The Google Nexus 6 phablet will launch officially in Malaysia! The International variant of the Spec Monster with the model number XT1100 has passed SIRIM Certification and will go on Sale very soon.

The Successor of the very popular Nexus 5 phone, is the largest Nexus phone up to date. You get a large 5.96″ 2K QUAD HD display with a 2560×1440 resolution. The Nexus 6 is powered by Qualcomm’s strong 2.7GHZ Quad-Core Snapdragon 805, the same processor as in the Galaxy Note Edge. While there are 2 Versions available with 32GB and 64RAM, Malaysia will probably get the 32GB Version.

In the camera department the Nexus 6 comes with a 13MP Camera including Optical Image Stabilization, with a ring flash illumination. For Selfie Lovers the Nexus 6 offers a 2MP Camera. Also you get Front Facing Dual Stereo Speakers.The huge Display is powered by a reasonably large 3220mAh battery. Of course the Nexus 6 supports 4G LTE and as you can see in the SIRIM pictures. The Nexus 6 bands include our local bands as well.

The Nexus 6 is distributed by Brightstar. We can only hope that the Nexus 6 expected price get closer to the official price of RM2350 or 649USD. Apparently there is a lot of demand for the Nexus phablet in Malaysia, that why at the moment grey importers like DirectD have the Nexus 6 price at outrageous RM3189.
