Note that the tests were conducted under pretty the same conditions. Nonetheless, some small variations in the framing of the shots do exist because of their cams&#8217; different aspect ratios, fields of view, and focal lengths. On the contrary, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 somewhat made us disappointed. We expected that details in its photo should have been clearer without burning in lighter areas. Similarly, Moto X Pure Edition was in the same case and HTC One A9&#8217;s image was detailed, but unnaturally cold and with there was too much contrast.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13056\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pricepony.com.my\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Scene-1.jpg\" alt=\"Scene-1\" width=\"470\" height=\"325\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.my\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Scene-1.jpg 470w, https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.my\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Scene-1-300x207.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 470px) 100vw, 470px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Anyhow, which picture do you like most?\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Scene 2\u00a0&#8211; Outdoor environment<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13057\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pricepony.com.my\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/mosaic-02.jpg\" alt=\"mosaic-02\" width=\"680\" height=\"701\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.my\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/mosaic-02.jpg 680w, https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.my\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/mosaic-02-291x300.jpg 291w, https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.my\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/mosaic-02-621x640.jpg 621w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Outdoor environment with\u00a0natural light seems a perfect condition for all kinds of cameras to show off their\u00a0talents. Pictures are usually shot at low ISO and high shutter speed which will give little noise and lack of motion blur to the pics. For our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pricepony.com.my\/blog\/best-6-smartphones-with-20mp-and-above-rear-cameras\/\" target=\"_blank\">phone cams<\/a>, in general, the\u00a0Moto X Pure Edition and the Nexus 6P were the best, for\u00a0the photos&#8217;\u00a0details were very\u00a0nice and clear. The Galaxy Note 5 also did a good job though perhaps its\u00a0rear snapper sharpened the image too aggressively. The iPhone 6S Plus and the HTC One A9 were great as well. Meanwhile, the LG G4 were not. Yet, the most outstanding one goes to LG G4. It stuck a good balance in exposure between the bright areas of the scene. The runner-ups are Nexus 6P and iPhone 6s Plus. Then, we have\u00a0Galaxy Note 5. Although its photo was detailed enough, there were\u00a0dark areas in the pic, making it not very beautiful. On the other hand, HTC\u00a0One A9 had a totally different issue. All the pics are pretty awesome generally, yet\u00a0LG G4 can be number one with its bright, vivid image. And&#8230; WOW. They all set the focus right. We notice HTC One A9 did better than the others. Some of them have high megapixels but sometimes cannot work as good as the lower ones.
