Awaited Snapdragon 820: the fastest processor clock at 3.0GHz coming August

As well known, Qualcomm Snapdragon is a manufacturer that mainly produce chipset for market flagship smartphones and tablet. After struggling many troubles around overheating of Snapdragon 810, Qualcomm have tried to strengthen its operation process to bring a new generation for comsumers. Although it was frist mentioned in March at MWC 2015, until now we just know few information that Snapdragon 820 will use the Kryo core designed by Qualcomm. Meanwhile, according to a source from China, the new chip will be announced in details at a special event in Los Angeles. The event will be took place on August 11th 2015.

The source also said the new chip will have the Adreno 530 graphics, modem Cat.10 MDM9x55 and produced by finFET process. Moreover, according to AndroidCentral, the Snapdragon 820 will have Kryo quad-core  64-bit with 3.0GHz clock speed and it will be manufactured on Samsung’s 14nm technology. The 3.0 GHz speed is actually higher than the figure of 2.0 GHz of Snapdragon 810 or 2.1GHz of Exynos 7420 of Samsung

The new chip with Kryo quad-core 64-bit  3GHz will significantly faster than any other products in recent market- at least according to the results of performance measurement  was announced.

The differences between the previous chipset and the new one is that Snapdragon uses big. LITTLE architecture of ARM. Qualcomm decided to return and use its chip is the way to get rid of the overheating problems.

In addition, according to the website of Korea Mobile-dad, Sony, Xiaomi and HTC will be the first brands to have the chance to experience the new Snapdragon 820 chipset.
