Thanks to MIT&#8217;s technology, your device now can get the best of both worlds: the slim body and huge battery capacity.<\/p>\n<p>This SolidEnergy Systems company is working on a new battery called &#8220;anode-free&#8221; lithium-metal battery. This kind of battery is 20% thinner than the current one- lithium-ion battery. Not only that, the\u00a0lithium-metal battery has the battery capacity twice the amount of lithium-ion battery. The secret is a thin foil.
