scored at 88. Going to detail, Google Pixel sports a 12.3MP rear camera while on Galaxy S7, you’ll find a 12MP camera. The selfie shooter of Google Pixel is also better, with 8MP resolution, compared to 5MP camera on Galaxy S7.

Besides a better camera, Google Pixel is working on a newer OS – Android 7.1. Galaxy S7 is running on Android 6.0. In contrast, Galaxy S7 comes with a better screen. It has a 5.1-inch screen, with 2K resolution and Super AMOLED technology. On the other hand, Google Pixel has a 5.0-inch screen, with full HD resolution and AMOLED technology. Additionally, Galaxy S7 sports a 3000 mAH battery, which is 230 mAH bigger than Google Pixel’s battery (2770 mAH).

As for the internal assets, both phones come with the same amount of RAM: 4GB. However, Google Pixel seems to be stronger than it rival. Under the hood, it is powered by the newest processor from Qualcomm – SnapDargon 821. On the other hand, Galaxy S7 is working on Exynos 8890/SnapDragon 820 processor. The Google phone also offers a bigger ROM option of 128GB, compared to 64GB ROM on Galaxy S7.

Google Pixel vs Galaxy S7 : Price

The prices of two smartphones are quite similar. Google Pixel price starts at $649 ( for 32GB ROM version) and $749 (128GB version). Meanwhile, Galaxy S7 price is about $648 for 32GB ROM and $750 for 128GB version. As you can see, Google Pixel comes to this battle with a stronger processor and a likely better camera. In the mean time, Galaxy S7 specs are not too far from Google Pixel’s. Especially, it sports a bigger battery. So, which phone is the winner as you think?
